I'm an at home mom and I'm busy taking care of my two boys and cleaning the house 24/7 from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep and there are 3 adults in the house and I pick up after everyone (I don't mind, they work and I'm home so that's my full time job I suppose) But I was thinking just how many of us clean on a daily basis and the points of which people don't mind doing to the parts that we put off till we just can't take it any more. I don't mind doing dishes, it's actually therapeutic for me, its the laundry I hate the most. I'll hold off on that till we have no clean clothes and I have to wash something. I despise laundry, its the devils chore. :animeswea

Cleaning rocks!!!! Well, I have chores that are fun, anyway. I love the feel of hot water going over my fingers as I wash dishes. I enjoy the movement of the vacuum cleaner, too. I hate cleaning my room. It's not fun. However, it really depends on what my mood is to tell if I'll enjoy chores that day or not.:catgirl:

Laundry is actually the one chore I refuse to let my mother do for me when I'm at home. And I don't mind it at all; it's just loading the washer, doing something else for a half hour, loading the dryer, doing something else for an hour, and switching out until everything's been run through. Then the folding doesn't take too long, and you feel kinda good after everything's put away.

Plus, whenever my clothes are done by someone else, they're always done with someone else's stuff, and that's when I lose articles.

Ironing is a pain, though. Takes bloody forever to do anything. And I have to iron today. >_<

Household cleaning is fine. Dishes, laundry, whatever needs to be done. I cheat on the ironing though, by having clothing that doesn't really wrinkle a lot. So far, I haven't really run into a cleaning job at home that I hate.

What I really dislike is cleaning up at work. I work as a paramedic and the chemicals and smell of blood, depending on what type of calls I've answered during my shift, can get interesting at times. I still haven't gotten use to that. So though it's not difficult to do, sometimes, it's just very unpleasant to deal with.
Ironing is a pain, though. Takes bloody forever to do anything. It makes me wish I could get away with wearing jeans and shirts that don't need ironing for school.

Anyway, though cleaning the bathroom isn't my favorite thing, so long as the actual job isn't too time consuming I don't mind cleaning all that much. I like keeping things neat and clean anyway. It's the jobs that take a while and demand your full attention that get tiresome. Like ironing. =P

I do the dishes, my own laundry, sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash and vacuuming. Personally, I love taking the trash cans out to the road. Even if my driveway is a quarter mile long, winding and not paved. Since my home is surrounded by woods, I get to smell and see everything, feel the cool air and get a workout at the same time! (If I see a squirrel on my way back to the house, I chase it!:catgirl:)

On another note, I detest vacuuming. My house has a built-in vacuum system. It has different connecting parts and a looong tube-ish thing that I have to drag everywhere. Plus it just annoys me when there's something that just refuses to be vacuumed!:animeangr And putting away the dishes is a bit of a pain...

I never used to mind doing chores. Before my fiancee started nursing school we split the chores 50/50. For the past year I've been working full-time plus doing all the house work. So sufficet to say I'm at the point where I can't even cook dinner without cringing at the thought of having to wash dishes, and then wash the dish rags/towels.

I don't mind laundary as much, like Allamorph said when you're doing laundary for one or two people you can just sort've "set it and forget it". I feel bad for someone who does laundary for 5 people like Knuckle's girl though, that's a lot of folding and a lot of loads.

Well, honestly, I usually end up doing laundry when I can fill three loads, four if I'm doing bedclothes. But you can fold one load while you're waiting for the others to dry, so it kinda balances out, and you stay productive.

The only cleaning I don't care for is dishes. Which is rather ironic since I love to cook. So I clean as I go, that way it's not a huge mess when I'm done. Still, even if it wasn't possible to clean as I go, I'd still take the time to make stuff. It's just too much fun experimenting with different recipes. ^_^

I have no major issues with cleaning. It gives me something to do on my days at home and I also get paid to do so. The only real thing that I prefer not to do is ironing stuff although my parents don't really blame me for this.

I absolutely love cleaning my house on the weekends. It's so theraputic! The feeling of my house being fresh and clean really ables me to relax. Besides, I'm sort of always nervous what my friends will think of my place when they come over. So I'm constantly making sure every thing is in it's place and neatly organized.

I guess you can call be OCD but hey, I'd rather have a clean house than a messy cluttered one.
