"psst Cop" Jamel's unmisakeable voice was the first one Lance had actually heard in awhile. They'd stopped for a second to catch wind and everybody was dead silent.

"Hey man, my boy Jarod's house is nearby. If we can get to his car he's got all kinda shit stashed. AK's, M16's, M14's, and all kinda crazy shit that explodes. We oughta get ourselves there. His apartment isn't too far from here, it's near the shopping distric." The thought of having some real kickassery sat pretty well with Lance.

"Hey Kris, where's your apartment at? I'm going to take a couple people and go grab this car, if its still there. It'll give the rest of us a little better chance of knocking whatever the hell that was in their out for good."

Lance stood up, motioned for Jamel to join him. "Anybody else who's interested is free to come with us."

He silently stood there, waiting on an answer.

"Yeah, i'm in." said Jamel as he fist bumped the cop. "Lets go, hopefuly my boy's still alive." Jamel walked ahead, the group following close behind.
"So Lance, do you still want that toaster?"
"No man, are we almost there?"
"Yeah bro, just 2 blocks and take a right and were there."
As the group arived at there destination, it dawned on them that this was going to be a bit of a challange. The whole appartment complex was filled with the zombies. All of them mindlessly wandering the buildings, looking for ther next victim.
"Man, this looks like this is going to be some crazy ass shit." said Jamel with utter disgust.
"Jamel, what is the building number?" asked Lance.
"It's 204 B. It's acctualy right over there"
"Hmm, this might be alot quicker than I thought. Jamel, will you be a distraction?"
"Why does it always have to be the black guy? Oh well."
At this point, Jamel looked down for a second, then looked to the left, then to his right, then he yelled at the top of his lungs, "I WANT YOU'RE BODY, I NEED YOU'RE BODY, I CAN GET YOU ANYTHING THAT YOU LIKE."
Then, all the zombies stoped what they were doing and started to shuffle over to Jamel.
"Were are the guns?"
"There in the basment, hurry up bro, get me out of here alive."

Kristopher moved cautiously, not wanting to alert anything to their presence. The apartment complex was rather large, thankfully pets weren't allowed. Tahia followed close behind, and behind her, was Payton and Draco. They aimed their guns, shooting into the zombies moving to eat Jamel. Lance had rushed down into one of the buildings, And within a moments came back up with several large caliper guns. He threw them down, blazing bullets whizzing into the crowd.

"DAMN FUCKER! WATCH IT!" Jamel said, hitting the ground. Zombie heads exploded, and then all of them came racing over to Kristopher's little group. They ran across the parking lot, Kristopher cursing under his breath. Thankfully, Jamel's dude lived in the same building complex.

Kristopher hadn't though about what to do after they got to his building, but he opened the massive metal door and cocked his gun inside. Nothing.

Blood was smeared on the wall ahead of them, and there were several thumping noises coming from the other side of the doors. The thin walls were all that was protecting from what was on the other side of them.

Kristopher ran up the stairs, coming face to face with a zombie eating something. On closer inspection, Kristopher realized it was the complex owner. He raised his gun, but Payton let out a round, beating him to it. The zombie fell foreward when the bullet blasted into it's skull, plastering brains all over. Up another flight of stairs they went, until they came to Kristopher's apartment. Kristopher removed his wallet from his apron, and pulled out a key from it. He put it in the door, and turned the key. He smiled, and walked inside.

Kristopher's apartment was just as he had left it, welcoming him. I was nice, with plenty of mismatched furniture. Yet, it bore the image of home and comfort. Kristopher walked over to the refridgerator, hearing it hum. He opened it, and pulled out a plastic container of orange juice. Opening it, he started drinking heavily.

Kristopher watched as everyone took a seat, the lights illuminating the dim apartment in the remainder of the fading light. Kristopher didn't turn on a light, for fear of attracting something that Kristopher didn't want in his apartment. Kristopher ignored the sounds coming from the other side of the walls, more innocent victims of the virus. Groans and moans abound, Kristopher put on a faltering smile, a habit from when he had worked for Umbrella.

"Anyone want something to drink? I have booze, juice, water, and milk."

His company looked around, and mumbled their replies. Kris responded, pulling various glasses down and filling them. He put them on an old silver tray, and brought it out to his living room table. Draco had taken a position at the window. He was watching for anything that might prove fatal to them all.

