OBtv has granted us one season of Magic Hat Rabbits to see how well it does. They've provided us with the following episode titles for the first 10 episodes. A season is 24 episodes long so if the first 7 episodes work well you guys can come up with the next 17 titles. Keep in mind that these are just episode names and the people who post during that episode decide how they want to interpret it.
EPISODE GUIDE - Magic Hat Rabbits: The Legend of the Gate to Beyond

The World of Rabbica
Assembling a Team
No Money for Lunch
Sly's Solution
Riddle Me This
A Different Kind of Favor
Monkey See, Monkey Destroy

If the show is "successful" we can do another season. At that point I'll re-open sign-ups to let people leave and join the show. All through the production of the show (when we're posting in the Theater) we'll be randomly creating minor characters to use in the show. If you end up creating a character that you like you can post a sign-up sheet (with any info you feel is necessary) here and we can talk about working them into future episodes whether they be a villain, a hero or a neutral party. The first thing we need to talk about is the villain. I think it'd be wise if we came up with an animal first then went from there. What about a wolf pup or iguana? Or maybe one of you would like to make your character the villain? Thoughts?
Raiha
Our villain should be perhaps a rabbit gone evil or perhaps a Komodo dragon or monitor. Iguanas are too lazy to strike fear into my heart. I'd like my character to be a spook, morally ambivalent. Or trying to be good but occasionally evil, you know, like Bruce in Finding Nemo. Rabbits are friends! Not food!
The Spectacular Professor
I think if we're going to go for a wolf or similar villain, s/he should be an adult. Maybe they have been searching for the portal for years and have matured to the point where they can't escape Rabbica through a hat because of size, which would present some good motivation for evil. I like the sound of an evil bunny, too. That can go anywhere. He could be sinister, he could be elegant, he could even be one of those ones that are never taken seriously. There's a lot of possibilities there. So my vote is pending between those two, personally. If someone else comes up with something else, I'd be cool with that too.
Orcus
Our villain could be possibly be a horrible creation of magic gone wrong. Perhaps a magician on Earth got too cocky with his abilities and decided to try making two animals disappear at once, like two puppies or cats or something along those lines. The trick appeared to go off without a hitch, but when the animals came out on the other side, they were fused together. Then the villain would be a Cerberus type beast, seeking revenge for it's deformity. But if that's too bizarre, then I second Ace's idea about an embittered and aged wolf.
DeLarge
I get the feeling that this show could benefit from maybe having a number of villainous "henchmen" who appear throughout the series - maybe a wolf pup could be one, maybe a weird dog/cat hybrid could be another - but all under the control of one main villain. As for who that should be, I like the idea of a bunny gone evil, perhaps with Ace's idea of him (or her) being an adult, having been stuck in Rabbica for so long they have a reason to dislike the group. I think that having a villain with access to magic could open up more avenues than one without. Although a magic-less evil mastermind could present quite an interesting challenge to the wily Sly... Ellerby
Oh I'm so glad all of you are participating actively! Makes me so happy. :animesmil All these are great ideas. The potential background stories of all these guys is incredible. That's why I think it would be cool if we tied them all together somehow. Using DeLarge's idea of having a bunch of henchmen and one main guy, why don't we all create one henchmen for the purposes of the story and then together we can decide which one of those 5 are best suited to be the main villain (and then we can tweak the character to our liking before we begin) and the other 4 henchmen will just be support villains. Feel free to create your own sign-up sheet but here's one I've just thrown together. Also has very sharp claws and a whip-like tail. History: Kassandra, or Kass as she prefers to be called, is an evil, soulless monster, pulled through the hat when she was an infant and forced to grow up in Rabbica for far too long. Her unpleasant meal habits, which she made no effort to conceal made her an easy sell to the more evil creatures of the world. Additional Info: Has an innate hatred of birds. The Spectacular Professor
Name: Baron Lupus von Kessler Age: 38 (in dog years) Gender: Male Appearance: A large, somewhat lanky wolf. Though he dresses well, he has a tendency to slouch and shifty eyes which give him a slightly sinister air. Powers and Abilities: Through blood transfusions and various alchemical experiments, he has mastered a few of the more basic spells of the magic of rabbit-kind. his alchemical skills alone are formidable, and he is very agile. His teeth and claws are nothing to laugh at, either. History: At the tender age of 8, Lupus was suddenly whisked away from his pack and used in a bizarre experimental magic show. He was dropped into Rabbica and completely forgotten about after the magician was arrested for some more dangerous tricks. For a few years, Lupus was friendly and even helpful to the other inhabitants of Rabbica. His social status is partially due to this time of his life. Still, he longed for nothing more than to see his pack again. He searched for a way out for years, but to no avail. During this time, he became embittered with the other residents of the land, especially the rabbits. He tried all kinds of strange and taboo alchemical experiments trying to gain the magic of the rabbits, thinking he would be able to use it to find the legendary portal, finally succeeding in creating novice spells. He was shunned by the others for these experiments and is feared and alienated to this day. Additional Info: He's somewhat well-spoken and even charming at first. This facade was what helped him gain blood for the transfusions. There are also rumors of his primal instincts kicking in, causing some rabbits and birds to "disappear."
Ellerby
This is looking great, guys. Raiha, I can really see Kass being a good villain (maybe even the main one). Ace, I really love Baron Lupus von Kessler but I think that he would make a great mentor for the characters to meet in the story as opposed to an enemy. What do you think? Something about a wise old wolf running illegal alchemic experiments in a cave in the middle of nowhere just screams mentor.

