The stellenium.
An age of Lawlessness.
Where man wanders the stars
and might prevails over right.
This remote planet on the frontier
is no exception.

~ Lunar Knights Proloque

It has been 100 years since the paraSOL which had blocked the sunlight from reaching the planet was stopped. Vampires are still feuding with humans, though.

The vampires have New Culiacan under their rule once again. Humans are living there, but are the food supply for the vampires. They have three of the six terrenials. Most people fear them and only obey just to stay safe.

There are those who refuse to obey, though. They are from the Guild in Old Culiacan. They fight back using Solar guns. These solar guns only work when held by their rightful owner. However, there are only a handful of these "gunslingers" left, and most people are losing hope.

One day, the people of the frontier town of Acuna found a baby vampire. They weren't sure what to do. Some wanted it dead, some said it was a trap. They finally decided to raise it as their own.

14 years later, the girl was told the truth. The people gave her a dark sword they found when she was three. It was called Vanargand.

A month later, she found the terrenial of darkness, Nero. She now know the other vampires would want to get a hold of her.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay, a few things:
1. If you want to be a vampire, you have to be evil. Only exceptions are me and if you want to be half vampire.
2. Someone needs to take the terrenial of light, Toasty. To do so, you have to be human and own a solar gun. The solar guns have names too.
Ex: Ninja, Knight, Bomber, Witch.
3. You can make your own race because the planet has some alien inhabitants in the game.
4. Follow the rules.
5. No Godmodding. Do I have to say it?
The boy stood stock still, back to the wall. he dared not move a muscle, lest the nearby wolf caught movement out of the corner of its eye. "These vampires and their guard dogs," he thought to himself, carefully watching the animal round the corner. Suddenly, he decided the time was right. Pulling out one of his twin pistols, he jumped out into the open. "Eat Silver!" he yelled, firing for the back of the beast's head. The shot was perfect, but it was a huge mistake.
An entire legion of zombies was standing on the other side of the wall. Van froze for almost fifteen seconds before his natural instincts finally kicked in. Terror gripped the very core of his being as he ran for his life through the city streets. Suddenly, there was a dead end. Turning around, he noticed the undead creatures make an odd semicircular shape around him. A strange black object was floating elegantly through the night sky, coming down to land in the middle of the clearing. A tall, menacing, pale figure rose from the landing space.
?Welcome,? the vampire slyly drawled, ?you?re just in time for dinner! Of course, you look more suited to be a dessert, so I think I?ll allow you to sit back and enjoy my meal and your show for now.?
?You?ll never get away with this, Brahm!? smirked Van, ?I?m not the only one here, you know.?
Count Brahm smiled menacingly. His mouth grew gradually until a cold, piercing laugh filled the night air. ?Oh, you mean your friends here?? questioned the Count, gesturing towards a small huddle of zombies. The creatures dispersed, revealing a number of Van?s comrades bound and gagged. ?These were the dinner I was mentioning earlier, Lonestar!?
Van sprung to his feet and fired both pistols at the Count?s head. The shot would have been fatal, but he had used his last silver bullet on the wolf earlier. The count?s sinister laughter once again penetrated his ears.
?Damn, I can?t do anything!? thought Van, ?If only I could just distract the Count for even a second!?
?Van Lonestar, what is your wish??
?Who said that?? shouted Van nervously, ?don?t mock me, Brahm!?
?It is I that speaks, Van Lonestar, not the Count. What is your wish??
?I want to save them! I want to protect my friends and get out of here! Screw this mission, I want them to live!?
?Then raise your weapons and fire with all your heart!?
Van stood once again. Once again he raised both guns and fired both barrels aimed right between the Count?s eyes. Suddenly, twin bullets left the weapons, flying straight for the vampire?s head. These bullets appeared to be made of concentrated energy. The Count was barely able to dodge, but one bullet was able to completely destroy one of his horns.
?GRAAAH!? screamed the Count, clutching the stub of his horn, ?You?ll pay for this, Lonestar! I?ll hunt you down to the ends of the Universe for the sole purpose of your annihilation!?
?Well done, young gunslinger. Now we?d best be off. I imagine the Count doesn?t plan for you to escape unscathed after weakening him to such a degree.?
?I agree, let?s get out of here, Rayleigh,? replied Van.
Rayleigh gave Van a bewildered stare as he was being untied. ?I didn?t say anything, Van.?
?Who did then?? asked Van.
The floating Sunflower appeared in front of him. ?It was I, Van Lonestar.?