"My suggestion is we stay here for tonight..." Draco said, after receiving his beer.

"I agree." Tahlia responded. "We'll be a lot safer during the day."

Payton snorted. "Not really, Tahlia. God only knows what's waiting in the Zoo for us." Payton shuddered, as did all of them. The thought of all the animals being undead monsters...

Kristopher couldn't have been more in agreement...

?I?m only hoping zombie cheetahs are slow? Said Tahlia after sipping her drink.

?Undead? lions and tigers and bears?? Payton started..

?Oh my? rang Tahlia and Kristopher. Everyone burst into laughter.

?But seriously? Jamel said afther a while, ?how the fuck are we s?posed to outrun undead cheetahs??

?Just think about it, Why would there be undead animals running about? No one was there to let them loose so what are you people freaking out for??? Said Lance

?You?re half right Lance, but sometimes the virus has a chance of greatly mutating it?s host making it stronger, faster and smarter. These are the animals that would have broken free from cages.? Said Draco

?I so did not want to hear that? Payton put his head down rubbing his temples and groaning.

?Well suck it up Goldilocks. We must be prepared for the worst and that means taking everything into consideration even the possibilities we don?t want to face.? Draco picked up his beer and gulped. ?Knowledge of possible danger should not cause you fear, it should empower you to knowing that you are prepared for the worst? Draco said

?Amen to that? Kristopher said and other nodded in agreement

?Well Toto, it seems we?ll have to put on those red heels and stride onto that yellow brick road fearlessly? Payton joked playing with Foxxy. ?You ready girl??

"But before we head out, bustin some dead ass animals, shouldn't we be more prepaired than this?" Jamel said wile pulling out the shotgun from the appartments and the toaster from the school.
"Give me that damn toaster Jamel!" said Lance
"No! You crazzy nigga!? This could come in handy, you know, to hit shit, and to...... yeah."
Everyone then busted out laughing, taking the whole situation half heartedly.
"So how do you suppose we prepare?" said Kris.
"You know, get a first-aid kit going, get some backpacks or bags to hold stuff in, food, water, just some basic shit we might need, we already have the guns 'n shit, all we need now is the real important stuff."
"I'll get started on that." said Kris.
"Lets get this done with, then we can head out." Said Lance wile standig up, preparing to do the hardest thing in his life; to save an entire city, Joined only with a group of people he had met just hours ago.

Kristopher sighed. The city was doomed, had been since Umbrella had moved into town. Kristopher had known that, they all did, now.

Kristopher walked into his bedroom, payton following closely behind.

"Can I get some privacy?" Kristopher asked. Payton shook his head. "Nope. You aren't being given the chance to do something stupid again."

"Fine fine. Come in then...." Kristopher leaving his bedroom door wide open. Kristopher looked around, his bedroom was immaculate,Kristopher sighed, sitting on the bed. Payton followed his example. "So we're staying here for the night?" Payton asked.

"Yeah, we'll head out at dawn. It's going to be easier to sleep, when we know we're almost safe. I'm sure everyone is exhausted."

Payton nodded, looking around Kristopher's room. There were picture's taken, and tapped to the wall above Kristopher's bed."Who are they?" Payton asked. Kristopher got up and opened his dresser, ruffling around inside. Kristopher glanced at the wall. "Friends I've made. They're probably all dead now..." Kristopher turned away from the collection of smiles and goofy poses. He couldn't face them. Dunan Took out a pair of jeans, and a t-shirt. He removed his apron, and tossed it in a dirty clothes hamper after removing various objects from it. He lit up a cigarette, smoking it as he unbuttoned his pants. He looked down at them, they were covered in filth now. He dropped them, and kicked them too into the dirty clothes hamper. Kristopher didn't stop there, he unbottoned his work shirt, it too was now filthy.

Sliding his undershirt off, he turned, now only in a pair of boxers. He slid them down, revealing a rather bubbly butt. Kristopher's skin was scarred, long jagged lines etched across his white skin.

Payton stared at him, before asking quietly,"How did you get those scars?"

"Umbrella." Kristopher answered simply, his tone causing Payton to drop the subject. Kristopher dressed in silence, and soon enough he was popping out his contacts, and putting on a pair of glasses. All in all, he looked very much the part of a typical school boy now.

