Denia looked up at the sky. The sun beat down on them so; it seemed as if there was never a break. Although she had lived in it all her life, the heat of Hyperion still got to her. She had never been anywhere else and wondered if there were any other cities out there. This city she lived in was always the same, no change. The weather was still dry; the ground was always dirt that made small sand storms whenever the wind blew violently.
As she walked around, during her rounds in the temple (she was indeed studying the ancient arts), she heard someone shout her name outside. Worried that she did something wrong, she rushed outside.
She stopped in her tracks when she saw Thesin, the grumpy old temple over-seer frowning at the arrangements of flowers she had made.
"What is it?"
"You cannot see it?!" The old man jutted a stubby finger towards a small rose.
"What about it?"
"Denia, if you cannot point out these things, you will not be able to study further. Look at the petals."
Denia leaned over and squinted at the soft red petals. She noticed that one was browning slightly.
"Figures. The climate here is terrible, what do you expect? You are so foolish sometimes."
Denia said these last few words under her breath, but as she looked up, she saw the old man frowning in disproof.

"How many times do I have to tell you? Do not speak to me like that. I am one of your many teachers and I should be attending to my own duties, but I am actually coming here to teach you. You of all people. Do you know...............?”
At this point, she had shut him out of her mind and went into her own thoughts as she always did whenever someone was lecturing her.
Usually, her day dreams consisted of things she had to do throughout the day or things that she hadn't yet taken care of. But as she was thinking about this, it seemed as if something had struck her, something she had never seen before.

Her thoughts all twisted into something terrible, unimaginable. The screams of men, women and children filled the air. The sky was a pitch black and fire reflected off of the lakes, well what used to be lakes. It seemed as if the lakes were filled with blood. In her mind's eyes Denia ran in an unknown direction, to what had seemed like safety but wasn't. A grotesque army arose from behind a wall that had never been there before and ran towards her, killing anything that was in their way. Denia was still running when she slipped. She looked up to see the army standing above her with daggers raised high in the air. She saw the face of the leader, an even more grotesque man. He had a smile on his face.
"Finally, I will get my revenge." he said and plunged the dagger into her heart.

With a gasp, she came back to, holding her chest with her hand. Everyone was staring at her. Apparently she hadn't moved for a long time. She felt her legs go weak and saw the ground rushing towards her. Everything went black.

~Stop it, tell me one thing that's wrong with your post?~

Keith strode around the market district of Pandora with his head held high. In just a few days he was to be annointed a full-fledged knight of Pandora. An honor his father, his grandfather, and great grandfather all received, and one he took very seriously. One kicker to this was his age; normally he would have to wait until his 28th birthday, but his battle prowess and devotion to the safety of Pandora has earned him the title 4 years early.

He wouldn't deny he took a small amount of pride in being who he was. He pretended not to notice the young women giggling when he walked by, though he would never give any of them the time of day. Not because he was conceited and saw himself as being "above" them. No it was because his love was this city that he called his home, and would do anything to protect it.

There was something that made Keith pause though. There was a peculiar young woman in the market as well. There was something odd about her in that her ears were quite...well quite large. In fact they appeared to something of dog ears on her head.

Intrigued keith began making his way to her, but before he could get close she dissapeared into the crowd. Dishearted, Keith began making his way again to the palace.....

------------------------Day of Knighting Ceremony-----------------------

Keith stood in front of the lord of Pandora, pushing back the smile he felt brewing inside. He was wearing his ceremonial robes, his squires blade in the scabbard along his waist. (Of course it wasn't an actual weapon, just a blunt status symbol). Sitting in front of him, on an extravegant violet silk pillow was the blade of a Pandoran Knight. The ceremony continued with readings of all his heroics, most surpassing many of the current knights.

As Keith began unstrapping his blade, something took him. It started off as a chill running down his spine, then the chill turned in to a freezing sensation that took his breath away. Keith looked around the room, the freezing sensation seemed to be taking everyone around him. The people gathered for his corination were all staring straight ahead, frozen in time.

Keith watched, unable to move as the walls began to crumble and break away. It seemed as though some outside force was destroying one of the oldest towns in the world, a town that took a thousand years to build, in mere seconds. In a matter of seconds there was nothing, just a barren landscape.

Suddenly something caught Keith's eye. Just a short distance away was a brilliant red glowing form that was melting the ice. Following right behind was an emaculate white form that was replenishing the ice as it melted. At once the two entities turned and struck one another, the force created a shockwave that decimated anything standing above ground level. Keith watched in horror as it closed in, almost in slow motion.

It seemed as though this would be the end, the end of the world if the two things were not stopped. Keith tried to reach for his shield, his blade, anything that would protect him from the wave of destruction, but it was all in vain. The wave struck him, he watched in horror as his hands began breaking away like grains of sand. He tried to scream but nothing came out, then all of a sudden he was screaming.

He was standing in his ceremonial robes, screaming like a child awaking from a nightmare. His father shaking him, as he settled down Keith did the only thing he could do. He passed out.....

Aleira smiled coldly as she pressed her sai into the young man's throat. " I said no. Now get your beaten, ugly, pansy ass out of here before I rip your god damned head off!" Releasing the man, she folded her arms and glared.

The man got up calmly and smirked. "Well, playing hard to get I see. I can play around a while, but eventually your going to have to succumb to me."

"Yeah right...why the hell do you think I would ever be interested in you?"

"I don't, but your father sold you to me fare and square. I've let you wander around these last few years since you ran away, but not anymore."

"Ha! That drunken old bastard had no right to sell me in the first place. I'm not his property or yours for that matter. If you want me so bad, then your gonna have to earn the old fashioned way, and I don't mean trying to flatter me with your rich's either."

The man smiled and rubbed his head. " Fine, I'll give you a week to come to your senses, then I'll send the guards after you. Your mine baby." Grinning madly, he winked and strolled out the door.

"Whatever...pansy." Stretching her arms above her head, she sat at the bar and ordered a drink. The liquor burned slightly as it went down, but nothing she couldn't handle. Taking another swig, she noticed a forming crowd of girls around her. "What the hell do you want?"

The girls smiled with prominent blushes on their cheeks. " You declined Micheal?!"

"What?"

"Micheal is sooo cute and extremely rich. How could you not want him? He's like...a girls dream. You'd be set for life!"

