chibi-master
Umm...I sorta need some advice. I'm looking for some good yaoi and/or shonen-ai (mainly the first)manga to either hunt down and buy, or read online. Does anyone have any suggestions? :animesmil
Dagger
Well, there's an incredible variety out there. For starters, what kind of stories/characters do you like? :) For that matter, it might also help to know what kinds of BL you dislike. ~Dagger~
chibi-master
Okay then, absolutely NO musical bands. Which means please, don't recommend something like Gravitation. And hopefully not an OVERWHELMING amount of drama. That can get a little irritating. Other than that, it should be fine.:catgirl: As for characters, I would be very pleased if one of them was really aggressive. I don't like it when both of the guys are shy, they often spend far too long beating 'round the bush. And I'm impatient.
Dagger
Well, then I'll just recommend some authors instead of specific titles, since most BL (released here) is only one or two volumes. Kawai leans a little more toward drama, and Fujiyama toward comedy; Yugi Yamada's works also tend to be more comedic, but all three have a lot of slice-of-life elements. Chances are you've already tried something by Youka Nitta (etc.) and know whether or not you like her stuff, but what the hey. Tell me if you want more details on any of these manga-ka, or if they're totally not what you're looking for. ~Dagger~
chibi-master
Thanks, Dagger! I'll be doing some research on these...:catgirl:
Applegoo
Shonen-ai: Try Loveless. The first manga is a bit confusing but it gets easier to understand once you read the second volume. Yaoi: Junjo Romantica. This is my top favorite. It's just reallyreally good xD. Love Pistols is a weird one, but it's original and I like it a lot as well. Okane ga Nai isn't bad either :3.