"Now I've joined the fantasy fetish group...." Kristopher remarked, putting on a white dress shirt. He didn't button it, ans he walked back over to the hallway door. "If anyone wants to curl up and sleep, now is the chance. I'll stay awake to keep watch." Kristopher grabbed a bunch of spare blankets, and gave everyone something to sleep on. People assumed various spots, and restless, they all had a troubled sleep. They all woke up to cover watches, each of them getting a little sleep. Dawn was still several hours away.....

Payton walked into Kristopher?s room after taking his turn on the watch. Kristopher rose up instantly. ?Are you done with your shift?? He asked rubbing his eyes Foxxy rose from her sleep and walked to Payton apparently she had been watching Kristopher.

?Yup? Payton smile leaning on the frame of the door, he stretched and yawned. ?What are you doing?? Payton asked as Kristopher began to get up.

?Going to keep watch, that is what you were going to tell me right?? Kristopher said about to put on his pants.

?No, Draco is doing the last watch? Payton said walking towards the bed.

?Then?why did you come in here?

?I wanted to sleep with you,? Payton said rubbing his eyes

?W-what!?? Kristopher almost fell over.

?I gave Jamel my cover, he was shivering in his sleep? I could not help it. I didn?t think this would be a problem..? Payton keep eye contact with Kristopher awaiting his answer.

?Uh..sure why not? Kristopher threw a white beater and pink pj bottoms with teddy bears all over them to Payton. Payton raised his eyebrow. ?These are quite sexy? he laughed.

?Just thought you?d like to get comfortable and out of those dirty clothes, the bathroom?s just across from my room.

?Much obliged? Payton said and went to the bathroom he called for foxy. ?Might as well clean you up too girl.? She barked and wagged her tail excitedly. After a half hour Payton was clean and Foxxy was dried after he managed to catch her. Payton braided his long hair into a single braid he looked in the mirror cabinet and found a simple red ribbon which he used to tie the end of his hair. Foxxy barked her approval as Payton looked in the mirror, all the dirt and blood gone from his body and hair he looked a new person.
They walked back to Kristopher?s room who had fallen asleep, Foxxy curled up in a corner while Payton got in the bed and snuggled up against Kristopher seconds barely pasted until he was asleep.

Kristopher woke with the coming of dawn, the sun just barely peaking up over the horizon, illuminating the sky. He looked down at Payton after sitting up, and blinked rapidly. Payton was drooling all over his pillow.

Soon enough, everyone began to wake, dreading leaving the sanctity of the apartment, but each of them knew it was only a matter of time before something came after them. And, cornered on the third floor, there wasn't anywhere to run. Kristopher rubbed his eyes, wishing the whole situation was just a dream.

But it wasn't. Everyone outside the walls of the apartment was either dead or undead. Kristopher got up, dressing. He got out his school uniform, and pulled on his pants, taking his shirts and jacket out with him into the kitchen, throwing them on the counter. He pulled a loaf of bread down from the refridgerator, and loaded up the four slotted toaster. He opened the fridge, pulling out some eggs, sausage, pancake mix, and bacon. He started cooking, ignoring the thuds coming from the other side of the wall, in the next apartment. He heard a low, gutteral moan, sending chills up his spine.

Kristopher started cooking, and he pulled a jug of orange juice from the fridge. He flicked the lid off, and started chugging it it down. Payton came up behind him, having dressed himself. He had pulled on a pair of Kristopher's pants, and an undershirt, his own having the filth and blood caked on them. "Now that's attractive..." Payton commented, seeing Kristopher's naked torso, juice dripping onto it.

Kristopher shrugged indifferently. He pulled on another shirt, and then he continued cooking, and soon enough he had quite the spread of toast, eggs, sausage, and pancakes on the table. "Come and get it while it's hot, people." Kris called. He looked at his kitchen clock, furrowing his brow. Normally, he'd be getting into his car to head off to school by now, after hurriedly finishing homework from the night before. "Plates are in the cabinet, help yourselves. God only knows when we might eat next."

Talkia nodded her agreement, and got up from her spot on the couch. She straightened out her clothing, and got a plate. Everyone followed her, picking up a plate and a glass and silverware before diving into the food. Soon enough, everyone was sitting around the living room, eating as much as they could. Kristopher broke the silence. "So... What do you guys think? Is it good?"