Rolling her eyes and laughing, she replied, " Listen, he's not that great. I've know Mike since kindergarten, and he's always been a pompous ass who flaunts his money and family heritage to get whatever he wants. He doesn't know the word no, or rejection. So, I'm proving to him that his money can't buy everything, especially not me. I don't need a man to survive, I'm doing fine on my own."

"Wow! I don't think I would ever give up that kind of opportunity. I could get anything I wanted, help out my family, and have nice environment to raise a family in." The girl smiled and looked off into space, dreaming of what could be.

" Whatever, you go marry him then. I'll be glad to get him off my tail."

Suddenly, the room started to shake violently. Everyone was screaming as the walls crumbled, and streets cracked and split into seemingly never-ending caverns. She quickly ran out, watching the carnage as people were being impaled by gargantuan chunks of earth protruding from below them. The sight was incredible, so much power coming from...what? Looking around frantically, she noticed someone in the distance, the figure's back was facing her. Running to then figure, she grabbed it's shoulder and gasped. The figure had turned around, revealing an eye gouged Micheal.

" They'll be coming for you..." He smiled evilly and poked her forehead. "Boom!"

Feeling a sharp pain, she looked down at her hand. Her shot glass was crushed between her fingers, leaving a trail of fresh blood to stream down her arm. She looked around, to see everything normal again, except for the mass of people staring at her awkwardly. " Shit..." Everything was black now, her body numb. Falling to the ground, she could hear a storm of voices...silence.

Adorned by his short green hair, his black bandanna on top of his head, the crimson red officer coat, the two swords that lay at his waist that had seen so much expierence. The hallways of the castle loomed around him. The stone swallowing his whole being.

The sound of his footsteps echoed off the walls, moving around the empty hallway. His boots carried him down the hallway and a square box of light appeared at the distance. As he got closer to it, grass came into view. Emerald grass, light blue skies, clouds of pure white in the pool of sky. An armored man had approached him as he stepped into the courtyard. There were a dozen or so metal stands stamped into the lawn. Twenty or so men stood, wooden swords held tightly in their hands, the yells and 'cloks' of the wood all too apparent.

"Captain Venerez! So glad to see you're here to lead the class."

Kaim took a look at the armored man. His eyes of no mercy looked right through the man.

"Sorry I'm late, men. But as of now, the lesson will be commencing."

The training began, and dragged on for hours, just like it always did. A young student of his had asked for a practice match after the lesson. The boy had approached him and he handled the wooden sword, getting ready for the boy to attack.

"Are you ready, Captain?" His voice was relatively high pitched. He doubted the boy was older than fifteen.

"I am."

Before the boy could even get an attack of his mind had wandered somewhere far away. His eyes had gone wide and the boy had stopped his attack. His reality crumbled away, the space created resembled a field. Two men stood in the middle of the fair field. Each held their swords up, and they clashed. Strike after strike, they collided. As Kaim approached the two, he realized one was masked, and the other was...himself. What the hell?.. The thought ran through his mind as the masked man sank his blade into Kaim's shoulder and proceeded to cut through his torso. Any source of breath escaped from Kaim's body as he saw himself fall to the floor, dead. That's when he approached the masked man, who pulled off the device hiding his identity only to find out this one was also himself.

He shook his head, coming back to reality as he looked at his student.

"Sir, are you okay?..." The boy's eyes stared at Kaim curiously, but he didn't move.

"Dammit..." Kaim's lips murmured as he fell over. The wooden sword clanked down onto the ground as the blackness enveloped his vision.

Mori was shopping for supplies. It had already been five months since she left the forest. She already was called a monster by several villagers.

