Find a donor on YouTube?

I was watching our local news station last night before coming into work, and a single headline caught me; even enough so to come into work late.

It seems that people are now posting videos of themselves as "personals". Rather personals specifically targeting mothers, or rather mothers that are attempting to find sperm donors.

I guess I can't grip this. I can't understand what would possess a person to search for a sperm donor online? I know that picking a "prime stud" is a priority for many mothers to be, but would you really go as far as searching online?

Or guys would you ever consider putting a video of yourself online offereing this service?

This has to be one of the most pathetic things I've ever read. Seriously what right-minded woman would ever choose her sperm-donor based on his Youtube video ? I can see it now "Oh I like his video but I just don't like his taste in music based off those AMVs". :animesmil

All joking aside I have to wonder about the kind of guys who would advertise on Youtube as sperm-donors. It comes across as a little sinister as well as pathetic really.

Why in the name of the green green grass on the earth would anyone do that!? :animeangr

Somehow I'd thought I'd seen it all until I saw this post.

And to answer your question, I would NEVER put a video of myself online looking for a date. That's just silly and wrong in my opinion.

I'm in agreement with Gavin. Seriously, I think any woman in her right mind would never use YouTube to find a donor. That's just.... o_O WTF-inducing really.

Though it's equally WTF-inducing that guys are advertising themselves in this manner. I know I sure as hell wouldn't.

All I can do is shake my head at this. I shouldn't be surprised by it, but damn if that isn't one of the stupidest things I've read in a long time.