Tahlia mumbled, nodding her head rapidlly, her mouth full. Draco snorted into his plate, giving a hesitant 'yes'. Payton exclaimed, "It's the best meal I've ever had!" Jamel and Lance nodded as well, and there was everyone's approval. Kristopher looked at Tahlia, noticing her dirty clothes.

"Tahlia, I have something in my closet you can wear." Tahlia looked up from taking a bite from her sausage patty, surprised Kris would have something she could wear.

After swallowing, she asked, "What is it? I don't trust anything coming from your closet..." Everyone tittered, smiles abound now.

"Oh, it's nothing... Just a playboy bunny outfit..."

Tahlia threw a pillow from the couch at him, and Kristopher dodged it, not spilling anything from his plate.

"I'll pass." Tahlia responded, and she went back to eating. Soon enough, the dishes were dirty, and there was no food left. Everyone was feeling full, and got ready to leave. The streets were still dark, but Dawn was fast approaching. Kristopher pulled on his school uniform jacket, and picked up his backpack. He pulled it over his shoulders, and went for the door. Everyone was now ready to go back into the nightmare. Kristopher cocked his fully loaded gun, and unlocked the door. He tuned the knob, and jetted out into the hall. Motioning that it was clear, he started off down the hall, the others following him closely.

Reaching the stairwell, Kristopher heard something slamming against a door just behind them. The door began to splinter, bulging at the center. They started moving quickly, out of the building. The zombies within the various apartments were getting wise to the fact there was something moving in the halls. The door behind them splintered into peices, and a man came staggering out, half of his face just gone, being bare bloody bone. Kristopher knew who he was, and his wife came staggering out after him. They came at them, and all of The humans turned and ran down the flights of stairs. They came to the massive front door, and started off outside, moving quickly around the zombies randomly about the parking lot.

Kristopher and company started back into the shopping district, hoping to not run into anything they couldn't handle......

OOC: Alright, let's take out time in the shopping district, alright?

(OoC: Flash back for my character at age 13! Whoot!)

"Hello, 911? My parents haven't returned from their hike in the mountais north of of the city." I said with tears in my eyes.

"Ok, how long do they usually take to go on their hiking trip?" The operator asked.

"Um usually 2 days but its been a week. Please, they promised me they be back to take me out for my birthday." I started to cry.

"Calm down, now where do you live and whats your name?" The operator asked.

"I lived at 251 East Main and my name is Draco Tarik." I said sniffling.

"We'll have a police officer their right away. Get any recent photo of your parents and a description of what they where wearing the last time you saw them." The operator said.

"Yes sir." I said hanging up the phone.

I gathered a photo taken the morning they left. I printed it from the computer in dad's work room. About 5 minutes later an officer showed up.

"How long was this picture taken?" He said.

"Um about 7 days ago. Its when they left for their hiking trip so thats what they would be wearing." I said handing him the photo.

"Ok, good. Who watches you while their gone?" He asked kindly.

"I watch my self." I said.

"Well we will probally put you in a foster home till we find your parents." He said kneeling infront of me.

"Ok officer." I said with a slight glimer in my eyes.

[Fast forward 2 months]

I sat in the foster home they put me in. It was hell. They beated on me, put me in a basement with trash thrown everywhere. I was still wearing the cloths I had on 2 months ago. They barely feed me but I couldnt tell the police about this. The would just dismiss it and keep me in this hell.

"Im sorry Draco but your parents havnt been found so their being pronounced dead. You'll have to live with these foster parents." He said with a sad tone.

"No, you have to keep searching. I know their alive! They promised me they would be home on my birthday...." I started to cry while falling on the officers leg.

"I'm sorry but I cant do anything. I would but I can't. Please, just remember the times you had with them and that their in a better place." He said taking me off his leg and holding me up.

I just hanged their crying. He left shortly after telling the foster parents that they werent getting any money for me. After the door shut they started to hit me again and again.

That night I espaced that place and stealing about $5,000 from their room. Their was one person who might take me in. A friend of my mother who owns a car dealership in the lower part of the city.

I called a taxi and told him where I wanted to go.

"Hey kid wheres your parents? Its dangerous out here at night." He asked.

