Halloween Costumes!

Mmm...I'm afraid that I don't celebrate halloween anymore. It's too much of a hassle and I don't trust people. And the T.P.ers annoy the ******* out of me.

As for my favrite holiday...Christmas. I get two weeks of vacation that I use to stuff myself and avoid my irritating family. (Which is quite easy to do as my parents are away at work all day.)

For myself I haven't decided if I'll dress up or not since I'm probably working that day. I could just add a headband with something on it or wear a crown to work with my uniform. I'm not really sure how they do things at work yet sicne I've only been there for 2 months. So we'll see what happens.

I am working on cosplay for a convention in April. Bridget from Guilty Gear and Rikku from FFX. Depending which one I get finished first will depend on which I wear for the Anime Halloween Party at my college.

[SIZE="1"]I have two Halloween parties to go to this year. One is on Halloween, the other I'm not sure yet. Last year it was after Halloween so I have no idea.

As for what I'm be, I'm still thinking. I was a ninja last year. I ordered the uniform from BlackBelt mag, expecting it to be 'good'. It wasn't, it was so uncomfortable, I could barely kick in the stupid thing. This year I've considered an Egyptian, because I love Egypt, but I don't want to wear a wig. I've also thought of an Air Force pilot, because I love the military, or even a AF pilot from the 50s era because I saw a jacket at Target with that old pilot feel/look. So I'm not sure yet.

My favorite holiday[s] are Christmas and Easter. And no its not because of the presents.[/SIZE]

I don't really need to dress for Halloween. I kind of dress for it on normal bases. If I do dress up a little bit more then what I normally do it would be either as a vampire, witch, or a cat. I like to greet the trick or treaters all dressed up more fun that way.

As for my favorite holiday its of course HALLOWEEN! I like seeing all the kids all dressed up on a night where you can be any creature. Pumpkin carving is so much fun. I like to work hours on my pumpkins and get comments from the kids that see them.

Favorite holiday? Well Valentine's day sucks and it doesn't matter if I'm married, single or dating because even my own boyfriend can't remember to get me something-not even a card! The day after Valentine's day is best because of discount candy. When I was in elementary school I thought that halloween was the best day ever because you got free candy and there was one house on my street that gave out king sized snickers every year. :animesmil

Thanksgiving- at least the American Thanksgiving is good because you get to eat a lot and yell at the guys on TV. I don't know how Canadian Thanksgiving is because I have to miss the one at my boyfriend's house this year which is okay with me since I don't feel like being put on display (Come see the American! Swear to God that is what my boyfriend's mom will tell her neighbors) So maybe that's my favorite holiday because except for the food it doesn't stress you out and ruin your credit like Christmas can.[/color]

[FONT="Trebuchet MS"]I'll be dressing up as a mad scientist. This is mostly because i've already got everything i would need. I've got a lab coat, lab goggles, and hair gel. Obviously the hair gel is so i can have some crazy mad scientist hair.

My favorite holiday, hands down, is christmas. I just have so many good memories from my youth associated with christmas that everytime i hear a christmas song or see a christmas tree i start feeling good inside. I celebrate with my family. I get whatever present i get, we eat, it's all good. Last year, though, we barely celebrated... we didn't even have a christmas tree. I've already decided that this year will be different. I will be forcing my family to be christmas-y. [/FONT]

I'm not really sure what I'm going to be this year. Probably a random assortment of odd articles of clothing that I have. It might end up being similar to my assassin character, which is based of the Anthro character from Phantom Dust.(if you know what that looks like) If I go as the assassin I'll probably wear it to NoBrand this year, if I'm still going.

As for holiday, It'd have to be Halloween. Then I actually have a reason for being weird like I always am.

I just know that if nothing fun happens, I'm going to be really pissed - I've been waiting for a Friday night Halloween for years and years, and now I've got more freedom than ever before on top of it. My favorite holiday is Christmas, because it lasts a really long time (think about it, all the radio stations play the music and the stores are all decorated the DAY AFTER Thanksgiving!), and I love love love winter weather and of course PRESENTS.

Halloween would have to be my second favorite holiday, by default. I mean really, is there anyone on earth whose favorite holiday is not either Christmas or Halloween?

Anyway, even if I don't dress up, I always do something for Halloween. =P It's my birthday after all so I end up going to a Halloween party. Whether or not I bother to actually dress up is another matter. I always did when I was younger. Now I just enjoying the watching absurd scary movies that really aren't scary at all.

When I was smaller, I would always dress as a witch...for a bout five years in a row, actually! The last time I participated in Halloween, I was a geisha though!
I think my first halloween costume was, of course, the classic pumpkin suit! (I was only a few months old!)

Eh anyways on topic again....

I was probably a princess more times than I can count when I did go trick-or treating, I was also a witch one year when my brother was a devil, a bunny, a kitty a few times (my brother once went as a dog when I was a cat, a clown (now I have bozo phobia so no clown for me) and once I was Shy Violet from Rainbow Bright. My mom made me the costume and I still have it. Too bad now it's almost irrelevent because my mom made me the costume when I was five and now my daughter is four and I think she'd be able to wear it. I just need some purple yarn for a new wig, some white framed sunglasses, and some purple knee socks. She'd make such a cute color kid- I can even draw a purple star on her cheek.

Yeah let's see for her first halloween my daughter was a duck. My mom had found a yellow fuzzy onesie in Pheonix. It had a hood with a duck bill on it and on the bottom it said: Quack and there was a cracked egg. Then another year she was a lady bug then for the past two years she was a kitty witch thanks to a costome I'd found in THe Children's Place. She even had rainbow print leopard print tights and a Halloween basket that was shaped like a cat. I have no idea what to do this year.[/color]
