I go back and forth between using the pink and the blue. I used the geisha briefly when it had the Lucky Star Christmas banner on it, but that's the only time. The indigo, though nicely done, is too dark so other than to look at it, I never kept it for any length of time.

On another note, no school and homework is divine. I'm really glad I decided to not take classes during the summer. I love working part time and having no homework once I'm done for the day. :catgirl:

I'm finding more and more that the main reason I should've secured a Summer job earlier is that since I still don't have one, my sleep schedule has gotten weirder and weirder. By today, it's become completely inverted--I went to bed at 12:30 PM and got up at 9:30 PM. I think I'm just gonna power through and fix it by staying up later instead of going to bed earlier.
You're not alone Ace, I prefer the standard as well. Indigo, though nice looking, is just a little too dark for my tastes. And the Geisha is too purple and the other too damn pink. So Standard it is.
See, that's exactly why I like the indigo. But my eyes don't like light much, so I always prefer slightly darker color schemes (not the red text on black kind of crap I've seen on some forums, but Indigo on here is nice). Less painful (literally) to look at = very good thing.
I'm partial to Geisha cause I rather like the color purple, and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that ever uses that.

I used Caramelldansen for awhile before the pink started to incinerate my eyes.

And I love pink.
Wait... Am I going color blind? Purple where? Oh, [strike]sh...[/strike] the other girlie girl is wearing purple... (You would think after using this skin for a year I'd have saw that by now.) Time to change skins. And here I was using Geisha because of the royal blue.

Curiousity.... Switches to the Caramell thingy.

I'm kind of dissapointed by the prospect of having the Magic versus the Lakers in the NBA finals. I like Lebron James and I would rather not see the technical foul prone Dwight Howard (who can't keep his mouth shut) versus Kobe Bryant, who I've hated since day 1. When you can get a shooting foul off of a drive to the basket and get hacked on the floor, I give up on NBA officiating.

Kobe fouls really suck. Puts LA back in the game.

Bah, Humbug.

I haven't been keeping up with the playoffs as of late since all 4 teams were playing like idiots. I hate it when teams take unnecessary 3 pointers. But I agree with you, Korey. I also like Lebron and would've like to see the Cavs in the finals. But truth be told, they have bad matchups against the Magics, as well as the Lakers.

It still pisses me off till this day. Joe Dumars trading Billups for Iverson.. ARGH!! (IDIOT!) We had great matchups against all those teams. (Not to mention a consistent bench) Getting rid of Billups, I would've went after Darren Williams. Relying on Stuckey was a no-no. Firing Flip and settling for Mike Curry was a double no-no. Joe D messed up big this season. It'll be a long time before we make it back to the eastern conference finals. (I have no faith in Detroit teams lol)

Des you're evil for that skin.

He didn't rule it out you say. (Are you talking about when him and Kobe won MVP at the Allstar game? Last I heard, Kobe shut that down fairly quickly.) But at the same time I highly doubt Kobe wants to go through that drama again. And besides, Phoenix would be idiots to trade Shaq off to a rival team. (And who would they get in return? LA would probably have to give up either Bynum and Odom or Gasol and Odom.) I don't see that happening.

Kobe Bryant can't handle having another superstar interrupting his lineup. Also, with Pao Gasol as the starting big man, why would you ever need Shaq anyways? His production is down and he's not the same Shaq who has 3 rings.
81 with 7 assists, 3 rings, soon to be 4. Kobe is a monster and he's going to have Shack on his team next year, so suck it, huge nose Lebron.
LeBron is averaging at least 35 points, 7 assists and 8 rebounds a game in the playoffs. Even Kobe hasn't done that .He is single handedly carrying the Cavs on his shoulders and has big games night after night, just the team falls short. If the bench picks up points, they win. It's just that the Magic stack up well against the Cavs as a team. Lebron is gonna get his points no matter what. The Cavs don't have a reliable low post presence and Mo Williams is on and off in the playoffs, which isn't what the Cavs need.

As for Kobe, the Lakers have a better chance of winning the Finals because of the people they have. With the Magic or the Cavs as their opponent, the Lakers match up better on paper. However, the Lakers have shown that they have two sides to themselves in the playoffs. If Kobe can't get going, then the whole lineup struggles. If Gasol struggles, then the Lakers are non-existant in the post. Bynum is still young and lacks the playoff experience to carry the team on his shoulders, and Trevor Ariza is a role player at best. So, the key to stopping the Lakers is holding Kobe and Gasol and limiting their offense to only shot a possession.

Easier said than done, as it would appear.