"Their where pronounced dead today. No bodies found. Just take me to where I want to go please." I said with a tone that meant drop it.

"All right kid." He said while starting to drive.

10 minutes later I arrived at the dealership. It was still opened and the person I was looking for was still their.

"Thata be $21.75." He said.

I gave him a $50 and left the cab.

"Hey kid, you forgot your change!" He yelled out of his window.

"Keep it. Thanks for driving me here." I waved at him as he drove off.

The lady closed the doors to the offices and turns arounf to see me.

"Draco? Is that you?" She said in a confused voice.

"Yes, please take me with you. Dont send me back to those evil foster parents!" I said crying.

She was a good lady in her mind 30's. She new about my parents dissapearing. She was also my godmother. She came over to me and wrapped her arms around me.

"Of course I will. For your mothers memory I will." She said in a soothing voice.

I fell asleep in her arms. She took me back to her appartment and put me on the couch.

"Dont worry. I will take good care of you. Sleep well Draco." She said as I fell into a deep sleep.

Kristopher snapped his fingers in Draco's face. "Hey, Umbrella boy. Snap out of it."

Draco looked up, and looked away. "Sorry."

Kristopher looked around the desolate street. The wind was picking up, and with it came the smell of decaying flesh. Kristopher led the way down the street, seeing nothing moving. An empty store front glittered near them, the mannequins in the window staring at them with vacant eyes. Kristopher walked over to the window, and peered inside.

No one was moving inside, dead or alive. He started moving back down the street, Tahlia coming up beside him.

"Kris? Do you know what we're going to face in the Zoo?"

"Hell if I know. I'm praying most of the animals are dead or in their cages. Preferably both."

Tahlia shrugged, holding up her gun. "I suppose so.... but like we'd have that kind of luck." Kristopher kept quiet, knowing she spoke the awful truth. Kristopher stepped over a dead body, and stopped. He heard it, and so did everyone else.

The thing that had chased them in the restaurant was back.

Lance was the first to react. "MOVE IT!"

They started running down the street, when a a sound like a whistle came to their ears, and a car to their left exploded. They all ducked down, pieces if the car coming down around them. The monster stepped into sight, and they all saw the rocket launcher it was holding.

"JESUS CHRIST!" Jamel stated, and then they all took off down the street and down an alley. They ducked into a store, the back loading dock having been open. Shooting the zombie inside, they moved back to the front of the store, ducking down. The monster moved, the steps heavy, and it aimed again. The rocket came blasting in, exploding against the far wall. Ceiling tiles and other debris came raining down, Tahlia, Kris, and Payton screaming all the while.

"S.T.A.R.S." it rasped.

They all got up, and started firing into the monstrousity. It leveled another blast, but someone clipped it with a shot gun, causing the launcher to misfire, exploding.

The thing hit the ground, falling through the old brick road into the sewer pipe below. There was no more sounds coming from below, but they all knew something that big wasn't going down that easily.

Draco made the motion to get moving. "Let's roll out!"

"Shit, how did they find out all ready?" I said.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Krist said.

"When I said I left Umbrella, I did and took alot of files detailing alot of top secret info and stored it somewhere safe. Also, the fact that I am Spec Ops for Umbrella also means Im a S.T.A.R.S. I didnt think that they would send Tyrants into the city." I said digging threw the duffle bags.

"A Tyrant?" What the hell is that Cheif?" Payton said.

"Its the Nemises project. They use soilders who are willing to be turned into one of those. They have enough brain in them to know who is who and what to do. They are really hard to kill and it will take a well placed round from a high powered sniper riffle to take it out. The fact that it is following us means its either after me or Lance." I said pointing at Lance.

"Im no STARS memeber." Lance said.

"Then tell me then. Why are you the only cop in Raccoon City that wasnt either infected or killed? Why you have such a talent to adapt to any situation? STARS arent picked from well trained people. They are picked from people who shown that they can survive anything by them selves. That is STARS." I said getting back up with a grenade launcher in my hand.

"Yo dude whats that for?" Jamel said.

"I cant kill it with this but it'll slow him down alot. Krist come with me. The rest of you, get to the mall and wait in the Radio Shack." I said grabbing Kris by the arm.

"Ow, let me go umbrella boy!" He said strugling.

