Claire
Who has heard of this? I only know about it thanks to Livejournal, but in the past I've always wanted to participate only to remember when it was far too late into the month. National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, involves writing a novel in one month (imagine that!) In this case, a novel amounts to 50,000 words. Right now, I have a good idea for a story, but I'm not sure if I can handle writing almost 2,000 words everyday. I also have to read all of Frankenstein by Tuesday for my AP Lit class, and I'd feel bad getting to work on NaNoWriMo when I've shirked my schoolwork so badly. Talk about your plans for NaNoWriMo, if you've ever done anything for it in the past, what your novel will be about, excerpts from your work, etc.
Lunar
I have never heard of that in my life, but I would love to write something for it. I wrote this novel in the past called Life. If you wanna know about it, ask me, but I won't talk about it because it's sad. I wrote this other novel, I can't remember the name of it, but it was short. I've actually thought about writing another. I'm in the process of making a comic about it instead.:catgirl: EDIT: I totally missed the fact about 50,000 words. In that case, I have never written a novel, and the only one that can be considered a novel is Life. So, I guess I just write "books" or short stories. Hehehe.:animeswea
Vicky
I think I did this last year, or the year before, or further back... or all three... when Ozy told me about it. First time around I got really pissed off and just pulled something out from my computer which was well over 50, 000 words to begin with and whenever I did it the next time I got just over 50, 000 with a few more days to spare. Then I forgot to submit it >_<. Had there been any other time then I obviously just... didn't do it, haha. I'm doing it this time around but I don't have the whole 'words per day' things that most people write because I go off pages instead of words. It doesn't take me very long to write things or come up with ideas, whether or not they be good, and I'm thinking of maybe doing something around my new RPG because that only took a lunchtime to think of and is open to miles of interpretation. I'm probably going to be a few days behind, more than likely. I'm not too worried about meeting the deadline... I have a good few hours on most people who go to college or school as well because I don't sleep as much as they do. Three or four hours is enough for me and NaNoWriMo is something to pass the time.
Kenso
I found out about this last year and was going to participate, but forgot. I wish I had done it though. I can't do it this year. I'm working two jobs plus repairing my father's house, and I simply don't have the spare time to do it in. Maybe next year I'll be able to give it a shot. It certainly sounds like a load of fun. (Although I've been having serious issues writing lately.)