?Who the hell are you??
?I am Otenko, the Terrennial of Light,? responded the strange creature, ?Your desperation called me forth and fires of your very soul awakened the true potential of your Solar Gun, Ninja. You are worthy of bearing the name Van Lonestar, comrade of the Gunslinger?s Guild. Now come, it is time to join your fellows.?
"Van!"
"What is it, Otenko?"
The Terrennial materialized in front of the gunslinger. "The vampires have been on the move for a while now. We've received word that they may be planning a full-scale invasion of the Guild soon. You are needed on the front lines."
"Jeez," sighed Van, "Never a moment's rest around here. Ah, well. Let's get going, Otenko!"
"I don't think I like this Jameson!" Alexander's voice rang inside Jameson's head as he opened another door in the abandoned house. Jameson and his gang had heard that Dacaucus, a high-ranking vampire, was hiding out here. "Relax Alexander, it's mid-day. There's no way anyones awake.
As he walked into the room boldy, convinced there would not be any guards. A voice stopped him in his tracks. "Dacaucus, are your troops prepared for the assault?" The voice belonged to an unknown vampire. He must've been pretty high ranking for someone at Dacaucus' level to answer the way he did. "Y..Ye..Yes my lord. We're prepared and awaiting our signal. I've add...added a few more troops to my army since last we spoke."
Though Dacaucus was fishing for a complimant, none would come. "Good....don't make me regret my decision to allow you and your scum to enjoy the massacre."
Jameson slowly closed the door and turned towards the front door of the house. Waiting for him at the door was a large guard wolf, which had to have weighed close to 300 lbs. Fearing cutting loose with Cowbody would squash any chance of an escape he had. Jameson slowly began backing away from the black wolf. "Good boy...Good boy...how about a nice bone eh??? maybe an already dead one you have lying around?"
The sickening dead growl the wolf let out was enough to raise the hairs on Jameson's head. "Don't worry boy, I have just the thing for you." He slowly reached into his coat. Gripping one of the silver throwing knives he had, he whipped his hand out, snapping his wrist forward and sending the knive tumbling. A smile creased his face...it quickly diminished as the wolf deftly dodged the knife, causing it to be embedded into the wall.
"I think it may be time to run now boss." Alexander's voice rang. "Now when do I ever run away?" Jameson drew forth Cowbody and aimed it at the wolf. "Now dodge thi....ahhhh" he was cut off as he was hit from the side and sent flying into a wall. Sliding to the floor he looked up at his unknown assailant. It was dacaucus....Jameson tried to swallow and made a loud gulping sound, showing his fear.
"Jameson...Jameson...Jameson. How many times must you and your band of fools try and assassinate me? this must be the hundredth time. Well this time I assure you it will be your last." The vampire grabbed Jameson by the throat and lifted him into the air with one hand, drawing the other back and making a piercing weapon ready to gouge out Jameson's heart.
Suddenly the blacked out window beside the too burst open, filling the room with sunlight that shown directly on the vampire's arm. A defining scream pierced the walls as dacaucus dropped Jameson, who lept for the window as soon as he hit the floor. Outside two of his top officers waited with his horse. "Thanks Doc." Jameson said as he lept on his horse.
"Let's go finish him off!" Came the voice of his right hand Mel, who was known as Maverick to anyone other than Jameson. "No, let's get out of here. The bastards got more of an army than we thought." The three began riding off when they heard cries from behind. 20 men on horseback came riding from behind the house in pursuit of the trio. "Let's head back to the hide out." Doc yelled back as he began pulling away.
"You go back and get the troops ready for a fight. Mel and I are going to the guild...we have to warn them."
"We're gonna do WHAT!?" Mel twirled himself so he was sitting backwords on his horse and began firing vollies at their pursures. Though he was firing wildly he was hitting his targests...they started falling like rocks off their horses. Dead as could be.
"Hey boss they're humans....wait humans working for the vamps?" After hearing that, Jameson put Cowbody away and drew one of his backup pistols. He cut loose all six rounds...all six hitting their marks. Between the two men they managed to squeeze of 18 rounds and kill 16 of their pursuers. "Mel let's go. Lets see if we can't get them to chase us all the way to the guild...some proof. Maybe then they won't arrest us."
With that, the two whirled themselves in the direction of the guild and began a chase they hoped would lead them and their pursuers to the guild. And not to an early death....
Neige was almost ready to head out. "Damn this sunlight. I only leave it be for the sake of the humans, my family..." Neige was beginning to tear up. "No, I can't cry. I have to save the other terrennials. And not just for me, but for all the other humans of the world!"
