[COLOR="Navy"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"]She punched him lightly in the chest and gave him a small smile.
"Guys are supposed to make the move , not the girls."
She pulled him down and gave him a lingering kiss pulling him against her as she leaned on the wall behind her.
"We need to get ready."
She turned around and finished getting ready, slinging her quiver of arrows over her shoulder, hooking her sword to her back with her bow laying ontop of it all within quick reach. She was about to move back into the seating when the jet lurched forward and threw her into the closet.
"Looks like we really are in a hurry."
She pulled her self forward and past Jarvis giving his hand a gentle squeeze, she made her way to the front seeing that everyone was getting ready as the sun set next to the jet, seeing this she felt a shiver of panic go up her spine.
"How long til we get there?"
"Five minutes."
She turned and looked at the others as they gave her a strange look, she met Jarvis' eyes as he came from the back, the smile on his face slipped when he saw her face.
"What's wrong?"
"The sun is setting, we'll be there in five minutes....everyone, this may get alittle hairy, stay on your toes. No one mess up and everyone stay together. No on leaves the group you guys hear me?"
They all gave an affirmative nod and she looked past them to Jarvis and gave him a weak smile. It seemed like no time at all when the jet landed, she hopped off and looked around, the airport covered in shadow and in no time at all she could feel eyes on her .
"We have company already."
She let her skin get hot and let the fie in her burn and light up the landing pad around them, it was than that she saw that they were surrounded and were being stared at by hungry eyes. She looked back as the others were getting off the plane.
"Everyone, stay together and watch each others backs."
She felt Jarvis stand behind her, reaching behind her she took his hand and gave it a squeeze holding it tightly.
"Lets, get to work guys."
She surround the group in a ring of fire and pulled her broad sword off her back getting ready for a fight.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[Drizzt Do'urden]

The silence was quite possibly the most uncomfortable Ashton had ever felt. He scanned the surrounding area, trying to locate any signs of Chaos, but for some reason it escaped his mental grasp.

It possibly had something to do with the body language Jargis and Alia were speaking in, of course Ashton had no problem with interoffice relationships. it was just that their timing couldn't have been worse, they made you weak, and too protective of that one person to act correctly.

"Boy, first I thought it was the flames making me hot, but turns out its you guys heating the circle up." Ashton smiled as Alia shot him a "shut up or die" look.

Suddenly the smile faded, there was a growl in the darkness. Something was stalking them, something angry. Ashton turned his attention to the area again, this time picking up a distinct figure, though he couldn't get a lock on it.

"What do you see Ashton?" Alia's fire was lighting things up good, but even it had its limits. "There's a few of umm Al, they're fast and I can't get a bead on them." Ashton drew his Halberd, the flames reflected off the blade, it gave Ashton chills when he thought about using it against chaos. "They always muck up my blade." he said as he dropped into a ready stance.

[Deadpool]

[color=darkred]Jarvis touched the sapphire on his cross then held out his hands as a blue glow appeared in them then took the shape of Sentiel and Guardian, his two desert eagles with holy water shells.

"Cheer up this cant be that bad" He said with a smirk

Ashton glanced his direction a sec. "Your sense of humor is weird"

Jarvis gave a small laugh as he took his normal stance behind Alia. "There is one good thing about being close with someone." Suddenly three eaters came running towards Alia and Jarvis jumping through the flames. Alia dropped low bringing her hands to her hip holding the blade parallel to the ground the sprang forward impaling the middle eater right as Jarvis fired two shot each hitting their mark on the other two in the head. "your styles work in harmony" Alia sprang back and took her stance again in front of him. He gently kissed her on the back of the head. "that ends todays class" [/color]

[Ol' Fighter]

Mallione was curious from the start about Jarvis and Alia and he couldn't help but crack a small smile as he saw to two fumble away from eachother with beet-red faces. It gave him a warm feeling inside for a moment.
"Getting a little to sensitve Mallione..." he said to himself. He watched their movements as they made quick work of the eaters.
"Uh oh...do I see Bonnie and Clyde?" Mallione said with a chuckle as he smugly walked off the plane's steps with his signature coffee in hand.
"Another coffee eh Mallione?" Ashton said laughing while gently twirling his Halberd.
Mallione slowly lifted the coffee from the cup and began seperating it into little beads of liquid. He then did a rather quick motion with his hands and with near peerless speed the beads bolted threw the earth around him making holes the exact size.
"It's the perfect weapon for a guy like me...gives me the boost of energy I need to be surronded by people like you friend" he replied extracting the liquid coffee beads from the earth back into his cup.