Just then, her ears perked up. A man was watching her. Mori quickly dissappeared into the crowd.

~~~Later at the ceremony~~~
It may have been that same man who had watched her, but Mori attended the ceremony anyway. However, just as he collapsed, she had done so, too.
She saw the man being killed by two destructive spirits: one of ice, and the other of fire. It seemed to disintegrate the man.
Mori watched as the spirits headed her way. She tried to run, but for some reason, her legs wouldn't move; her legs were frozen solid.
Just then, the spirits came her way and destroyed her; her body froze solid, then melted into a pile of ashes.
Mori suddenly awoke from the vision. She noticed people surrounding the man. She had enough strength to stay awake. She moved closer, trying not to be noticed. Suddenly, Mori fell next to the man.
"Desdemona!" cried Rose étoile. "What beautiful day we're having!"
Luna by her feet stared at Rose as if she had just grown another head. Sometimes the little cat could not understand her mistress when she just started talking to no one.
Rose and Luna were standing on Wind Hill, on the outskirts of the semi large town Desdemona. A breeze blow back her bright pink hair and her dress skirt danced around.
"We need to go Luna or we wont be able to get back to the art stall in time. I personally don't want another scolding from Mr. Price, you Luna?"
Luna gave a evil hiss, the fur stood on end. Luna hated that man. He always seemed to be angry and took it out on her poor mistress.
The two started to run in the direction of Desdemona market place.
******Vincent Price Art for All Stall******
Rose ran up just as the first customer left. Mr. Price stood on the threshold of the stall, glared as he noticed Rose and Luna come running up.
"Your late you ungrateful girl! Get inside now!" growled Mr. Price.
The two slipped by the extremely tall old man and seated at the canvas. Of course most seemed tall compared to Rose 5'4 height. Rose began her duty of starting the next painting to be sold and showing the proses the painting goes though to any curious customer. Luna settled by Roses feet.
During her sketching of the new painting, a trance clouded Rose's mind. Her arm moved on its own accorded, sketching a bloody scene. A battlefield with both sides having one soldier left still trying to destroy the other. Blood poured from wounds on both and armor torn in various places.
"What the hell are you doing you stupid girl!" cried Mr. Price. Rose came out of her trance like state. Luna had manage to climb onto her lap and was hissing at the canvas.
"Sorry, Sir. I don't know what came over me." spoke Rose.
"I'll take the sketch out back for now. Get to work on the night piece your suppose to do." moody Mr. Price stated.
Out back of the stall, Mr. Price took a better look at the sketch. A look of shock and fear crossed his old face.
"Lord, help the poor girl." whispered Mr. Price as he set the canvas down facing so the sketch was not visible.
Aveza Slayn was standing beneath a tree in the garden of her large home on Aristea. The leaves were swaying in the slight breeze, as was her long, silky black hair. "Ah, so beautiful..." Avesa whispered to herself as she closed her purple eyes.
"Miss Aveza! It's time for your lessons!" called one of the maids. Aveza sighed and turned to go back into the estate, a prison to her. She often dreamed of escaping, but knew she couldn't. "Miss Aveza!" the maid urged.
"I'm coming!" Aveza answered in annoyance. She entered the mansion and quickly found her way to the lesson room. She opened the door to the dimly lit study and walked in to see her private tutor, Zelos. His dark green hair was pulled back into a long ponytail today, Aveza noted. "I'm here..." she murmured. Zelos turned his head slightly, glaring at Aveza with his bright red eyes from behind his small, round glasses. Suddenly, he flung himself around and slapped Aveza with the heavy textbook in his hand. Aveza grunted and stumbled backwards.
"Stupid girl, you're late again!" Zelos fumed. Aveza looked up with her half-lidded eyes.
"I'm sorry...I was just-"
"Just WHAT?! Daydreaming in the garden again?! I would have known! Well, I'll see to it that I talk to your mother and demand that she forbid you from entering that damned place!" Zelos shouted.
"You can't!" Aveza shouted back, a rare event as she was always quiet.
"Do not tell me, your tutor, what to do!" Zelos screamed. He lifted Aveza up by the collar of her dress and shoved her up against the wall. He began slapping her, but Aveza had snapped. She reached under her dress and grabbed the extendable metal pipe strapped to her thigh.
"STOP IT!" she shrieked as she slammed the pipe into Zelos' face, knocking him out cold. Aveza turned and ran out of the study, down the hall and out the garden door. She sprinted towards the enormous wall that fenced in the property. Extending her pipe, she jammed it into the ground. Aveza went sailing over the wall, something she had dreamed of, but never had the guts to do. She landed on the other side and began running into town, a place she had been only once, when she was 7 years old.
Aveza was panting as she hid behind the local theatre. "I need a disguise!" Aveza gasped. She opened the back door of the theatre and found the lead actress' room. She entered the room and looked around. Aveza quickly went to the vanity, there she found a pair of shiny, silver scissors. Lifting the heavy object up, she snapped at her hair until it was straight at the edges and about jaw length. Aveza turned to the costume rack and grabbed a black, hooded cloak that she threw on. She turned to the vanity again and clumsily applied some make up to cover her bruises and red spots where she had been beaten.
Aveza exited the theatre and walked out into the alley, sure that the whole town was looking for her. She was about to run, when she felt an odd sensation. Though the day had been fair and breezy, she began to burn up. It was so hot, Aveza started to get dizzy. She looked at her surroundings quickly. What she saw stunned her. The buildings were crushed, bodies drapping over them as if they had been raining from the sky. She felt something tug at her cloak. Aveza turned and saw a bloody, rotting child. "Help me, please!" it begged, tearing at Aveza. Aveza began to scream and shriek as she had never before, it was so terrible! Suddenly, Aveza was back in the alley. She stood there, quivering. Then a breeze came through the alley, seemingly pushing the weakened Aveza to the ground.
Keith awoke on the floor with the whole crowd staring at him. Not in the good way they were doing moments ago, but instead staring at him as though he were about to be crucified.
Suddenly his father was beside him, helping him to his feet and acting like he'd just died and was ressurected. "Keith...Keith can you hear me? Are you okay?" Keith gave his dad a small shove to show him he could stand on his own. "I'm fine dad, just had a bit of a spell there...." Keith picked up his current sword he had been unstrapping when the "vision" took him, and did his best to pretend nothing had happened.
Bowing deeply to the Lord of Pandora Keith took to a knee and held his sword, hilt first, towards his Lord. As Lord Gareth stood to his feet, all those in the audience hushed and not a peep was heard. He approached Keith, took his Squire's blade and turned his back on Keith. The silenced crowd now stood to their feet. Never before had Lord Gareth turned his back on anyone, this was either bad, or very good.
"I know that look well. That is the look a dream speaker has when she takes to a trance. Please tell us what sort've vision you've had before we continue." Keith couldn't hide the shock on his face. How did lord Gareth know that? What else could he do but tell of his dream.
"My lord, I belive I've had a vision about the battle of the 'Great Brothers' from legend." Keith continued to speak of his vision, " I believe that he battle is approaching"
Nobody spoke a word, the legend of the brothers was but a tale told to children. The parents would tell the naughty children of the great brothers, they would tell them that if they were naughty enough they would bring the brothers back and destroy the world. Of course that was proposterous, at least the part about the children being that naughty, otherwise Keith believed it wholeheartedly.
Suddenly a voice burst from the crowd breaking the silence, "All hail Sir Keith. Lord of the Nutters!" Laughter burst from every corner of the room. Keith's face turned red, not from embarassment, but from anger. He truley believed in his vision, and he was being mocked for it. Lord Gareth practically threw his Squire's blade back at him, "Perhaps you are not ready for such an honor, Squire." Turning his back again Lord Gareth walked out the back exit of the ceremonial chamber.
Keith was drawn to the side of the room, where the only person not laughing was the same girl who he saw in the market with the strange ears. Why was she not amused like everyone else in the damn room?
Keith's father put a hand on his shoulder, spinning Keith around. "How dare you bring shame to our family like this. Go and patrol the slums, and pray you make it through the day."
The slums? Nobody patroled the slums. The slums were where the poorest of the poor lived in Pandora. Many knights lost their lives at the hands of the assassains and thieves that call the slums their home, and apparently Keith's father was trying to add another name to the long list. Probably thinking that a death in the line of duty was the only thing that would redeem Keith; though he disagreed, Keith strood in the direciton of the slums, probably his last mission....
Mori had awakened to see everyone laughing at the man. She know she had the same vision as him, but they thought that he was crazy.
Mori followed Kieth. She figured he could use some help.
"Do you mind if I come along with you? I thought you might need some help..." Her ears were drooping because she didn't know if he would accept her or not.
"Pay up loser!" yelled Inek as he pounded his fist into the earth.
"Ya' know...for a prince you sure aren't to refined are ya' Souisano!" yelled back Gerik whom was Inek's partner in crime. Hesitantly, he gave Inek several remarkably beautiful jade jewels.
"Yo, ya' such a cheat-a-" Gerik stopped as a little girl came rushing towards them holding what appeared to be a rather large book.
"Mioni! You done with the book sis?" Inek said picking her up into the air as if she were a toddler.
"Br-Brother please put me down I'm not a child anymore!" Mioni said flustered a bit.
"Little brother...father demands that you meet him in his chambers" said Inek and Mioni's older brother Asutru. His voice was detached and cold at the same time and they could feel a hint of anger in his voice.
"Inek...compared to all your other deviant activities this is by far the worst son!" roared his father King Hilrty. Inek knew right away what he was talking about and it brought upon a slight tremble threw out his entire body.
"This vision you claimed to see has rooted itself deeply in our kingdom son. What say you to this in your defense and pray it soothed my anger..." Hilrty said with his eyes burned into Inek's.
"Father what I saw I can't fathom...it was like a nightmare only real...it happened right before my very eyes...I think...no, I tell YOU father it was real. I think it's a vision of what's to come and-" he was stopped by Asutru's keen blade at his throat.
"You tell father nothing but lies little brother and you will be punished for that and the toxic words you have spread..." Asutru said harshly.
"Inek my son...you are always true to your words and your heart and have never faltered once, but this is something that I will not have faith in..." King Hilrty said with a glow of shame into his eyes. Inek was crushed at that moment by the look his father gave him. It was the complete opposite of the proud and adorned look he usually received.
"...you have shamed the the great kingdom of Ka' yur Prince Inek Souisano and as king of this kingdom--King Hilrty Souisano of the Sacred Winds--I...." King Hilrty was stopped by an inner voice inside him that screamed not only in anger, but also of pain.
"Father...please you gotta listen to me about this! I haven't been so sure of anything like this in my entire life! Father!" cried Inek slapping away Asutru's blade.
"...I banish you...Prince Inek Souisano of the Sacred Winds...leave when today's sun and moon pass..." King Hilrty said lowly. It pained him deeply to do this to his most beloved son, but it was unavoidable. His son must leave the kingdom for his blasphemous claims of the supposed Sy' kunoit Winds and the Two Sons of Destruction.
A month later after his banishment, Inek had the vision again, but only this time he did not seem to wake up...
OOC: ...Gotta a killer headache that has plagued me for 2 days now. I'll likely change this a little but nothing to significant. It just feels like it's missing something.:animedepr
He awoke in a bed, the soft fabric folding around his weight in the middle. As his vision cleared, in confusion he looked up at his student, Arkainel.
"Sir are you okay?!" His large eyes and dark brown hair, enlighten by his excitedness easily overwhelmed the Captain in his current state.
"Yes..." He replied, trying to calm himself from his pupil's eagerness. "I just had a vision...A weird one.."
"What did it involve?" His student asked, going from one extreme to another.
"Well... It had to do with two boys.."
~~~~~

