RPG Hunters: Grand Apocalypse

Cal looked around the yard, smiling as the sun wrapped him in its warmth. "I am not sure how much longer I can do this, but," He smiled weakly at himself and then closed his eyes and shook his head. "No, no thoughts like that. I still have alot of work to do here. I do not need to be thinking thoughts like that." He let out a sigh and then looked at the building behind him. The place that he started to call home.

"I wonder what the little one is up to. I think, maybe I should wake her?" He began to walk back inside and then up to his room. Ho took a shower, an put on his cloaths. He looked at his halbert and then grabbed it. Putting it on his back he walked out of his room and started down the hall.

As he passed Night's room he spoted the three other hunters. As he walked past he smiled at them. "Good day, hope you all have slept well. I don't mean to be rude, but excuse me." He gavethem a small nod and then continued on his way down the hall.

"Hey, Cal. Where are you going? You want an apple?" Cal stopped and turn to see Rasic holding out an apple from his claws.

"No thank you. I don't eat fruit. It causes me to become sick. I don't think the little one eats them either. Not sure though. I haven't seen her eat them, but I haven't heard her say that she doesn't like them." He scratched his head and then smiled again.

"You going to see Kurai? You really like her, don't you?" Ty smiled at him as he looked up from his spot on the ground next to Thea.

Cal shook his head and then looked Ty in the eyes. "Do not get the wrong idea, my friend. Its not a matter of me liking her. I only trust her." He smiled, "And besides, she is a little young for me, no?"

"So, tell me, does she remind you of someone?" Thea opened one eye and looked up at Cal as he took a step back.

"Does she, no. Not really. If anything, you remind me of someone I once knew in my former life. But its nothing special. So, if you will excuse me."

"Hang on, what do you mean, you trust her? Are you saying that you don't trust us?" Rasic looked at him, a little bit of confusion in his eyes.

"Oh no, don't take it like that." Cal's expresion became distant as he looked from hunter to hunter. "I trust very few people in this world. Thea, of course, I do trust. I trust Kurai because I know that she will never let me down if I truely need her help. But, as for you and Ty, Rasic, I do not harbor as much. Say I was captured, and I was not able to fight. If either Thea or Kurai showed up, then I know what my chances would be. I could relax a small bit, knowing that they would give it their all." He looked at Thea who had closed her eyes and had a little smirk.

"But, when it comes to you two, I would not leave my life in your hands to save me by yourselves. If you do not recall, I refused to just stand by when you showed up last night. If it were Kurai that had come back instead of you two, then I would probably just stood there, trying to to use up any more of my strenght. I do not trust either of you enough."

With that Cal turned on his heel and then started to walk down the halway once more, leaving the three other hunters to themsleves.

As he made his way to Kurai's door he stopped. He let out a sigh and then smiled. Lightly, he knocked on the door leading to her room. "Kurai, you awake? You don't need to be sleeping all day, you know. Its too nice a day to be cooped up in there." He smiled once more as he heard noises behind the door.

[FONT=Comic Sans MS][COLOR=Purple]Kurai was having a wonderful dream. She actually saw Night relaxing. He wasn't yelling in the dream. She wandered around, enjoying the sweet silence that came with a relaxed leader.

Just as she was getting complimented by Night in her dream, she awakened, falling out of her bed.

"I knew it was too good to be true..." Kurai said, irritated by the fact she had just woke up from one of her favorite dreams. She then heard a voice. She instantly knew it belonged to Cal.

[/COLOR][/FONT][FONT=Comic Sans MS][COLOR=Purple]"Kurai, you awake? You don't need to be sleeping all day, you know. Its too nice a day to be cooped up in there."[/COLOR][/FONT]

[COLOR=Purple][FONT=Comic Sans MS]Kurai sighed as she walked to the door. She grabbed her notebook and a box of markers and opened the door.

"I'm not going to sleep all day. I just wanted to make sure I got plenty of sleep. Is that all you wanted to see me for, Cal?"

Kurai started sketching Cal. She hadn't made a picture of him yet. Kurai did, however, have a drawing of Night hanging on the wall. It was done from memory since she couldn't get close enough to him to actually do a better job. The same was for the drawing of Thea. She didn't have one of Rasic because she didn't feel like drawing him.

"After I finish this drawing, I'm going to get something to eat. Don't let anyone bother my scythe while I'm out of my room."

A heavy thud shook Night's door as he hurled one of his boots at it.
"WHY IS EVERYONE OUTSIDE MY ROOM WHILE I'M TRYING TO SLEEP!?"
Night pulled the pillows over his head, grumbling loudly. He wanted at least three more hours of sleep. Just three.

Heather smiled at Benoit, then gently pulled a seat over to the foot of the bed. Sitting calmly with hands folded in her lap, a gentle smile still on her lips. Her eyes followed his every move with the intensity that insanity brings.
"If you please, are there any questions other then my marriage eligibility that you would like to ask me sir?"