"Nice speech, but shouldn't we get going?" said Nero in a sarcastic voice. "I hear you, Nero. I just have to grab a few things out of the storage box, in case I find any injured humans." Neige had replied to the sarcasm with her normal "Just have to do this" excuse.
Neige had finished taking the the few items she had in store and put them in her bag."Okay Nero! I'm ready!"
"Sigh... I'll never understand why you take an hour just to pack one bag..." Nero still didn't like her very much. "Where are we going to this time...?"
"I'm heading to the Guild. I want to see if they need any help."
"You're crazy. They'll kill you upon sight!"
"What makes you so... Oh. Right. That." Neige had remembered her being a vampire. "But I'm going there anyway."
"Sigh..." Nero sighed a lot when with her, more than he did when accompanying Lucian and Aaron, the two spoken of in an old legend.
It seemed like they had rode for hours. Their pursuers must've had orders to kill or not return because they were still behind them. "Dang boss, you must've really pissed old Dacaucus off." Mel smiled as he said this. Jameson had been after Daucausus for years, once he even blew his mansion completly to pieces in an attempt to kill the old vamp.
"Yeah, one thing I can't figure out is why..." Suddenly a man came around the corner gun pointed directly at the two. With the way he got the drop on them showed he was no rookie.
"Jameson Taylor" This is too good to be true.
Jameson pointed behind him at the 4 horsemen baring down on them. "These guys may be a little more up your alley, they're working for the vampire lord Dacausus. I'll help you get them to the guild if you don't arrest me, what do you say?"
The man was obviously annoyed and he wondered if he'd believe him. "Okay fine, but if you're lying to me. I promise you, it'll be your last."
As the three men began riding towards the guild, Jameson hollard at the new addition to the groupd. "hey what's your name anyways?"
(It's spelled "Hollered".)
Neige was on her way to the guild. She didn't care if she was fired upon, or even killed. All she wanted to do was help.
"Nero, why did you tag along with me?" Neige asked.
" You seem to be the reincarnation of Lucian."
"You mean the hero in that old legend? That's absurd!"
"Sigh... You just don't get it, do you? I told you that's not a legend. It actually happened."
"Whatever you say, Nero. Whatever you say..."
Every time he told her, she never listened. To her, it was folklore, and nothing more. Of course, the sword was mentioned in folklore as well, but it was real. Even Nero - also mentioned in folk tales - was real. She began to think maybe it did happen.
The legend spoke of two heroes who defeated the vampires and saved the world. One was called Lucian. He wielded the legendary Dark Sword Vanargand.
The other was called Aaron. He wielded a solar gun called Knight.
Both of them had a terrennial - Lucian was rumored to have Nero, and Aaron, Toasty.
"It's Van, Van Lonestar. And against my better judgement, you've got yourself a deal, Taylor."
Jameson quickly got ahold of his instinct to punch Van for the disrespectful use of his last name. "Alright, then. So we ride to the Guild then we arrest 'em, right?"
"To hell with that," smirked Van, "Watch and learn." Van snapped on his goggles and whipped out Ninja. Four shots were fired in quick succession, disarming all four gunmen. "Now's the fun part. You and your friend here get help me nab those horses. I'm sure the Guild won't mind a few new transport animals. Let's go."
The three men began to ride towards their pursuers. Three startled subordinates were clotheslined right off of their steeds. The fourth jumped off and began to run.
"I've got this one," muttered Jameson, aiming Cowboy at the back of the runner. The shot grazed the man's arm, but it was enough pain to hinder him.
"Wow, that shot sucked. You sure you're Jameson Taylor?"
"Shut up, moron. I wasn't trying to kill him."
The three men, their four prisoners and their seven steeds arrived at the Guild not long after. An angered Rayleigh was waiting for them.
"What were you thinking, Lonestar? Who are these no-names you have tied up and why isn't that Jameson punk in the ropes with 'em?!"
"These guys were pursuing the outlaw here. Apparently they're working for Dacaucus. Don't bother the mirror check or anything, I'm pretty sure they're human."
"Alright, Lonestar. We'll take 'em in to questioning. Now tie up Jameson!"
"Can't do that, Rayleigh. I cut him a deal and these two helped me take down the other four. Besides, check out these nice new horses they helped me bring in," Van finished jokingly.
"Fine, but these two are being put on constant watch all the while they're here at the Guild," fumed Rayleigh, "Now get back out there and defend the hideout!"
