Personally this makes me think that Shy would have been better off making a slot of... find members from ten different states/countries. A mix if you will. He'd probably get more responses to the game if he did that.
I should mention that to him. :D Especially since I was thinking we had more members from different countries visiting OtakuBoards. I guess they are around and just haven't posted in this thread. ^^ Like James... I know he's in Australia and the other James at theOtaku is in Canada.

Oh, I should probably have mentioned way back when I made my post here that you should only visit England when it's raining, a time that's also known as "all year round." It's really the only way you'd get a true idea of what English culture is like.

In fact, go to London when it's raining and try and get on the Tube system (that's the Underground rail system for anyone having strange Futurama-like visions of tube travel) at 5pm on a weekday. Then you'll understand English culture a little bit more.

I was up in Edinburgh recently, and found it to be completely to the contrary of everything I've heard about Scotland. The people were friendly, the public transport, while unreliable, was much more bearable than in England. The food was nice, as well, although I did put on a few more pounds than I should have done, what with all the fried and battered food they have up there (that deep-fried Mars Bar was a mistake!).

I do admit that the country challenge is one of the more difficult ones, but I know for a fact that there are active members who live in more than ten different nations. Oh well. Maybe I'll change up the Bingo sheet to spur some interest.

I'm from Southern California, and I have been here my entire life. My tan isn't very good, but I do know how to surf. There are probably a dozen different stereotypes that I fall into as well.

Well yeah, but you practically live here at OtakuBoards oh ancient one. =P Unlike newer members like Sabrina. I actually keep checking to see if you've changed things... but usually you haven't. >_> One of these days I'll get that bingo.

Anyway, obviously I'm in the US since that's where my mom is. She certainly didn't live in a different country when I was born. Other Utahan's have said it. We're a great place to visit if you like the outdoors. With five national parks, you could easily spend the entire summer visiting places and going on hikes. :catgirl:

I can't belive no one who has posted is from Louisina! It's the home of Gator Bites, lovely roadside swamps, Jazz festivals, Cajuns who you can barely understand what they're saying, New Orleans, and drunk rednecks!

I would have to agree that humidity makes a big difference seeing that I have to deal with it day in and day out. I was just far enough in Northern Louisiana to avoid any damage from Gustav. Anyway it's not too bad here, not that interesting but not too bad. This is just about the only state you will find an Aligator on the Interstate after a good rain. (true story!!!) I was born, raised, and still living in Louisiana. Kinda sucks though that we arn't home to many, if any, rockstars. Unlike England having Queen and Ozzy and many other of my favorites.

Yeah, Louisiana and Florida are infamous for having alligators on the interstates.

I never had anything too interesting on the Interstates when I lived in Texas. Well, anything alive. Once in Northern TX on I-35 near New Boston I kept seen dead armadillos. Then once on 190 in Killeen I had a tumbleweed roll infront of me. But still I bet nothing can beat an alligator.

PS glad you've survived the hurricane.

I am from the United States, and I currently reside in Florida, I just moved here three months ago...in the middle of the heat wave, damn the humidity. :grr: I come from Washington state from the capitol. I have visited japan, Hungary, Austria and Canada, I have been several places in the US. :annoyed: I am just trying to get settled down here, and get used to my work schedule...well if they would stop changing it on my every other week I may stand a chance.:pout:

Oh my. I never posted here. Obviously I'm from the U.S. Born and raised and still living in Detroit Michigan. Ghetto written all around me.. "coughs" Nah, people say Detroit's a nice place to stay, and honestly, I just don't believe that. (But I do believe if you can live here you can live just about anywhere) While Michigan is on the rebound for jobs and whatnot, we just don't have anything here to do, at least not as far as I can tell. We have a bunch of casino's which is not my scene, and we're known as Motown/Motor City (we're rebounding on that as well). We have the Pistons (who I can't stand for getting rid of Chauncey), Tigers (seem to be doing fairly decent) and Red Wings (I don't follow hockey at all). But that's about it.

I've been to Sandusky Ohio to go to Cedar Point quite a few times. I forgot what part of Ohio Kings Island is in, but I've been there as well. I've also been to Chicago, Ill to go to Six Flags, and then Avondale Arizona was the latest place I've been recently 2 years ago. Lived there for a month. I was gonna go there for school but there was a big mishap and ended up going there for nothing, but I suppose that was a much needed getaway.

As for out of the country, I've been to Canada and that was for Niagra Falls and Wonderland (I really need to go back there) That's probably as far out of the country I'll ever go. Other places I'd liked to visit would probably be California, New York (Probably not New York City), Philidelphia and probably another part of Arizona, perhaps either Phoenix or Flagstaff.

If your going to visit Arizona again I would suggest going to Flagstaff. Its nicer up there with more out doors activities. Phoenix is very congested right now. If you decide on Phoenix, you might want to make the trip in the winter and be a snow bird. The temperature is a bit cold in the mornings but warms up to be in the 70 and 80 during the day. Don't come to Tucson though cause you'll find nothing to do. At least with either Phoenix or Flagstaff there are lots of activities.

I live in New York City, NY, America.

I've lived in another state and other areas in New York too but nothing beats NYC. Theres just about everything you can imagine. The only problem is that driving in the city is a royal pain.

Yea, so I've heard. I think I'd really enjoy it there in the winter since I prefer snow compared to beaches. I'd like to attempt to snowboard at least once in my life. I'd like to visit Colorado in the winter as well...
