Amaya V.S. Stephani

Alright, so I found out I'm having a beautiful baby girl soon and I couldn't be more excited, but there is one little problem that is rising. We can't agree for crap on a name. Well, technically we each have a name, but she likes Stephani and I like Amaya.

There's the prob...

I know it really won't make a diffrence, but which name do guys like more.
Amaya or Stephani?

Side note: Amaya would be easily mistaken for A-may-ya, but its A-Miy-ya. Just thought I'd clear that up a bit.

First of all, congratulations on finding out that you're going to be having a girl.

Now as for the names, I'm hesitant to suggest a name for the simple reason you don't really know me at all. If the two of you still haven't decided, have you considered talking to your parents to see what they think of the names?

Anyway, no matter how you finally decide, personally I think both are nice names so either one will make a great name for your daughter.

Me personally I like Amaya, I've never heard that before and it has a nice ring to it. Very pretty name, nothing wrong with Stephani, its just Amaya is more appealing to me.

[color=#9933ff]Well first off I'm biased because my daughter has an 'A' name too. So I voted for Amaya- it sounds prettier than Stephani. Maybe you can have Stephani for a middle name.

Second. Congratulations. But watch out because stuff for girls is addictive- cheap if you know where to go- but addictive. I know this for a fact because pretty much every time I go out I see something to get for my daughter.

Congratulations hun. Both names are quite pretty so I'd be hard pressed to choose either one. Perhaps you could do like ChibiHorsewoman suggested and have one as the name and the other as a middle name.