Actually, I kind of like the idea too. If at all possible though, I think it would be great if we still have some kind of tension. Maybe those dietary rumors keep someone up at night or something. DeLarge
Name: Bartoch Age: 19 Gender: Male Appearance: A small, scraggly-looking badger - his black-and-white fur is in disarray, and his eyes are crimson. His yellow teeth are incredibly sharp, as are his wickedly curved claws. He looks fairly weak, but in reality his muscles are tightly coiled, making him strong and agile. Powers and Abilities: Although he has no powers, Bartoch is an expert in bomb-making. He finds any kind of receptacle he can - whether it is a hollowed-out acorn or nut of some sort - and fills it with his own special concoction of chemicals which he creates in his lab, inside a hollowed-out tree trunk. He has a bandoleer of sorts around his body on which he stores all these explosives, and he either throws them or plants them in well-calculated positions when in a fight. He can also give you a nasty cut with his claws or his teeth. History: Part of a fringe magic act which tried using different animals in place of rabbits, Bartoch was dropped into Rabbica just a few years ago, at the age of 16. He was never particularly sane, but being thrust into this new and unexpected environment pushed him over the edge. He found a tree trunk, hollowed it out with his own claws, and created a lab in which he experimented for a number of years, creating the most dangerous concoctions of explosives he could manage. He heard a legend of the Gate to Beyond, and the idea that he had been stuck in Rabbica when there was a way back pushed his sanity even further. He vowed to stop anyone who tried to find the Gate, using his combination of explosives and melee attacks. Additional Info: Bartoch's sanity has declined to such an extent that he often talks to himself, and sometimes lapses into using different voices to talk to himself - that way he thinks it's better, as he can pretend to himself he is having a conversation. Orcus
Name: Aura and Aaron Age: 7 and 7 (in dog years) Gender: Male and Female Appearance: A “massive” double-headed-sharp-fanged-red-eyed Siberian husky, Aura and Aaron is the most ferocious looking fool in Rabbica. Powers and Abilities:

Bad Breath- Also known as Heat Stroke, Bio Haze, and the Revulsion Mist. It’s well known that most dogs in the human world are notorious for horrible breath, and in extreme conditions, said bad breath was more than likely to knock out anyone unfortunate enough to inhale it. It’s also common knowledge that the residue left behind from inexperienced magic “gone wrong” smells rancid. And just what happens when these two elements meet? Thanks to an unlucky last meal and a bumbling magician, our heroes just might be assaulted by the most powerful combination of funk ever to plague the universe.
What sharp teeth you have- Of course, on the off chance that Aura and Aaron hasn’t been knocked out by it’s own signature technique, and that it isn’t bickering with itself, it is entirely plausible that it might be able to tear a creature apart with it’s fangs and teeth. That remains an untested theory, however.
History: Born as twin Siberian Huskies, Aura and Aaron were adopted by the Clown family. This particular clan of Clowns had grandiose hopes and dreams for the dogs, hoping that one day they would be prized Clown animals. So, from the very first day they were brought home, they were trained in the art of comedy, along with the Clown’s son, Bobbles. Though the Huskies remained happy throughout most of their childhood- and who wouldn’t be, being raised by the Clowns- that changed when turmoil arose in the household. Young Bobbles Clown didn’t want to follow in his parents footsteps. He wanted to become a magician. Bobbles practiced his magic more furtively than his pie-throwing abilities, and his parents began to feel distanced from their son. This rift became apparent in Aura and Aaron as well; Aura believed Bobbles should follow in his parents large footsteps and take up the family horn, whereas Aaron believed that Bobbles should follow his own dreams and become the greatest magician of all time, no matter what the odds. Mr. and Mrs. Clown would give Aura bowling pins to leave on Bobbles‘ bed, and Aaron would take the pins and bury them, placing a magic hat and wand where the pins had been. This tug of war went on for a year, until finally Bobbles made his decision. And, it was the wrong one. He decided to go against his parents wishes and performed at a birthday party as a magician- and he was horrible. Roses exploded from the front of his new shoes, never-ending ropes of cloth tied his legs together, and angry doves burst from his sleeves and attacked him relentlessly. In a last ditch effort to save the performance, he attempted the ace in the whole for all magicians- the disappearing animal trick. Fortunately for him, it worked! Unfortunately for his pets, Aura and Aaron were left stranded in Rabbica as a new fused being- aptly named “Aura and Aaron”- lost, confused, and bickering. They were found by “The Master”, however, and were sheltered, and now serve “The Master’s” each and every whim, whether it be for good or evil. Additional Info: Aura and Aaron is by no means inherently evil or mean, simply loyal to “The Master“. This lack of substantial evil, coupled with it’s constant arguing, love for theatrics and comedy, and tendency to knock itself unconscious, makes Aura and Aaron a depressingly incompetent henchman. +++ OOC: This was a lot funnier the first time I wrote it... Now it seems like it's got too much excess baggage. Hate it when my internet explorer shuts down in the midst of spontaneous genius, haha.