[COLOR="Navy"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Alia turned quickly to the two who were talking and saw with out surprise it was Mallione.
"You guys, as much as I wish this were a vacation, we're slightly in the middle of something!"
As she said this a vampire dove from the shadows and tackled her to the ground, she growled and punched him in the face,the vampire reared up giving her the chance to kick him in the stomach launching him backward where she promptly set him on fire. She looked up at the others with a 'I told you so' look.
"Can we get back to bussiness now?"
She looked up at Jarvis who gave her a worried look.
"I'm fine, lets just do our job."
She created a ring of fire around them and readied her self for the wave that was bound to come.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[Deadpool]

[color=darkred]Jarvis just shook his head as Alia blew a few stray strands of hair out of her face. He went to say something but she cut him off.

"No smart comments" He gave a little smirk then spun around and put his back to her. "They are just waiting. We know they dont like fire but it doesnt stop them. They are waiting for something"

Alia regripped her weapon as she watched the eaters pacing back and forth outside the ring. "It doesn't make sense" Ashton glanced around real fast. "Light"

Jarvos glanced at him as Ashton pointed to the last tip of the sun. "tonights a night of the new moon so there is none, i bet they are waiting for the sun to disappear and let Alia waste her engery trying to keep the area lit with her fire so they can have the darkenss on their side"

"Makes sense to me. So let's delay that advantage" He pulled the hammers back and let loose each shot hitting its mark as he aimed at whatever eaters happened to be cloest at that time[/color]

[COLOR="Navy"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Alia growled and pulled her energy level back some and leaped to the edge of the ring, hearing Jarvis call out her name she pushed the pull at her heart aside and took a deep breath as her feet hit the concrete on the other side of her fire which she kept alive desperate to keep her team safe. She grunted as she was hit on the side by a vampire thirsty for her blood, it's dark red eyes let her know it wanted her hate as well.
"Damn Eatters!"
She swung her sword hard and smiled triumphantly as the creatures head rolled to the side. She sat up and growled as two more replaced the one she had just dispatched.
"Alia!"
She threw off the vampires hitting them both between the eyes with a well aimed arrow.
"Stay in that fucking fire Jarvis, that goes for all of you! Stay in there!"
She heard Jarvis growl and apologized inwardly for upsetting him even if it was for his own good, at the moment she was their most valuable weapon against the vampires and eatters. She jumped back as a vampire landed in front of her, its formidable size making her stumble back slightly.
"ALIA!"
"Stay there damnit, I can handle it!"
She took a fighting stance with her sword and swung downward as the best lunged for her and smiled smugly as it's arm fell to the ground.
"See I can-"
Her sentence was cut short as the arm reformed and grabbed her by the throat.
"Shit!"
Covering her body in fire she gritted her teeth and felt her heat start to consume her.
"Let me go!"
Pulling an arrow from her quiver she jammed it into the monstrous vampires arm and hit the ground with a huff of breath as it roared in pain. Turning on her she felt unimaginable pain lance through her as it's large fist connected with her stomach. She tasted blood as it filled her mouth.
"Son of a bitch..."
She looked up and back flipped as it punched the ground where she had been a moment before. She looked up and straightened her back standing tall, pulling her i-pod from her pocket she blocked out Jarvis as he yelled at her from the fire, turning she looked at him as he ran to the edge of the fire, turning up the heat he had to put up his arms to protect his face from the heat she was emitting. They all knew that when her i-pod came out she was serious and would sooner die than quit. She turned back, her music covering up the sounds of everything else, her body temp rising on it's own making the circle of fire protecting her friends get more intense. She gripped her sword with one hand and charged in the fight with the large vampire, the flames so thick and strong the others couldn't see through them. It seemed life forever when they started to dwindle down and the heat finally became bearable, Jarvis searched for Alia as well as the others as they fought off the braver vampires venturing to close to the flames. Hearing a sound that made his heart stopped he saw through the fire as Alia was held a few feet off the ground by the large vampire, both sporting hits that were flowing with blood. He threw her to the ground where she struggled to get up, getting her feet under her she looked up as he charged at her, sending a ball of fire into his face they watched as he ran through it and slammed his fist into her face throwing her back into the ring of fire to hit the concrete in the middle of them hard. She groaned and lay there covered in abrasions and bruises, coughing up some blood she wiped it away and sat up looking through the flames as the monster came closer.
"Okay, I might need a hand."
They looked at her as she stood unaware of the cuts and gashes that flowed red life onto the ground from her body. She took a deep breath, dug down into her soul and hit the heat that was there and tapped into it, her fire turned blue and white hot as she began to use more energy than they all knew she had.
"We have an hour to finish this before it gets dark and they triple in strength, don't goof around."
She picked up her sword and shook off some dust from her clothes standing straight and tall not ready to give up, proving to the others why they had made her the team leader.

