TNA Impact the Video game?

TNA Impact was a decent enough first wrestling game for Midway to make. However, te game had such promise to it that when released it kinda felt like the wider public had been cheated by it.

Still, live and learn eh? Midway will surely improve the engine if they make another one.

I didn't like that Booker T made it before Kaz and Petey Williams. That part tick me off a bit. Also the have no real wrestling ring expect for the IMPACT ZONE.

If Midway wants to stomp SVR then here's a suggestion for Impact 2. Forget create a finisher, make it create a moveset (Where you create every single move for your wrestler.) This way you could pick regular moves for your wrestler, or just create innovative offense. I'm not just talking about the finisher, I'm talking about all the moves your wrestler does. If THQ can do create a finisher then Midway can do this. After-all this IS TNA and TNA is all about innovative offense. then you could make more sequential moves like 3 amigos germans and so on. they could also do create double team moves which could improve the tag matches. let us have more finishers than just two. Just 3 finishers. Create Tag team entrances. KNOCKOUTS & TNA PIONEERS. ALSO HAVE THE NAMES FROM WWW.2000+NAMES.COM

MATCHES.
KOTM=King of the Mountain (mini-game)
S=Singles
TT=Tagteam
LL=Lethal Lockdown
EX=Evelation X (mini-game)
G=Gauntlet match
XM=Xscape Match (mini-game)
DE=Double Elimination
TD=TERRORDOME (mini-game)
HH=Hangman's Horror match (mini-game)
H=Handicap match
BWM=Barbed Wire Massacre
P=Pole match (mini-game)
TLC=Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match
6SOS=Six-side of Steel (mini-game)

I used to like wrestling games, but I just can't get into them anymore. Maybe it's the fact that I outgrew professional wrestling, or that I actually did real wrestling when I was in highschool...who knows? However, I did take a peek at TNA impact when my friend bought it the other day at Gamestop.

Graphics: Not bad for the system we bought it for (PS3). Every looked like it should have, with no weird textures or anything on the wrestlers. However they do need to work on the crowd.That part was lacking.

Gameplay: I felt kinda restricted controlling my wrestler, and the movements had a caveman quality to them. Just felt really rough to me. The controls were responsive, but they just had a weird feel to them. The control scheme is simple enough, and didn't take long to learn how to do everything.

Presentation: I've watched TNA Impact maybe twice in my lifetime and from what I've seen, it recreates the Arena part of it quite well. The only thing that I'd say it was lacking is other venues to fight in, which SvR does boast. It does offer the basic modes it should with a few interesting mini-games, but nothing really ground-breaking.

Overall it was a good attempt at a wrestling game and just needs to be polished up to compete with SvR. But neither of those titles can really compare with Wrestlemania, the Arcade game.

TNA was surpose to be like WWF No Mercy.

TNA beated WWE in the graphics.
WWE beated TNA in the Create Modes and the Roster of course.

WWE problems:
No Backstage match.
In the middle of wrestling with our oppent(s) let us roam and fight in backstage.
Need better graphics like Midway's TNA Impact graphics.
Can't climb the stair by the fans.

TNA Problems:
More Roster stars
More matches
More outfits in CAW Mode
Create moveset and finisher.
Create Entrances.
Back stage brawl.
