So, what are you guys doing for New Year's? Having a party? Spending it with some one? What are your resolutions? Do you have any stories you'd like to share about New Years' past?

I'm not sure what I'll be doing...probably just staying up till midnight and later, sipping apple cider. Yeah, it's boring... As for my resolutions, I have one. And that is...DO 400 PUSH-UPS IN ONE DAY!!! Don't ask, it's a long story.

Okay, then! Ready, set, spill it!!!:catgirl:

I'm really not sure what I'm going to do on NYE. Originally we were actually planning to have a scary movie night. But that was kind of a fall-back plan.

Now most people in the family have plans, so I'm really not sure what's on the agenda now.

My sister wanted us to do a dinner cruise in Victoria Harbour (where they're doing all kinds of stuff, including fireworks obviously). But that was too expensive with such little notice, so that's off the list.

I kind of wish I were in Sydney for NYE this year, since I think it'll be the biggest yet.

So at this point I don't really know what I'm going to do. Anyone have a free space for me at their place? :catgirl:

Sure thing James, except I think the flight here would cost even more than the little dinner cruise. O_O;

I might be going to someones house for New Years, I'm not sure yet. Nothing to exciting.

Don't think I'll be doing much this year. My original plans are shot because my brother is going to be out of state, and I'm moving to AZ in less than two weeks, so things are crazy kinds of hectic at my house right now (although in as organized a manner as I can manage, as strange as that sounds).

I might buy a bottle of Jack Daniels and just hang at my house and get buzzed. Or else go over my friend Eric's house and watch movies and play video games, (which would mean no alcohol, since I would need to drive home).

Welllll, me being who I am and that is to say someone who is finally dating someone popular...

Well not that I'm not popular too. I've been invited to an adult party, a family gathering that involves a lot of time spent praying for the future, and another kickback with beer pong.

Then my boyfriend's been invited to one party in posh San Francisco area, one in downtown Chinatown, another in the area we live in, two in the city just south of us, and another on a boat.

Our plan is to go north to San Francisco and work our way down across the bay so the drunker we get [not really], the closer we are to home. IT'S GENIUS!

I shall be going to the infamous Village of the Gays... or Gay Village... for New Years with all my friends. I'm only taking a tenner with me because every time I spend about about fifty quid I don't get drunk but last week I took about three pound and got rat arsed.

I'm going to have a good time though and not get drunk hahaaa. But I will end up drunk because it turns out I have a little fanclub who like to buy me drink. It should be a good time!

And on the second of January it's mine and my brother's party at a club. My 17th and his 18th... that means my family will buy me drinks =3.

Hm, good point. :catgirl:

I guess I will just have to be there in spirit, heheh. :p

I may have to have my scary movie night at a different time, now that everyone is going to be busy. I have no idea what I'm going to do though.

I was thinking of having my parents over for dinner. Hm, we'll see. :catgirl:

Make sure to tenderize properly. Parents tend to be pretty tough, so it needs some extra care. Perhaps some lemon-pepper seasoning to finish it. :animesmil

Hm, ironically if my dog could read this, her mouth would water. If you visit and look in any way sickly or injured, she gets a little gleam in her eye. A little "that would do well roasted" look.

Hm.....................actually, I hope that this year I won't sleep through New Years. I've always came into the new year asleep. I just don't understand why. I apply myself so much and still, I fall asleep at 11:59. :animedepr As for resolutions, I plan to finish at least two manga series and keep my room clean every day including my closet. I'll be moving again next year so hopefully my room will be easier to keep up.:animedepr

I'll probably end up going to a small party with friends. We'll watch movies and just chill until the new year starts. Other than that I don't have any plans at all.

As for resolutions, I already set mine in motion. Less work so I'll have more time to do stuff I enjoy. Like spending time with people. I was too damn busy this past year.

Oh and if you haven't read this yet, I would. Heh.

If I was at home I'd do the fun and financially irresponsible thing and get shhhmammered at a club.
Buut, alas, I've lost my legality here in Vanland so that's out. I wasn't planning on doing anything but I was just notified on Facebook that I was invited to a "Love Actually" themed party. Bizarre. Yes, they do want us to dress up.

We'll see about that one.

Meh. I already went to go visit my mother/father/sisters-in-law for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Besides that, I guess I'll keep perfecting playing with Captain Falcon on Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. Other than that and checking up on the OB fam', i'll have my annual 'New Year's 'ritual'' with my wife, hehe. Oh, and spending time with the children isn't all bad either. I have a 9 year old and a 1 year old. The youngest is sleep and the oldest won't go. I wish I had a warm storage closet with room for two that wasn't full of junk right now.

... Anyway, Happy New Years to all!

UPDATE: Also, I made two new years resolutions that I plan to keep. I placed them in my siggy so that I wont forget.

Well it's 2009 here now and this is my first post for the new year.

As for New Years Eve- I worked from 3-11 and left after doing my shift change rounds with my co-worker.

Right now I'm talking to my boyfriend who is currently in British Columbia- so it's still 2008 there and I'm just telling him how great the New Year is. LOL

Oh and as for New Years resolutions, I'm joining a gym with a co-worker on Friday because I am finally gonna stop being the heavy girl! Wee!

Also I'm gonna try to be quieter and less mean and more calm.

Happy New Year's, everybody! :animesmil
I'm spending my New Year's with my aunt and her two daughters (her husband and two sons are up in north Jersey with his mother), my sister, my father, and my dog. One of my resolutions is to quit procrastinating so much on my writing. My other is to discover the secret to life (:p).
Have a great New Year's Day!

Happy New Year everyone. I brought in the new year with my church. Had a blast and everything. Probably something I'll continue to do for a long time especially since it beats out sitting around doing nothing and hearing the usual gun shots.

Happy New Years, Happy New Years! It's a great 2009 day and the first of many days to come. I didn't drink but I did spend a majority of 'time' with the Mrs. before I went to sleep. I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year and start my first post, lol. 499 more to go. :D

UPDATE: I decded to change my Resolution postage to 400 instead of 500.