[color=darkred]Jarvis stood over her staring down into her eyes. "Jarvis i dont need your comments" His face didnt move or show any expression, but his eyes said everything. "There is a reason we are a team Alia...that means work together"

Alia frowned. "I know Jarvis stop lecturing me"

"Not lecturing you, saving you. You are the leader because you would rather keep us alive then yourself, but as a team one does not going running off and getting themselves near death trying to save others who as a team can cooperate and manage a lot bettter"

Alia turned around to face him. "I know that but.." Jarivs grabbed both her wrists and but her hands around his neck then bit her wrists causing her to drawn in her energy to block out the pain but due to her hands being around Jarvis' neck she pulled out from him as well. He dropped to one knee as she tried to stop his fall. "Jarvis you idiot why did you do that?"

"Cause you would die and i love you" His reply was short as he barely had enough strength to keep himself up on one knee. "Ashton, Mallione, ya'll know what to do. The fire is about to go out keep the advancing one at bay. Ashton try to find the one that is passing the orders then highlight him so i can take him out"[/color]

[COLOR="DarkSlateBlue"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Alia let him hit the landing pad none to gently making him look up at her.
"You'll sit there and watch for being stupid. I can handle my energy level, I don't need yours, it's to chaotic, I thought we were warned about that."
He looked up at her frowning.
"You can gimme that look all you want, now its your turn to relax and regain some energy."
She spun her sword in her hand and looked at the others.
"Ashton, Mallione, we need to wrap this up so we can get to the underground HQ here asap."
They nodded and took their place, it was sudden but she saw what happened either way. It was more like a shock wave than anything Alia could describe and when it hit them they fell to the ground unable to move. At the same time her fire dissipated and the vampires surrounded them but did not attack. Alia growled as she tried to push her self up enough to create more fire but as she tapped into the bright spot above her heart she found it cold as ice and unable to be broken apart.
"What the hell?"
She looked up as a pair of black boots stepped into her point of view. She looked up as much as she could and frowned as a young man looked down at her.
"I caught them master. Now what?"
A deeper voice came from behind them, older and more cruel than anything she had ever heard.
"We will take them with us and see what there is to find out about who sent them to destroy our vampires and our eatters. "
She growled more as she tried to regain her feet and stand, when she did she felt the young man's boot catch her across the face.
"Bastard!"
She looked over at Jarvis and shook her head, the young man bent down next to each of them and gave them a shot in the back of their necks. When she woke up she was in small metal room, tapping into her power she tried to melt the room around her and screamed as a shock went through her body. Hitting the floor she looked around realizing she was alone, going to the vent she called through it and was relived when her team called back to her. She spun around as her door opened and the young man from before entered.
"Who the hell are you?"
His eyes began to glow red and she could tell he was taken over by a chaos.
"We want to know who sent you and why."
"Screw you."
She hit the floor hard as he slammed his fist into her face.
"You'll talk, eventually you'll talk."
She looked up at him and frowned as his nails grew in length and turned black. She took a step back as he moved forward, grabbing her around the throat with one hand he shoved his nails into her stomach smiling.
"You have 24 hours till you change, lets see you get out of this."
She grunted as she hit the floor, blood seeping slowly through her shirt.
"Damn..."
She watched helpless as he walked out laughing.
"Guys, no one talk to him about anything, look around for a weak point, you have 24 hours to get us all out of here, after that...leave me and get the hell out of here. Jarvis, after 24 hours, your in charge. Start looking."
She stood with mild difficulty and began to look around her room, running her hands over the walls looking for a weak spot.

Ashton couldn't believe what he was hearing. Alia resigning to defeat already? Ashton's power was warped, most likely from that stuff moving from his veins.

Ashton ran to the cell door and yelled out to the rest of the team, specifically to Alia and Jarvis. "What is up with you people!?" The emotions had been eating away at Ashton ever since Jarvis tried to "sacrifice" himself for the team. "Why are you all ready to kill yourselves to 'save' everyone?" The anger in Ashton welled up until he could almost feel his powers, the raw emotion had been enough to force them, maybe not free, but bring them closer to the surface.

Just then the cell door flew open, causing Ashton to have to jump back to avoid being slammed by it.

Standing in the doorway was a young looking man with glowing red eyes, it was apparent that he was being possessed by chaos, which was never good. "You need to settle down young one. You're going to make me cut your throat out to keep you quiet."

With that the man turned and walked out, the door slamming shut behind him. "God I hate eaters" Ashton sighed as the man closed.

Taking his advice, not because he was worried about the eather, Ashton had been prepared to die from the moment he signed up, but because he thought he could concentrate hard enough and break the barrier the injection had put on his mind.

Ashton sat quietly, lost in his thoughts. There was no way Alia was sacrificing herself, not as long as he breathed.