"Fine, fine," shrugged Lonestar, "Hey, where's Toasty, anyway?"
"I'm right here, and you are not going to believe this," panted the Terrennial, "I sensed the presence of another Terrennial nearby. I went to investigate and I found him. Oh, how are you, Alexander? No, it wasn't you, though it has been a while."
"Indeed it has," replied Alexander.
"We should enjoy the weather together sometime, catch up a litt-"
"Would you get on with it?" snapped Van.
"Oh, right," said Otenko, "Anyway, there is another Terrennial in the area. It's Nero, and he's bringing along a young girl."
"What's the problem with that?" asked Rayleigh.
"Well I guess it's not that serious," muttered Toasty sarcastically, " after all, she's just an Immortal."
Rayleigh's smile filled Jameson's blood with ice. "Looks like it's time for you to earn your keep Taylor. You and Maverick are going to help Lonestar deal with this immortal."
"I have a better idea for ya Rayleigh old boy, If you'll grant me and my men pardon's for our....mischivious deads. I can promise you 50 guns, all well trained vamp killers."
Rayleigh looked at Taylor questioningly. "I'll promise you they won't be arrested on the spot, how's that sound?" Knowing Rayleigh's reputation as a hardass guildsmaster. Jameson knew that was probably the best thing, truth be told he needed the guild. His gang got a lot of his ammunition from his inside men smuggling things from the guild to the hideout.
"Mel, go back and get Doc and the others. Tell them we're going to war. Don't worry about bringing all the "special" ammo. Just bring the normal stuff, we'll use the guilds silver." Mel only nodded and headed towards the stables to get his horse.
"What do you think Alexander? About this vamp.?" Alexander revealed himself and looked at Toasty. "What do you think Toasty? I don't know about you, but I haven't seen Nero in well over ahundred years.?
"Me neither, what do you make of the immortal?"
"Well Lonestar, I think we're gonnna have to go check it out for ourselves."
Neige walked toward the entrance. "Hello? I came to deliver some supplies. I bought these with my own personal money. If you want me to leave, just say so, and I'll be on my way."
"Sigh... You never know when to stay home, do you?" Nero said.
"Oh, be quiet, Nero! At least I delivered the supplies."
"I know that there are two other terrennials in there."
"What!? Two terrennials!? Are you sure?"
"Positive."
"Well then, I guess I'll just wait here. At least until they respond."
As Von and Jameson walked out the main entrance, Jameson immediateally saw the female vamp and froze, Von followed in suit.
Suddenly something appeared at her side. From the distance they were at Jameson couldn't quite make out what it was. Suddenly Alexander and Toasty both appeared. "Hey Ali, what's going on?" Alexander ignored him and looked at Toasty. "Hey look it's Nero. Common boss we have to go say hi."
"Say hi huh?" Jameson put his hand on Cowboy and slowly started making his way towards the female vampire. He could here a click from behind, apparently Von felt the same bout the vampire being so close. Terrenial or not, they had to be ready.
Jameson got within shot distance from her and pulled Cowboy, lining up his shot and at the same time yelling at the vampire. "What business do you have here vamp? And if you're working for Dacaucus I've got a message for him" Jameson cocked the hammer and waited for a response.
"Stand down, Taylor. She's just a kid. Besides, Toasty and Alexander don't seem to have a problem with her."
"You're gonna stop calling me by my last name, Van. And who made you boss?" Jameson fumed, holstering his weapon.
"I'm boss because you're the one who's this close," Van gestured with his fingers, "To landing yourself in a nice, cozy cell six feet below ground level with one tiny window and rotten Solar Nuts and water for meals. I'll go ahead and call you Jameson, but the fact remains that it's technically my job to get you behind bars and I'm gonna get chewed out if I can't figure out a new way to justify your freedom every seven hours. I'd recommend you play along."
Toasty returned. "It's alright, she's one of us."
"Funny, she looks pretty damn undead to me," quipped Van.
"That's because she is," replied Toasty.
"Yes," continued Alexander, "She was apparently raised by humans and given that sword."
"Nero believes she is the reincarnation of Lucian, the vampire hunter of legend."
"It isn't a legend, Toasty. You should know that more than anyone else."
Nero and the vampire girl had approached them without much notice. "The legend is completely true," continued Nero, "Toasty was the terrennial of light who fought beside the other vampire hunter, Aaron. Alexander, you were there too, if I'm not mistaken."