The next day, in his casual uniform,t he one that was oh, so red, embedded with the gold buttons. His loose black pants swayed with his legs movements, his two katanas held onto his waist by the belt and the loops that held the sheathes.

His long strides led him into the King's chambers where the elder man sat on his throne. The old man was adorned his his red-gold robes which led down to his ankles. His wrinkled face showed his extreme age and wisdom and the crown on his head brought his pure white hair to life.

The red carpet led straight to the King's throne. On either side of the center of the room there were crowds gathered here. In the crowds, eight guards stood, their hands on the hilts of their swords. Their muscles didn't move, they were trained to be extreme.

The green haired man walked up to the throne, taking a small bow, then looking into the thoughtful eyes of the old man. The King's mouth moved, and from it an old, hoarse voice filled the room. It didn't sound healthy, but yet, it was warm and filled you with safeness and joy.

"I called you here, Kaim."

"I know." He simply replied, his keen eyes glanced around the room. Already picking out the positions of the guards in the area.

"Then lets begin our discussion...."

Later that night, Mr. Price called Rose to the back of the stall. He'd closed the stall earlier then normal shocking most of the normal costumers.

"Do you know what you have done?" asked Mr. Price calmly.

Puzzled Rose could not answer. "This sketch is a prediction of what is to come, I fear. You know of the Brothers Legend?" Stated Mr. Price.

"Oh course I do. Everyone has heard of the Legend as a child. Its used to scare children." answered Rose not understanding what the Legend had to do with the sketch.

"You need to get out of here quickly! If the King we're to know what you have seen, he will have you killed for this!" cried Mr. Price.

Rose was stunned. She could not help but picking up Luna and cuddling the small cat. This was her home and she couldn't just leave it.

Mr. Price began to going through a large chest up against the back part of the tent only to pull out what looked to be a short sword.

"Take this with you," Mr. Price tossed her the weapon. " Its called a Chisakatana. Its a type of shorten Katana. Also take this." He then wrapped up the sketch. "Keep it with you but don't show it to anyone, got it. Now get going!" growled Mr. Price.

"Wait, what about Luna? Will you take care of her?" asked Rose.

"Take that dammed cat with you. I don't need the little monster. Now get going and be quiet about it!" Mr. Price scolded.

"Thank You, Mr. Price" cried Rose and through her arms around the old man it a hug.

"Dammit I said get going didn't I You stupid Girl!" growled Mr. Price however still returned the hug.

Rose and Luna left quietly. Making their way through the town of Desdemona. She noticed however soliors we're following her. They must have found out about the painting. There were tons of people in the stall when she had gone into the trance. Anyone of them could have reported her.

Rose manage to get of the town slipping past the gates just as they where about to close.

"Come on Luna. We need to go some place safe. That is once I figure out what place is safe." Rose told Luna as the ran from the city.

Luna was pretty sure no place would be safe for the two of them now.

The light was blinding as she opened her eyes. The smell of smoke and alcohol was no longer lingering in the air, neither were the loud obnoxious voices. Sitting up slowly, she rubbed her eyes and sleepily looked about the room. She was no longer in the bar, now she was in a large room covered in expensive furniture and freshly picked flowers.* What the...? Oh, I know this room.* Ripping off her covers, she found herself wearing a pair of red silk pajamas, also, her hand had been wrapped. Walking to the large window, she noticed a horde of guardsmen from the city riding towards the mansion.

Slowly cracking open the door, Micheal smiled and walked in. "I see your finally awake."

"What the hell am I doing here?"

"After I left there was quite a commotion at the bar, so I decided to come back. When I arrived, I saw you passed out on the floor."

Sighing, she replied. " Figures... what now?"

