A small fire extinguisher will never do! I need the whole frickin' Fire Dept.! And you get an Amish person for Christmas. (Hope you don't mind, I'm terrible at wrapping!) Gavin
Well twelve months on my most hoped for present is still a Sony PS3 but since my brother and I have been in university since Autumn it's going to be a rather frugal Christmas this year. Mostly I'm hoping for money just to cover expenses of moving in January and put some cash away for a rainy day (the illustrious PS3 savings fund). Damn I hate being a penniless college student...

Take my earlier post about thinking of getting an xbox360... I just got nailed with some additional fees for the next semester so that's totally not going to happen. Oh well. I think the reason they give students so much time off is so we can actually work and not collapse under the mountain of debt we're slowly building.

I'm a single parent with a single income (is that redundant?) and the company that owns the assisted living facility where I work has suddenly decided to cut down on over time (ie: no more over time and we're short on people some days.) Plus I have 30$ taken out a week for benefits (yes the joys of living in America) So I'm trying to get a part time job and I still have my parents to pay for all the car repairs from the past year and a Target bill. Okay okay yes I got a lot of gifts for my daughter and most of my shopping is done, but I have 2 gifts to buy and some non Christmassy stuff to do and my out of town friend's gifts to ship and I've no funds to do so. Hey! I've got an idea! Let's set up the Irish Members Fund! Your generous donations will help fund the holidays of the Irish members of the OB!Please give what you can and Merry Bloody Christmas
Hiko
Well I have never been one to ask for a lot mainly because I buy most of it for my self but what I did ask for is a 360 and some games, but I am sure that my parents have gotten me other things if they didn't get me 360. Esther
I've never been one to ask a lot for Christmas. I always feel bad when I do. This year, I just told my hubby, parents, and friends to get me whatever or nothing at all -- it really didn't matter. However, I would be really thankful if someone got my something from Tiffany's. ;) (I saw a little blue bag in my husband's office closet by accident so I think he did go to Tiffan'ys!)
