[FONT="Comic Sans MS"][COLOR="Navy"]We've all heard the stories of the Titans and the gods and how they fought for power over mount Olympia. Myths, that's all they were to me. I never thought of things like that to be based off something that actually happened, seems to surreal and well; made up. I was in my senior history class, we had studied the old stories for weeks now, apparently the history behind all this wound up being alot. Bored me to death, but I was your normal student, didn't really care about the effect of the stories, just wanted to pass. Till a few months ago anyway. Seems the stories were more real than I first thought. A piece of the story history doesn't recount is how they all seemed to dissipate into thin air. They didn't. The mountain they ruled from is still there in Rome, and the gods of that mountain are still very much alive. I didn't know how much so til the one day that changed my life forever.

It was a bright January morning, the snow on the ground had frozen over night, Teela had been in a bad mood that night, her boyfriend of 4 months decided to break up with her; what fun. She didn't really care the only reason it upset her was because it was due to the stupid cheerleader who had been flirting with him at lunch the other day. She looked up to see the sky was darker than usual on snowy days, she didn't think about it to much at the time but she soon realized it was more important that she thought. It had only been a few hours while she was in school when she looked out and to her horror saw fireballs flying from the sky, she had been listening to the teachers droning voice talking about the titans and gods when the crash above her made her scream the last thing she remember was a gentle voice telling her to calm down. She opened her eyes to see herself standing alone on the mountain of Olympia. Teela looked around and felt a calm over take her as a new personality took over. She had been reborn as the Earth mother, Gaia. It wasn't long til others joined her as well and the god king him self, Zeus.
"The Titans have broken free of their prison. It is time to fight once again my friends."

Alright as the sign up I would like just a little insight to your character, the event that happened to them when the titans woke up, how you died and your reborn god, goddess. Go off mine. At the end a pic or description of your character. I do have a site you can look at to find which god you want to be, I am gonna need some people to be titans so just PM me and I'll see what we can do.

A bright, full moon loomed overhead as Raven walked through the woods. The trees were old and dying, their leaves had long died and fallen from the branches, and the ancient limbs limped at the howling winds. She watched the shadows dance in the moonlight and followed their rythem, slowly swaying her body to match the trees. It was an unusual feeling, this natural flow, to be one with forest's spirit. she ahd always been a "forest child" as they say. Ever since she was a child, she would always escxape into the forest, into the darkness. It soothed her to be alone with trees, to be alone with unpredictable shadows that loomed around her.She smiled and looked to the sky.

An ominiuos fog had start to set on the earth, and engolped her. Suddenly, the moon turned a blood red, and fire streaked the darkness. It made the ground rumble, and the forest was set ablaze in seconds. She screamed her "home" diminishing before her eyes. An overwhelming heat consumed her, and then...silence...

She awoke floating above the mountain, her old memories flooding in and taking over her completely. She had been reborn as Nyx, the goddess of darkness/night. She looked around at the others below her, and slowly lowered herself onto the rock, slightly hovering above the ground. A smirk crept across her face as Zeus appeared before them. Memories of him fleeing amuzed her. He looked at her for a moment, then turned towards everyone and spoke, "The Titans have broken free of their prison. It is time to fight once again my friends."