" Well, unfortunately the Morado guards have become aware of your "incident" last night. They've been searching for you all throughout the city, but don't worry, I'll get you out of town safely." Hearing the guards knocking on the door, he sighed and quickly walked down stairs. Hastily opening the door, he greeted them happily. " Good afternoon gentlemen. How may I assist you?"

" Were looking for Aleira Night. We have permission to search any house necessary...even yours."

Chuckling smugly, he rested his hand on the hilt of his sword. "Really? Let me speak to your superior officer."

The guard hesitated, but left to find the officer. Shortly after, he arrived with a tall older man at his side. " Sorry for the inconvenience sir. I will make sure my men never bother you again."

"I should hope so. Why the hell would I be paying you to find Aleira if she was here dumbass?!" Slamming the door in their face, he grinned and summoned for the maid to fetch his girl.

Aleira quickly ran down the steps, she was now fully clothed in her normal attire with her weapons securely fastened. Stopping in front of the man, she smiled slightly and kissed his cheek. " Thank you Micheal. You might be an annoying bastard, but your alright."

Micheal smirked and tried to kiss her, but ended up with a fist in his face. " Hold up little shit. Just cause I gave you a hug, doesn't mean you can get more..."

Laughing, he led her down to the cellar, revealing an ancient passage. " This has been here for centuries, I figured it was an old escape root from the great war of the Elders. It ends under an old cottage in the Forgotten Forest. Normally I would never suggest it, but concerning your situation and the skills I know you posses, I'm sure you'll do fine against the bandits scattered throughout the forest." Handing her a lit torch and a pouch of money he shooed her on her way.

Taking the torch and reluctantly taking the money, she started down the ancient passage. Unaware of the danger awaiting her.

Keith wasn't sure why, after the embarassment he suffered, he was so quick to take the young girl up on her offer. Maybe it was how lonley he felt after the "vision", that nobody would ever believe him. Maybe it was the young girls eyes that seemed to say "I know what you've seen, and you're not alone.".

The two didn't speak much on the walk to the slums. Keith had wondered if the girl was up to the challenge of the slums. There were wicked and evil people who lived in the bowels of Pandora, and they surely had already heard of Keith's fit during the ceremony. The girl finally broke the silence when she spoke, "My name's Mori, and I believe you."

The simple sentiment made Keith tear up. The vision had torn him up so much, the thought that sometime soon he would lose everything he had vowed to protect. Then those same people practically spit on him, and sent him to his death. But yet this girl, Mori, believed him...

"It's nice to make your acquantance Mori, I'm Keith. I believe we came across each other one other time?" The reference to the time the two's eyes met in the market just days before made Mori turn away, Keith thought she may have been blushing.

"You scared me when you started to approach me, some of you knights aren't very nice."

"Squire....Squire is what I am and apparently all I'll every be after today." Keith's head ducked down so much, he barley noticed the man approaching the duo from the side.

"Don't fret young Squire of Pandora, for I know what it is you saw today. And I know what it means for you and the young girl who shared in your vision." Keith glanced to Mori, something about this guy made Keith believe every word he said. That also meand Mori had a similar vision, or for that matter the same vision.

"You both are to become part of something that only a few of us know about. The truth behind the brothers, but alas your words will be lost on the ones who pursue you this moment." Keith's hands immediateally went to his blade strapped to his back. "You cannot overcome the number of men the king and your father are sending this way. They want to kill you and make it look like you were killed in the line of duty, save your family name and the like." Keith's jaw dropped to the floor, he had been stupid not to suspect this, and what was worse is now Mori was endanger because of him.

"Behind me is a tunnel leading out of the city, when you exit turn east and head away from Pandora. I will stall, but they will follow quickly. I will try telling them you were planning on going west, but I cannot guarantee your safety. Quickly GO!"

The old man stepped aside revealing the old sewer grate behind him. Keith ran to the entrance and bekoned for Mori to follow, he wasn't sure though if she would, or if she would take her own route. Would their adventure end here, or were they truley destined to travel together?

Mori quickly ran after Keith. She knew her abilities could help. It was getting much darker, and harder for them to see.

"It seems to be getting darker... I'll light the way." She used her Kitsune-bi, fox fire, to light up the paths. A small fire appeared in her hand as they walked forward.

"I hear voices... I think we should hurry."

Denia sat up with a start and looked around her. She tried to get up but fell again when greeted by a migrane. She sat on the ground, like a child as she looked at the dissaproving looks the others gave her. The whispers surrounded her.
"What happened to her.........?"
"Must've been..........."
As she scanned the crowd, all the horrid memories of her vision stormed through her mind. She was suddenly filled with fear and jumped up!
"People of Hyperion listen! I am sure that almost all of you know of the legend of the Brothers."
"Yes, of course we know that! It's a bed time story! Why, you were told it yourself! What's your po-"
"SHUT UP! I have had a vision. The Brothers, they..........they are going to attack our city! It's up to us! We must stop the Brothers to save our city from total destruction!"
A laugh came from the crowd.
"Miss Denia, you cannot be serious. Everyone and I mean everyone knows that the legend is just a myth. A simple myth. Can you not understand that? You of all people?"
A young man made his way through the crowd and walked towards Denia.
"Look, we do not want you to ruin this town with your pointless ramblings of doom. You have never done this before, so I suspect something's wrong. This is what we shall do."
Denia stared at him, seething with rage. The one time she actually speaks her mind about something important and no one listens? She didn't hear anything he said as she tossed over her vision throughout her mind. The words coming next however, surprised her.
"I regret to say this, as you are greatly valued, but we are forced to put you into exile until you are ready to come back and are sane."
Denia was astonished, she stood there, mouth agate and stared at them.
"Denia, please go willingly with the soldiers. They will take you out of the city gates."

The young man turned around and walked back into the crowd.
Denia offered no resistance, as she new it was useless. She just let the soldiers carry her off and dump her outside.
She wondered what was going to happen next as she saw the hot Hyperion sun setting over the horizon.

The king's solemn face looked into the face of Kaim. Kaim's eyes were squinted, the features on his face cold. The vision had changed him. From the happy-go-lucky captain of the guard, to something much worse.

"Is there anything to discuss?" The voice snapped from Kaim's mouth.

The King looked at him. Kaim's disrespect was getting a little tiring, even for the wise old King to deal with.

"We know of the vision you had."

Kaim's face turned to one of disgust for but a second, Arkainel had told the King the story. Kaim sighed.

"Yes. I had the vision."

