Writing Favorite Season

[COLOR="Indigo"]I had this idea because of an assignment I had to do...........anyway, the meaning is quite simple: say what your favorite season and write a poem on the reason why. Using words to paint a vivid picture. The poem doesn't have to rhyme(unless you want it to) feel free to comment on others poems as well! be nice..........

[CENTER]My favorite season is winter. Although I'm more likely to catch a wretched cold. I enjoy it more than anything you can imagine.
How I love sitting at my window, seeing the small, yet amazingly beautiful snowflakes with complex designs no mere man can replicate. The snow flakes glide gently towards the ground, and upon touching it, they melt.
Time slowly passes by and there is a thin layer of snow. This layer will no longer exist after the slightest disturbance.
I step outiside and look around. I'm careful as I make a small path; so I don't disturb its beauty.
Yet I cannot fight the urge to run and jump into it. I imagine myself running-no- sprinting only to trip and fall into a brand new snow dirff. I'm happy, although my nose turns a sharp crimson. I cover myself with the snow making a small blanket. Before I know it, the daydream's gone, and I'm back staring at the snow. Falling, falling, falling, falling.[/CENTER][/COLOR]

[FONT=Arial]Don't be so rash. First, either people could be taking their time to compose poetry, or they just don't feel like it. That's not your fault.

And second, a thread failure is never something to get depressed about. Besides, you can double post in this forum, so why not add some other poetry; or just have the subject be about seasons in general?

Also, somewhere around here is a Community Anthology thread. If you write something short, and aren't sure whether or not a good thread could be made from it, just drop it there.