Now, as for the idea of Shaq,Kobe and Phil Jackson re-aligning, it's not really a sure-fire ticket to winning. Case in point, this year's Celtics. Despite the loss of Kevin Garnett, the Celts didn't finish on top of the Eastern Conference and went 7 games with teams they should have beat easily (the bulls? please). You have Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Jerry Stackhouse on the SAME TEAM! Doc Rivers won the coach of the year last year. How can that possibly be a formula for defeat?

(wow, this doesn't seem like a typical post for this thread...heh)

When did that happen? Stackhouse on the Celtics? O_O. Oh my. But I do agree with those points.
I sure do, and it looks like a 7ft, 400 pound backboard breaking monster/ video game character/ moviestar/ basketball all star.
You know nothing about good trades do you? As Korey mentioned, Shaq ain't what he used to be. Sure he still got the body to back folks down easily, but how many years can he keep running up and down the court? LA is one of those up and down the court teams. (So is Phoenix, but they don't believe in defense...)

Are you calling Shaq rubish? I don't care who you trade to what **** team, if you have Shaq plus another great 4 or 5 team members already on the team, its automatically a good trade, atleast for one team. Anyways, Shaq would be going to a better team.

Oh, and Korey, You're Avi and sig rule.

Oop, not Stackhouse, it's Stephon Marbury. I knew it was someone who was playing for a no name team *cough* The Knicks *cough*. Still, having another really good player like Marbury was no excuse for losing to the Magic.Celts choked. Big time. I think if KG was healthy, the Celtics would be playing the Cavs instead of the Magic.

EDIT: Shaq really doesn't NEED to be traded to the Lakers. Pao Gasol has had a tremendous tenure with the Lakers and adding Shaq to the Lineup is only going to hurt the Lakers, not help. Think about it. Shaq has won 4 rings (3 with the Lakers, one with the Heat). What kind of contract do you think he would want if he went back to LA? A pretty big one. Granted, Shaq probably isn't worth the money he says he is worth, but it's still a financial strain on the Laker's budget.

And I'll be the first to say this:

Shaq has lost his footing and isn't a dominant force in Today's NBA. He is older, more injury prone and can't make the plays he's made before. Shaq is something akin to Ben Wallace now. Dwight Howard can outscore, outrebound and generally outplay Shaq. So can Pao Gasol, Kevin Garnett (although KG is pretty old too) and several other players who's name escapes me now. I think the Suns kind of fudged it a bit when they traded for Shaq. One season they were real dominant until the Western Conference finals, then this year they dropped to last in the West due to Injuries and the like. Shaq wants to play on winning teams, but the thing is....the winning teams don't want or need Shaq. Just because Shaq WAS a dominant force in the league when he played for the Lakers and that SINGLE year he played on the Heat (which is BS, Dwayne Wade won that title) doesn't make him a good fit in the Lakers's system. You have to look beyond the glisten of the championship rings and look at basketball for what it is.

Matchups.

Heh, way to throw words in my mouth. I'm not saying he's crap. (Whether he's crap or not, I really don't care.) What I'm saying is that LA would be stupid to trade for him. They'd have to get rid of some of they're top players to acquire him. And notice what you just said. Shaq plus 4 or 5 great players? If I were Phoenix, I'd ask for Odom, Bynum and Gasol. And then that leaves Lakers with Kobe, Shaq and Fisher. Shaq's not worth all 3 of those players.

Then you tell me a 1 for 1 trade that's good for both teams. (You're only looking at this from one perspective) Shaq for Kobe would be the only 1 for 1 trade you'll see out of that. And I wouldn't mind seeing Kobe and Nash teamup in Phoenix. (If I had the money I'd buy the Suns and, I'd try to do that trade :))

And let me tell you. Saying Gasol (Same for Odom and Bynum) for Shaq would be like saying Chauncey Billups for Allen Iverson. (ARGH!!! Pisses me off) Phoenix would be getting screwed over. Bad judgment.

Anyway, the April Fools day prank is what inspired it. The skin was added shortly after that prank. Within a week or two if I remember correctly.

Ah ok, I do remember, or rather, I remember there being talk about it. That's what I get for never keeping up with events.

Edit: Oh, in other news, my GPA is a 3.0. (YES!!!) Kind of shocking because I got 5 B's (2 of those are B+) and a C. Break it up into a quarter system, for this quarter I got 2 B's and a C and still managed to get a 3.0. I don't know how this works anymore. 1st quarter I had 3 B's (2 B+ and a reg B) and that came out to a 3.4. Well, whatever. I'm happy. I'm not gonna dispute it.