"Do you know the punishment for the blasphemies you've done? Naiad does not want anything to do with them." The King's eyes moved to eight men around the room.

"Kill him."

Eight armored men stepped forward, each with their swords drawn. Kaim drew his katana, ready for the battle. They circled him, and his mind was on the fight. Remember the flow..The thought coursed through his head over and over. The first man lunged, and he pulled his arms up, dodging the attack. The momentum carried his blade down, cutting into the man's both arms. A second man, behind him lunged towards him. At the end of his attack, all Kaim could do was duck. He moved underneath the guard's blade and impaled the man quickly, watching both of them fall to the ground.

The six modified their formation, circling Kaim once again. The King looked at Kaim, disappointmentson his face. One charged him, he moved from the way and grabbed the man's arm. He swung him, throwing him into one of the other incoming men, causing them to hit the ground. With extreme force, he threw the sword through the abdomen of both men. The sound of footsteps running at him flashed through Kaim's ears as he moved, the enemy's sword slashed into the first man on the ground. He pulled his sword from the bodies, but it was too late. They had set a trap for Kaim, and the man was already behind him. Kaim did the best he could to dodge, but the cold steel edge could be felt as it scraped across his shoulder.

Kaim stood, the blood not visible on his crimson shirt. The four men stood him front of him. He was breathing heavy. Kaim turned around, facing the King. The elderly man shouted.

"Get him, he's tiring!" Kaim sprinted straight at the King. The huge window behind the throne was throwing sunlight into the room. Kaim hoped. This was his last hope, if it didn't work, he'd be dead. His first foot planted onto the arm chair of the throne, the next foot on the top of the head rest and he leaped. Throwing his arms over his head, he crashed through the window, rolling in midair, and crashed onto the ground of the room underneath the the window. He got to his feet, running, and leaping once more, grabbing onto the edge of the castle wall. He ran to the other side, adrenline poured through his veins, his eyes wide in anxiety. If he messed this up, he'd be dead. He hopped over the other side of the wall, landing on another roof about 10 feet down. He rolled, suppressing the impact and then bounded down, leaping into the streets. He was safe for now...

Aveza woke up back inside the theatre. She was surrounded by men in armor, but Zelos was in front of her. "You had better have a damn good explanation, girl." he snarled. Aveza payed him no mind, she was curled up into a quivering ball, still shocked from her vision. "WELL?! Let's have it, then!" Zelos demanded. Aveza looked up nervously. She swallowed, and spat out the story of her vision.

Zelos blinked in shock as he stared at Aveza. But he quickly snapped out of his awed state. "HAH! You dare try to spout such drabble! It is nothing but a mere myth! You're obviously doing this as a cry for attention!"

"No! It's true! I-I swear it!" Aveza cried. Zelos smirked.

"Well, you wanted attention, and now you'll get it! Guardsmen, put her in one of the dungeon cells and see if that teaches her to make up silly stories!" Zelos commanded. Two guards grabbed Aveza and dragged her away to the cells.

Aveza sat in her cell, silent. She did not cry or struggle. *Why try?* she thought. Suddenly, she heard a rustle come from the other side of the dark cell. She pressed herself up against the wall.

"You...you are one of...them..." a wispy voice breathed out from where the rustle came.

"O-one of what?!" Aveza choked out. The rustling creature stepped forward. It was a gray, furry lump about the size of a six year old child. "Wha?!" Aveza gasped at the sight of the odd little fuzz stump.

"Oh...forgive my lack...of manners. I am...Laurenz." the lump sighed. Out of nowhere, a hand appeared (probably having wriggled its way through the hair) and brushed away some hair to reveal ancient, misty eyes. "Now then...about earlier... You are...one of the chosen warriors. You see...I am a...mystic. I see things...you are one...of the brave heros that will...save this world...from the brothers...of the legend." Laurenz wheezed. Aveza sighed.

"Sorry, but it doesn't look like that will be happening any time soon. How can I save the world if I'm stuck in here?" she asked. Laurenz chuckled (though it sonded more like choking).

"You...my girl...are going to escape." he proclaimed. Aveza opened her mouth to question, but Laurenz only shushed her and beckoned with a bony finger. He hobbled over to the back wall of the cell, the one with a window (barred, of course). Laurenz stood in front of the wall. "Pay close attention...young lady...for you will soon...have the same gift...that I am about to show you." he said. He raised one of his hands, though it wasn't touching the wall. Suddenly, the wall blasted back, creating a large hole. Aveza was amazed, but she was also focused. She leaped out the hole. "Take care...youngster!" gasped Laurenz, waving at the now exiled girl.

It was another beautiful day in the town of Triton. Blue skies, nice breeze, very little clouds. A perfect day for fishing. Which was great news for everyone in the town, since it was known as a great fishing village. Almost all of the people in town relied on the fish for food and money. Bron Branwen walked to her special fishing spot, with her fishing spear and net. She walked the streets naked so that she wouldn't get her pretty black dress ruined when she swam out to her spot. Her guardian, Fechin had made it for her. Although he was a fisher like most men in the town, his favorite hobby when the fish weren't jumping was sowing. He gave it to her as a gift to try to cheer her up, since she had lost both of her parents.

On her way to the water, Bron wished several people a good morning. They weren't surprised at the girl's state of undress, since thanks to her blindness, she often didn't bother to dress herself. So they accepted it out of pity for her. Finally, Bron reached the water. She grabbed on tight to her spear and net and swam to her secret fishing spot. It was a nice patch of rocks where a lot of fish gathered. She started throwing her spear and trying to make a catch.

Several fish later, Bron started to reel them in with her net this time. However, after catching quite a few fish in the net, she pulled hard but the net was heavy. Bron slipped on the wet rocks and fell backwards. She hit her head and passed out.

Bron got up slowly and rubbed her head. She looked at her hand, and was relieved to see that there was no blood on it. So her head wasn't bleeding. But then it hit her. She could see. She didn't know how, but she could see for the first time ever. She turned around quickly to see her village for the first time. What she saw though, shocked her. The whole village was on fire. She swam back quickly, forgetting her net and spear.

Bron ran to her house first. It was as she had feared, Fechin was dead. He was covered in blood and his body was cut up badly. Bron started to cry, when she felt someone standing behind her. A tall man, dressed for battle was standing in front of her. However, before she could look at his face he reached out his hands towards her.

"You won't be needing these anymore." He said as he pulled out her eyes.