[COLOR="Sienna"][B]~Funny. I just go through reading a book about Greek mythology.~[/B]Kassandra sighed and said the rest of her essay.
"So, as you can see, although Kassandra was never believed, her prophecies were true. This goes to show many people know what they're talking about and although they may seem crazy, you should listen to them."
The class smiled and made a loud applause. She had won. She knew she had won.
"Now to claim my prize." she said. She made her way outside and looked up at the sun, still shining. It was if it congratulated her on her win. She smiled and continued walking. She saw a friend sitting on a nearby bench who was crying. She knelt down and hugged her. She continued walking.
"Hey, Kassandra!" one of the many boys said as she walked past. She couldn't help it. She was beautiful.................it seemed as if Aphrodite herself had blessed her. She forced herself to believe she was born that way...........but it still stood in her mind. What if she really [I]was[/I] blessed by Aphrodite?
"Silly." she mumbled as she walked up to the platform on which she was to recieve her reward.
"And, finally, Kassandra will recieve the reward for best essay of the year." she smiled as she was once again applauded. But this happiness was short lived. First it started with the ground shaking. Then all she could see were people running and screaming. Finally all was silence. She looked down at her chest. She had been impaled through the heart. Before she could utter a sound, all went dark.
She appeared sitting on top of a beautiful mountain, her legs dangling over the edge. Suddenly she knew who she was. She was Aphrodite. Then it all came back to her. This was why she was so beautiful...............she was Aphrodite herself. Suddenly Appolo appeared before her.
"It is now time, my lady, for now is the battle. The Titans have finally broken out."

[Drizzt Do'urden]

Sam woke up to the sound of the rain beating on his window. He'd skipped school today, he didn't feel well. Something wasn't right, something was eating at him, something wanted him to put his finger on the problem but he just couldn't. Always enjoying the rain, Sam decided to go for a walk, his mother wouldn't even know he was gone. She was drunk again, passed out at noon, father hadn't been around for 10 years. That wasn't the cause of mother's drinking, it was mother's drinking that caused father to leave.

Sam strood down the main street in his small town; he couldn't belive what a dump it was. Crime, death, gang viloence, ran rampet. The cities police force had their hands in every dirt business. He couldn't wait till the city was destroyed, gone in a second by that force.....wait, where did that thought come from. Sam paused, put a finger to his lips and thought hard. A thought, rather it seemed more of a memory. A flaming river, a skeleton ferry man taking a sould across the river Styx. Sam stood at the bank, awaiting this new addition to his ever growing population of souls.

Sam paused, the fear gripped him. He looked to the sky and saw something odd. It looked like a planet was coming down on him. He realized quickly what it was, a meteor was heading right for his town. At speeds only the cosmos could fathom, it struck the city, instantly everything was enveloped in a cloud of flame, dust, and a shockwave that toppled every building in site. Sam had closed his eyes when the meteor stuck, thinking it was over. Now he realized he was still alive, in fact he hadn't been injured.

He almost feel over when he looked around, he could see the souls of the dead. The ones that led good lives were being allowed to pass on into the distant heavens. The others stood in front of Sam, some obviously pissed because they thought they lived good lives, the others looking at him with a look of fear. They knew who he was....in fact he knew who he was. Sam pointed to the ground, it immediateally opened up, and the souls departed. He looked to the sky, in the distance he could see Olympus, the mountain he had once called home. It seemed that something had awoken and his help was needed, Olympus called for the help of [URL="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff92/crazyjesusthe/anime/Evil-1.jpg"]Arion[/URL], god of the underwold/Death.

[Ol' Fighter]

Theus walked down the torn streets of his city with a huge grin across his face and a large black bag flicking a quarter in his left hand as well.
"I really got a good load of things today, man are they goin' to be happy!" he said now starting to pick up his stride.
"Hey! The brat's right here!" yelled a man in an army uniform waving for his comrades.
"Damn!" Theus said under his breath as he began to run towards an alley.
"Bastard! Get back here you little thief!"screamed another man.
"Come on you slow-pokes is that th-" Theus was cut off as he was struck on the back by a steel pole.
"Now you little punk, we knew someone was hitting us, where are the rest of your little friends!", a third man yelled punching Theus in the face.
"S-s" Theus feebly said still clutching the bag.
"Speak up you little punk!" the man said preparing to punch him again only to be met by Theus devastating kick upwards to his elbow snapping it.
"SCREW YOU!!" Theus said hopping over the fence away from the man moaning in agony.
"Wait 'till they here what happened to me!" Theus said still running while wiping the blood from his lip.

