Name: Jessie Rose

Personality: Tends to a real hard-ass. She's a big flirt (it comes with the job), but if a guy ever takes it too far, she'll get very aggressive and bitchy. Everyone loves her though, except the few who think she's going to grow up to become her parents.

Profession: Bartender/ Owner

Bio: Jessie's parents were outlaws who were killed while trying to rob the Cuezo bank. The Sheriff owner found her woundering around a few days after the attempted robery. She was six years old and helpless, so the Sheriff gave her over to Debra the bar owner, who was a lonely widow. Debbie took her in as her own, and raised her up in the bar. She started with cleaning tables, then waitressing, and eventually worked her way up to bar tending.

Jessie took over the bar (D.J.'s) when she was 20, after Debbie died. When the attacks started, she couldn't leave Debbie's legacy behind,and bartending and a little gun fighting she learned from her parents, was all she knew.

Name: Landon Ross

Age:24

Appearance: 6'2 200 lbs. Sort jet black hair, cut in a marine issue high and tight.

Profession: Farm Hand

Bio: Landon's parents were drifters. They roamed from town to town finally taking up residence in Cuezo when Landon was just 2. Landon's father took up working as a farm hand, his mother worked for Debbie tending bar on weekends, that is until she dissapeared mysteriously when Landon was 10. His father, quit working and spent the next two years searching for his beloved, leaving Landon to take over.

His father came home ranting about how he found Landon's mother, her body mutilated beyond belief. He kept saying, there was no way anyone could help. He purchased several large guns and disapeared just the same, so by age 13 Landon was alone. He enlisted in the Army at age 18, did 4 years and got out. He returned to Cuezo to pick up where his father left off, unfortunately there was only one farm that still needed help. The pay wasn't that great but Landon took the job, he wasn't sure why but he felt at hom in Cuezo. Maybe it was because the townspeople raised him, maybe it was because he liked the small town life, or maybe it was because he felt his father was on to something and one day he hoped to meet whatever took his parents face to face.

Name: Luellen Mose

Age:32

Profession: Sheriff of Cuezo

Appearance: His tall slender frame and chiseled good looks has earned Luellen the nickname Paco. Don't ask him why, he doesn't know. He doesn't put much thought into things of that nature. He's a simple Texas man right down to his cowboy boots, ten gallon hat,, and aviator sunglasses. He even smells like Texas should, like tobacco and the desert. Some say he was built for this land, but a man like Luellen... seems more like the land was built for him.

Bio: Being a Sheriff is in Luellen's blood. His father was a Sheriff, his grandfather was a Sheriff, in fact as far back at Cuezo goes a Mose has always been there to protect it. In late summer (shortly after the purchase of Mexican cattle) strange things began to happen around Cuezo. And those incidents have gotten more and more frequent. The farmers have always had to deal with coyotes picking off some cattle, it was just how things were, but these attacks were different, more vicious, more frequent. Still no one thought much of it. But Luellen began remembering the last time cattle were bought from Mexico, (only about 30 heffers or so, nothing like the hundreds bought in the spring) and how strange things began happening then as well. It was when Landon Ross lost his mother, and Luellen lost his father. There's never been much of a choice for Luellen Mose. Cuezo is where his life is. It's where he was born and where he'll die, but maybe sooner then he previously thought.
