Toy Princess

Firstly I finished the pencils for this image as a Birthday present to myself.
This was one of the first things I started when I first got my tablet, my friend http://paper-domino.deviantart.com/ and I took on an art challenge to each come up with an original character (he came up with this: http://paper-domino.deviantart.com/art/OC-Wentworth-75208915) and I wanted to give my character a unique ability. Whenever her blood comes into contact with a toy it reacts with it, in some cases making the object self aware and conscious or simply turning it into a weapon that can actually do damage, for instance a water gun shoots acid, a toy light sabre actually becomes a real laser etc etc.
I drew the main image quite a few months ago but I never bothered to show it anywhere because I knew that it wasn't finished without a background, which I was determined to finish tonight so that it would finally be completed before my birthday at midnight, I'm pretty happy.

Psh, figures that nobody would bother to post. Losers.

Anyway, I really enjoy your art style. The amount of detail, and the clean lines is wonderful, and I like the idea behind this piece aswell. I really want that light sabre.

By the way, happy belated birthday! You and my brother both share the same birth date, although he's three years younger.

Thanks, I absolutely love clean lines, scratchy lineart annoys me more than it probably should.
Arg, I feel old, I wish I was 3 years younger (actually I wish I was 7 years younger, lol, if I'm going to wish might as well wish big).

Freaking awesome, I love your style of drawing as well. I think the proportions look good and everything :3 YOU MUST COLOR IT :)

I just think that the background on the left of the girl is a little too busy. Like, do you want the girl to be the main focus of the picture? For me, my eyes keep darting to that sign with all the locations on it, instead of looking at the girl. Like maybe if there weren't words there? But otherwise its awesome, great perspective as well