"And I suppose this kid plans to help kill off her own kind as a Vampire Hunter herself, eh?" smirked Van.
"Think of it this way," replied Neige, "Don't humans fight wars and kill each other all the time? I plan to kill vampires who enslave and oppress. The others will be spared without much trouble."
"Well that's all well and good, but I don't think Rayleigh is gonna let me drag a miniature vampire back to the Guild alive without a fight," said Van.
"I'm being pursued. They know about me and I need shelter right away."
"Oh, hell. You just had to play that card, didn't you? Alright," sighed Van, "Let's get back to the Guild. Rayleigh's gonna have my head."
Neige brought in the supplies. "I hope I can stay with you. I'm really lonely these days." She looked towards Toasty, then towards Alexander. "If they agree with Nero, then I guess I have no choice but to believe him. I promise I won't cause any trouble. Just tell me what to do, and I'll take care of it!"
"Vamps killing vamps, if there were only more like you." Jameson said with a smile as he looked at Neige. He looked towards Alexander with a smile, "Reincarnation of Aaron huh? This could get interesting."
"Well, its not up to me at all. But I'm sure old Rayleigh won't mind." Suddenly as if on que, Rayleigh stepped out of the main entrance with a look of terror on his face. "Taylor, how long do you think it'll take for your men to get here? We broke one of the vamps familiars and it looks like they're coming tonight."
"Tonight!?" Jameson looked at Van "What do you think? My men will be here by nightfall. Do you think we should be thinking about a....pre-emptive strike?"
"You're going to help them, aren't you?" said Nero.
"Of course. I'll do the best I can to help them."
"For his reincarnation, you're the opposite of Lucian in almost all ways."
"I know. Let's just get prepared in case." Neige pulled out Vanargand, and prepared herself for a battle.
Jameson smiled as he heard the bugle in the distance. "Van, want to tell Rayleigh my men are almost here?. And Neige, do you have a horse? I think we need to get a move on." Jameson had no interest in being the leader. But something had to be done, if the vamps. attacked at nightfall, the guild would be laid to ruins.
"Neige, they're your people. Can you think of anywhere nearby, a cave, house or anything that would house enough for an invasion? I know Dacaucus' mansion is holding a few, but not even close to enough men to try and take over the guild."
Jameson swung himself onto his horse and waited for Van to return, and for Neige to answer.
Van rounded the corner with two fresh horses and handed one off to Neige. "Okay, I figure we have about four or five hours until dark fall to find the vamps..." Jameson was cut off by the sound of a quick approaching horse.
It was Mel, and boy was he bloodied. As he near'd the trio, jameson realized it wasn't his blood he was covered in. "Boss," He paused to pant, the ride had taken a lot out of him, "vamps familiars attacked the base. There was about 200 of them, everyone's dead. The only way I survived was by hiding under some bodies till they dispersed. Being alone I could take our shortcut, but they had to go around the gorge. They'll be here any..."
Suddenly Mel dropped to the ground, a large hole in his back. "Mel....MEL!" Jameson jumped off his horse, rolled the man over and lifted his head. There was no breath, Jameson dropped his head as he thought about all the things Mel had taught him over the years.
Van suddenly tackled Jameson as something whizzed over them. "Taylor get down you stupid S.O.B." Rolling to their feet Jameson could at once see the perp. A man perched on top of a cliff, about 700 yards away was pointing a rifle at the group.
"Quick, let's get inside" Neige cried as another came and dropped Jameson's horse. The group ran inside as Rayleigh was coming out to see what the comotion was. After seeing the man lying dead and the shooter in the distance, he motioned them all inside and grabbed Jameson.
"Taylor you sonofabitch, what the hell is this?" He slammed Jameson up against the wall. "It's not me, that guy is one of the ones who killed off my men." The thought really sank in after he spoke it aloud. "It looks like the men working for the vamps are starting the assault, probably going to keep it up until nightfall when we're tired and weak.
Rayleigh produced a large caliber rifle from a room next too the group. "I'm going to get a group of men on the roof, you guys take some men and find a place to cut them off. We need to take these guys out."
"Okay Van, out of all of us you're the most familiar with the area. Where's a good place to set up an ambush. With so many men coming, we're going to need something good."
Neige lowered her head. "Wow... He's... dead..." She had never seen a human die in front of her. She had the urge to lick the blood off his body, but held it back. "I wish there was something I could do about his death, but I can't think of anything..." She was silent for a moment. "I can tell that you're angry and sad at the same time... What do you want me to do? I'll do whatever you tell me. I promise."
