ChibiHorsewoman
Bloody in the UK term not blood gorey. I was forced by my daughter who speaks no Italian to watch the Winx Club movie on youtube and it was definately one of the worst things I've ever seen- it was like a 90 minute episiode that was more stuff about the main character with a bunch of flat asexual computer animation. So thanks to that movie you all are getting this thread. Please realize that we're not attacking movies or people so if I say I didn't like Blair Witch don't jump down my throat about it. Something that I could understand but also didn't like was Water Boy- okay yes I realize it was an Adam Sandler movie and going into those you shoudln't expect much, but it was terrible! I haven't watched it in years and I still remember how bad it was. Yeah, Well now I have to go but I'll put more later
desertphoenix
Apparently Batman & Robin ranks pretty high up there in crap. I don't know, I guess it was just one of those movies I only liked because I was young and naive at the time. I did run into a video of a guy that explains how bad it was better than I ever could. batman-and-robin edit: ummm... best use of vulgar language in dance and song for a web video atleast. The Spectacular Professor
I once watched the latter half or so of Batman and Robin. If I ever do so again, I'm making dang sure there's a Rifftrax to go with it. Seriously, that movie was so bad that George Clooney himself promised to refund the ticket price to anyone who saw it in theatres if they met him.

Nomurah!
Well, Lost Boys: The Tribe was pretty much a porn. And I used to, and still do, love Star Wars. But the other day, I saw Episode II for the first time in like... three years? Jesus Christ! The camera angles are horrible, the dialogue is cheesy, and similar to that of a soap-opera. :/ But I did get many inside jokes with friends from watching it. My favorite, possibly, the one in which Obi-Wan Kenobi pulls out his lightsaber, Java Fett (I believe that's his name) flies away. Obi-Wan just sits there looking dumb. And then puts his lightsaber away. It was so random. The old ones are way better. edit: I just reminded myself of the Star Wars movies that didn't make it to the theaters. Now those were horrible. I'm talking of you, Ewok Adventures.

Lunar
I would have to say all the older horror movies. they're kinda non-convincing compared to today's make-you-pee-your-pants stuff. as for a particular movie......um, Barbie's Crystal Castle? gosh, i wish you meant gore! i can tell you some stuff about that.
Darren
Well besides the old movies, (which you really have to have respect for considering the new age of cinema) and the low budget, (because they're working with what they have) I find that the worst movies tend to be the new horror/thriller flicks... Most of them are just stupid... The last good thriller I saw was Final Destination 1 and Saw 1... The sequels? Not so good. (Although I always enjoy watching the creative deaths in each of those movies' sequels) Other than that, I'll confess that I've never made it through a Will Ferrell movie besides Stranger Than Fiction. (Don't get me wrong, I love him on SNL) I just don't think he has any good movies, really... OH! I just remembered the worst movie ever: I Know Who Killed Me I know there are more, but the shorter list would be best movies ever because most of the time, I walk out of theatre thinking, "Eh. It was okay, but not great."
Lunar
Most Will Ferrel movies are just completly dumb. but Stranger than Fiction and Talledega Nights aren't as dumb. isn't I know who killed me about this stripper that got killed and knew who and tried to find out how to let everyone know? i never saw it and i have no interest in seeing it. i agree that all of today's movies aren't extremely good. some are just unnecessarily gorey for no reason what-so -ever, but my favorite horror movie has an awesome point and alot of gore. Silent Hill.
Drizzt Do'urden
Though I haven't seen it, you have to at least give those movies some credit. Now some movies you actually wonder why the hell they let them ever come out. Off the top of my head "Zombie Strippers" Haven't seen it, but i can imagine just from the trailer. I watched...well tried to watch Sweeny Todd the other day, now it could've been awesome if they would've had more than 2 people who could sing. That was probably my vote for worst movie ever (I'll watch zombie strippers before I finish sweeny Todd)
Lunar
Aw, heck no! Sweeny Todd is freakin' awesome. If you finish the movie, you'll see why. they start putting humans into pies, how the heck can you not be curious? that other dude is kind of a ***, though. anyway i've seen the preview for zombie strippers. stupid, stupid, stupid movie. why the bleeping? i didn't know it was a bad word.=(
Gavin
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. 1930s idea of the future should stay back in it's own decade. I Am Legend. I know there are people who will disagree with this, but really and truly it not only stole 100 minutes of my life with a sub-standard, suck-*** horror movie that seems to have been created to simply showcase that Will Smith can indeed do a one-person film, but the whole idea of the science behind the movie made anyone with any grasp of biology want to stand up and yell "WTF ?!". Star Wars: The Clone Wars. I gave a rant in this movies thread on how bad it was. Seriously the Force was not with this one, at all, it's the Jar-Jar Binks of movies. I think I got about an hour into Anchorman before I decided it wasn't worth finishing. And Blades of Glory: 20 minutes tops, if that even. Also, I haven't even attempted to watch Talladega Nights, nor do I ever want to. I already lost too many brain cells watching the preview and hearing people doing impersonations and hearing all the idiotic ringtones created from the movie... I attempted to watch semi-pro as well here recently, but I fell asleep because it was sooooooo boring and stupid. Also, I went to watch Step-Brothers in the theatre not too long ago and I got up and left. (Waste of 8 dollars) What can I say, I'm not as easily impressed by comedy as other people... *shrugs* But still, Will Ferrell rocked SNL!

Both DiCaprio and Danes were excellent, and even though it wasn't executed very well, the concept was still nice. Agree 100% on Superbad. I walked out of the theatre when I was it the first time. I tried to re-watch it with some friends last weekend, but fell asleep... Can't do it at all. And the reason why I'm staying away from Napoleon Dynamite is because it was low budget... If I included ever low budget movie that sucked, the list would probably never end.

ChibiHorsewoman
Prom Night,
Oh man I remember that movie my roommates in college made me sit through that movie. I thought it was going to be scary, but it was just... dumb the ending... yeah it was bad. I also thought the Hours was pretty bad- it was the first time I'd ever fallen asleep at a movie- I think I passed out for like an hour and when I woke up it was stiil on so I went and got my money back and ended up watching Dare Devil which wasn't much better IMHO. Let's see, I didn't like Blair Witch either- it could be because my friends and I were pretty much sitting with our noses to the screen in the theater. We were told by Amanda's brother that it was a good movie- but instead my friend Becky got motion sickness and when the movie was thankfully over we all went back and yelled at Amanda's brother. Lesson learned- don't trust your friend's siblings.