Bron screamed and the man pushed her inside of her house and had some men set it on fire. Bron screamed even more as she burned alive.

Bron woke up with a start, sweating badly. So it was all just a dream. She couldn't see, and the village wasn't on fire. She swam back to her house, but took her time. Thankfully, Fechin was there and he wasn't dead. She ran and hugged him.

"Woah, what's gotten into you little fish? Missed your Fechin, huh?" He asked.

Bron took a deep breath, and explained her whole dream to him. However, Fechin didn't say a word when she finished telling it to him.

"So yeah, isn't that silly? Just a bad dream, right?"

Still no answer from him.

"Fechin, what's wrong?" She asked.

Fechin grabbed her by the shoulders.

"Listen, little fish. Forget you ever saw all of that, okay? Just forget it and we'll pretend it never happened. And..."

Fechin seemed worried. Soft footsteps told Bron what made him sound so worried. It was Bairre, an important man in the village. He was one of the eldest in the village, so his word carried a lot of weight in the town of Triton.

"What's going on here, Fechin?" Bairre asked.

Fechin tried to convince Bairre that nothing was wrong, but he wasn't easily fooled. He was too wise for that.

"I know what's going on. I just wanted to give you the chance to tell me yourself. Since you won't though, I will tell you that I already know what little Bron has seen. I heard the whole thing. And I am afraid, she will have to leave. I am very sorry, Fechin. But you know she can't stay here now."

Bron listened as Bairre slowly walked away. She turned to Fechin and started to cry.

"Fechin, what's wrong? Why do I have to leave?"

Fechin hugged her and let her cry a little while longer.

"There, there little fish. It is okay, we will meet again. It's just, something you have to do. I know it is not your fault though, and I have a feeling that you will have an important place in the world soon. So no more tears, okay? The ocean is full enough. It doesn't need to be filled anymore."

This got a laugh out of Bron, and Fechin smiled and continued.

"Now, you'd better hurry and leave. Don't forget the gift that your father left you. I will pack you some food for the journey."

Later, Bron waved to Fechin as she left. She had her dress, food, and flute in her pack. She didn't feel like getting dressed, so she just decided to do it later and make the trip nude for now. The gift that her father gave to her, the family rifle, was slung over one shoulder with her pack. It was going to be a long journey, and a hard one without her Fechin, but she had to be brave for him. So she knew in her heart she would make it on her own somehow. She started to whistle a tune. Things were looking up for her already, now that she had her spirits up.

Keith and Mori dove headlong into the tunnels, which turned out to be a mistake they wouldn't have a chance of repeating. Down, down they fell Keith cursing the length of the 30 foot fall.

They man had told them it was a tunnel out of the city, he neglected to mention there was a ladder and it was a 30 foot drop, straight into the city sewer system.

The running water quickly swept them towards the shinning light of the exit. Suddenly Mori's voice broke Keith's terrified scream. "You should probably quit screaming Keith. The real bad parts only about to happen, isn't this the South wall with the waterfall?"

Keith in fact did stop screaming, at that very instance as he suddenly remembered he never really knew where the 80 foot waterfall came from. "Oh dear god!" Keith screamed as the two plunged over the edge and towards the river below.

The next thing Keith new he was falling, this time he wished it had been a mere thirty foot drop. Then something hit him, "Mori, I saw you weilding fire magic. Any chance you know anything that can stop our fall?" The young girl shook her head and Keith once again resumed his childlike scream.

The actual crash into the water had enough force to knock the wind from Keith's lungs, which really wasn't a good thing considering he was wearing heavy armor and forced into a raging river.

Then everything went black.

Keith awoke on the bank moments later fully aware he wasn't dead, and fully aware he didn't know how. He looked up to find Mori standing above him pointing at the entrance to the sewer system at the man and the approaching arrow. It clanged off a rock only a few feet away from Keith's head.

Keith jumped to his feet and thought about what the old man had said. "Let's go West Mori, we'll double back after we get out of sight. They'll be in pursuit quickly so keep up." Keith took off West with Mori not far behind. Hopefully they could get far enough out of sight before they sent out the search party. Sure this girl knew some Magic, but he doubted it would be enough. And he was still unsure if he was injured in the fall, and knew he couldn't keep more then a couple soldiers off this girl he swore to himself he would protect.

Rose and Luna wandered around for few days. Not really sure on a destination. After another day Rose couldn't take it any more and just through herself down not wanting to move again. "This is ridiculous Luna!" cried Rose.

Luna looked at her mistress crawling onto Roses lap and began to give kitty cat kisses. Luna knew that Rose was feeling hurt and rejected all because of one sketch. The poor girl after all couldn't help what she was.

A howl broke across the way. A black shape started to run towards Rose. Quickly getting to her feet with Luna in her arms began to run away from the shape coming.

"This is just bloody great, Luna. If things weren't bad enough now we're being chased by a some coyote." Rose said breathlessly.

The canine caught up the Rose with out much effort and over took her cutting off her path. Rose understood turning around a running would do to nothing to help.

Instead she pulled out the Chisakatana Mr. Price had given her. Unsure of what good it would do considering she has very little training with any type of weapon.

"Oh, put that stupid pointed stick away."

Rose just stared open mouth as the coyote changed it a young women. The women was darkly tanned wearing short dress matching the pelt of the coyote. Her hair was black, braided down her back and her feet were bare. What really got Rose was the woman's eyes, a golden color she had seen circled back pupils.

Luna jumped out Rose arms and started walking to the women.

"Wait Luna where are you going?" Rose said as she tried to grab for the little cat. Luna avoided her reach and went right up the women purring.

The women bent down and patted Luna "Well your a cutie aren't you."

She then stood back up. "Well introductions are in order I thing. I know this kitten is Luna and you little one are Rose étoile. I'm Kojootti, its nice to meet you."

Rose was still a stated of shock and didn't want to anwser the strange women who a few minutes ago was a coyote.

Kojootti didn't seem to mind not being answered and kept taking "The reason I appeared before you little one is to inform you about your destiny. Your not the only one who has had a vision."

"I'm not." Rose whispered. There were others like her. She was not some alone in larger a picture.

"Of course not. If there was only one of you then the world will be in more trouble then what it is. The others and yourself are going play a large role in the future." laughed Kojootti.

"Well I'm glad you have some much confidence in use" Rose replied sarcastically.