"Yo, guys I'm back!" Theus said ecstatically holding the bag above his head.
"THEUS!! Your okay I-"
"OF COURSE I'm okay, it'll take an entire army to stop me Ray!" Theus said laughing will handing her some food from the bag.
"Nice one man!" yelled a boy about the same age as Theus accompanied by 4 other people all eager to see what was in the bag. Theus on the other hand was happy but very troubled. He felt as if something was about to happen, something bad.
"Hey guys, eat up, just save me an apple or something..." he said walking outside the building.
"Are you okay?" Ray said walking up besides him.
"I'm fine just-" he stopped as watched the sky turn red noticing a steadily growing red dot in the sky come closer and closer. Theus suddenly began to feel pain surge over his entire body as if he had chains of searing flame wrapped around his entire body.
"Th-Theus? Your body...what is happening to you? Theus?!" Ray screamed as she saw, right before her very eyes, his body reconfigure and boil. Theuses hair, once a puffy cotton-ball of hair, now a twisted mess of crimson; his body, now rippling with muscles, and lastly, his wrists seemed to have huge iron cuffs with some weird and exotic text written on them.
".....Ray..." was all that Theus could muster before everything around him was swallowed by the abyss of an explosion.

"...Theus, wake up..." a voice yelled. Theus awoke only to find himself chained and an unexplainable feeling of rage and sadness.
"It's about time you awoke...reclaim your forefather's glory...punish those so called gods" the voice roared.
"Prometheus...the one who helped out mankind and in favor was chained and tortured...that is who I am...but it is about time I got my revenge on those who have wrong me so..." Theus said breaking the chains.

"Prometheus is back...and with an attitude might I add...Ray...I trust you will keep him at bay?" Zeus said to rather attractive woman with red hair.
"I guess I'll have to...even as a human he always did have a temper" she replied vanishing.

Gonna rock the story here!!!

[The Enemy]

Tucker ran as fast and hard as his almost atrophied muscles would move him. He weaved through trees and overgrowth trying to get away from his pursuers. His straps flailed hopelessly in the win as he looked up at the moon's reddening pitch and began running faster. Unfortunately he all too quickly jumped a fallen tree and got tangled in the roots of another as he landed. Crashing to the ground with a thud. The 6 or 7 men chasing him nigh instantly caught up and pinned him to the ground. Tightening the straps of his jacket and dragging him back from whence he was running.

"No! You must let me go! They are coming!" Tucker shouted fanatically. The six men deafly continued hauling him back. "Please!" Tucker continued. "You don't understand, you will all be killed! They have returned!"

"Yah yah, sure they have, we're all scared." one of the men commented sarcastically.
"Who is coming?" another questioned.
"Oh right I forgot" the first man answered "you haven't met Tucker yet, this is your first time. Or 'Titan Tucker' as he's usually called. You know much about Greek mythology?" the other man gave a 'yes and no' gesture. "ok well the titans-"

Tucker shouted again cutting him off "Do not call me a titan! How dare you lump me in with those beasts!"

"Anyways," the first man continued "The titans were like crazy giant monsters or something, and the gods sealed them away. But Tucker was admitted because he keeps warning people that the titans are coming back and the Greek gods have to save us." The group broke out in laughter.

Moments later several of the surrounding trees began catching fire spontaneously. "I told you! I told all of you! The time has come! I knew I was right, I just knew it!!" Tucker shouted obnoxiously. The men began pulling Tucker back faster but soon they were surrounded by fire, and the full moon shown a bright blood red. Tree's began falling, covered in flames. "You should have listened to me! I could have saved you all!" Tucker boasted as a tree crushed 2 of the men and another began cracking towards him. "I could have saved you-" Tucker was transported to the mighty mountain as well, standing before the gods and his now apparent team mates "-all!!!!" he concluded, before realising he wasn’t in the burning forest anymore.

"Oh good...Chaos has arrived, and I was so worried..." Zeus proclaimed with a note of epic sarcasm.