Kojootti smiled kindly. "Its a lot to take in a short time, I know little one but it needs to be done. Now listen you are to head towards the sunset."

"Will I find others there? Others who have visions like me?" asked Rose.

"I can not say." replied Kojootti. "I shall leave you now. Remember to go to the sunset."

The women image faded slowly, a sad smile was last seen on her face. There once again stood the coyote.

"Kojootti?" asked Rose. The coyote only reply was a lick to Luna's face and a lick to Rose's. The coyote then ran off in a direction of where the sun was setting.

"Well Luna, I guess there's no harm in doing what she asked is there?" Rose voiced. Luna gave a purr in return.

"Lets go then." Rose said as she stated walking to the sunset. Luna trotting along at her heels.

OOC: Much longer than the ususal posts... bear with me...

~~~~~~~~~~~
Mori kept shooting fireballs at the party while running. She knew what was to the west. This was the route that led to her old forest home.
"I know! I'll open the gate to my old home! The gate will close immediately after we enter, and they will never find it, because only I know how to open it!"
They were nearing some trees that made a near-perfect arch. Mori began to whisper some words. "Rokotsu za kado, natsukashii kanshisha no za hayashi..."
Instantly, a green aura surrounded those trees. As they ran through the forest, Mori watched as the group that had been following them stopped, apparently confused.
"Let's get into my little house before the others find you. They will be angry if they find a yosomono, an outsider."
But it was too late.
"MORI!!!!! How dare you bring an outsider to our sacred home! You know humans are to never find us!"
There stood a fox. It had nine tails. It was a golden orange, with red on the very tips of its tails and ears and on the lower area of its legs and its paws.
"Senpai! Please!!! There were other humans trying to kill him! I couldn't let them hurt him! After all, we both had a vision involving the Brothers!"
"I see... I knew this was going to happen..."
"Y-you knew!? Why didn't you tell me, Senpai?!"
"I was going to tell you, but you left before I could. As most of us know, that is no mere story. It actually occurred. I had a vision of my own 900 or so years ago. It showed me two people. One was of our own kind, the other a human. I will give some things to aid you."
"Really?"
"Of course. for the human, the power of his ancestors: the green lightning. For you, Mori, Nenshou Kiba, burning fang. It is our sacred blade. Take care of it."
"I will."
They wallked into Mori's house for some quick rest before they would have to leave the next morning.
A few hours later, still bewildered that creatures such as the ones he was presently with existed, Keith watched the last of the soldiers disapear back towards the castle.
"Mori, are you ready to get underway?" Keith wouldn't dare let her know that, though he felt they should wait awhile longer, her "family" gave him the creeps.
The two set out with a quick goodbye, and began circling around the castle to head in the direction the old man told them.
"So how long has your family lived in the forest Mori? I've never noticed anything like you before."
Mori looked at him and smiled, "We tend to shy away from humans. Most of you don't understand us, and think of us as 'creatuers'." Those words stung Keith a little, to think he was just one of those same fickle creatures that she was speaking of didn't feel good.
"My families protected the forest for hundreds of years now, it was supposed to be my turn, but as you can tell I'm not afraid of you humans as the rest of my people are. My family really doesn't care for that."
Keith really felt connected to the young girl, they both shared these visions, and now their familes didn't understand them and looked down at them for it.
They walked in silence for a few more miles, never saying much more then needed to be said until Mori's ears perked up and she halted them. "Somethings coming." Was all she had time to say before the 6 men on horseback blasted out of the brush, a full head of steam headed towards the two travelers.
"The Captain was right, this was the direction they were headed in."
"Damn, Mori get behind me and look for anyone moving through the bush. I'll handle these nobodies." Keith rushed towards the first man on horseback. "Do you really think you can take an Alexander?"
In a single fluid motion Keith unsheathed his sword, spun, and dismounted half of the cocky lead man.
Even before the blood splatter touched the ground, Keith spun and engaged the next. Not risking a glance back, Keith heard Mori yelp signaling there was trouble. Before he could react he felt the man move out of the bushes behind him, and suddenly there was an intense heat that almost made Keith lose focus.
He nearly jumped when he glanced back and saw the charred remains of the ambusher lying behind him. "Mori...was that you?" He shoved the man off and buried his blade into his chest, kicked him away and went after the third when he heard "Yeah that was me, my people have the ability to conjure fire."
Though there was a hundred things he wanted to say to her, most of them involving "you could've told me that sooner", all he could muster was a thank you as he cut the third man down. 4 down, hopefully only 3 more to go.
Inek awoke in the darkness that was Cressida's night. He was still rather upset and bewildered because of what happened earlier. He couldn't explain any of it at all.
"Father...what I saw I know was real...I mean, how many people have freaky visions like that all of a sudden..." Inek yelled to himself. As he began to dress, several royal guardsmen marched into his chambers grunting with each step they took.
"Prince Inek Souisano, we are to escort you out of the royal kingdom of Ka' yur and into the Badlands of the Syio...by order of-" the guardsman stopped as Inek's little sister came running into the room.
"Mioni what are you doing here...?" Inek said lowly trying to put a smile on his face.
"Brother...I'm coming with you and I won't accept no for an answer!" Mioni said with great conviction. The guardsmen quickly stopped Mioni as she tried running towards Inek's side.
"Don't worry about me lil' sis...I'll be fine...I promise." Inek said kindly to her as he stroked the side of her face.
"...but..." Mioni stopped as Inek began to walk out of the room and into the main hall. His stride she noticed was full on pep and life rather than shame and distaste.
"...travel well dear brother..." she said sadly.
"Don't be sad Mioni otherwise I won't bring you back anthing!" Inek said laughing while he exited the castle.
"Be careful, this heat can sometimes get to your head...."
The words span around in Denia's head as she stumbled through the desert; void of any direction. The swirling winds offered not comfort to her as it was as hot as the sun itself.
"What am I going to do? I know what I said was crazy but what I saw was REAL. Heh, 'this heat can sometimes get to your head.' Everyone knows that you get accustomed to the heat, and you can't go crazy. But then again there was old Carline. She was exiled because she saw something too and they blamed it on the heat. I wonder if she's still alive. Probably not, that was when I was a child."
Denia stopped when she thought about what she said.
"She was exiled because she saw something too! That means that I'm not crazy! The only problem is........where to find her." Denia, filled with a new sense of hope walked faster and with a purpose. She was going to find her, no matter what.