"First of all. Im older than you and the fact that you worked for Umbrella too makes you an Umbrella boy. Second of all. Dont act like a hero and get all romantic with Payton. This isnt a love cruise nor is it a wonderfull vacation. Dont take any chances out here. Me and Lance are the ones who can handle ourselves alone. Stick with the group and whatever you do. DONT GET SEPREATED! Now go join the rest. I'll be their shortly." I said letting go of Krist.

I could here the Tyrant say STARS and rumbling around the back alley. I turn and he was looking at a dead body of a police officer. By the looks of it. he has been dead for at leats a week.

"Hey budy, looking for me?" I said mockingly.

"STARS" thats all he says.

He started moving towards me. I let loose 3 rounds of the launcher. The smoke cleared reveling the Tryant undamaged. I was expeting that. So I let the remanding 9 at his head torso and legs. He fell down back wards. Exactly like I wanted it to. That should buy us alot of time.

The sound of the the grenades exploding attracted zombies. That should keep it busy. I make my way back to the mall and into the Radio Shack.

Kris snorted his contempts as he went with the others. They made their way to the mall, seeing the tall structure in the distance. Kristopher looked up at a small parlor cafe, the second floor window had something moving behind it. Looking closely, he saw it was another zombie, trying to claw out. Passing by, the window shattered, glass raining onto the little group. The zombie fell, hitting the ground head first. There was a splattering sound, and the zombie didn't move.

Kristopher sighed. He moved down the street, but he turned a corner, and saw the way to the mall was blocked. There had been an accident, several cars burned away. A city bus had crashed into the burning wreckage, but it wasn't burning. Scorch marks littered the side. Kristopher sighed. He wasn't about to head through the fire.

"Come on, there's a set of doors on the rear of the bus. We can get through this by just using the bus as a passage."

Tahlia nodded. She turned behind her, sighing. several zombies were approaching. One of them vomited, the acid audibly eating away at the pavement.

"Lance, you're stronger than all of us. Can you pry that door open?" Tahlia asked.

Lance nodded, and swung his fist through a window on the double doors of the bus. After prying it open, he stepped on first. He cocked his gun, and shot down the length of the bus, killing something that had been crawling after him. Stepping onto the bus, Kristopher nearly fainted. The stench of rotting bodies was strong in the confined space. Looking around, he saw several people, all of them dead. The buss crash having apparently killed them. The woman must had been the only one of them infected, and so had come back to life...

They all trooped through the bus, shooting out the front window of the bus and climbing down. Kristopher held his hand to help Tahlia down, after he himself had jumped out. They trooped down the street, conserving ammo when they could. Soon enough, they had come to the edge of the mall parking lot. Looking across the lot, they saw that there were a lot of cars. Granted, it may have only been thirty or so, but they had no idea how many cars were parked on the sides of the mall they couldn't see. They cautiously moved to the mall entrance closest to them. It happened to be the food court, and Kristopher cocked his gun. He glanced around. There was another city bus in the lot, apparently the driver had been attacked, and the bus sat parked at the food court entrance. A woman staggered around, in a nice suit. She turned around, revealing she was just another zombie. Kristopher shot her, clipping her head. She fell against the wall, blood smearing down it as she went.

Kristopher sighed. He jumped onto the bus, and saw only a blood stained driver's seat. The bus had been running when it was attacked, the gas gauge read the tank was on empty. Kristopher snorted.

"Figures, the tank's bone dry. We might have been able to use this baby to get to the Zoo."

Payton shrugged. "Not surprising. That would have been too easy."

Jamel was rubbing his chin. "I could steal some serious shit, man..."

Kristopher stepped down off the bus. "Like we need to be hauling any thing more than we already are, dipshit."

"Fuckin' punk kid!" Jamel started, going off on a tirade. "Racist peice of shit! You just pissy cuz you racist."

Kristopher leveled his gun, aiming it directly at Jamel's head. "You say I'm racist, just once more, and I'll pull this trigger. For your information, I can give a shit less if you're black, white, blue or green. Of course, in this situation the latter two are probably trying to kill us. I don't like you right now simply because you're being an ass. Up until right now, I haven't had a problem with you. But you pull this shit, I do. Understand me?"

Jamel held up his hands, backing off. "Yeah man... chill..."

"I'll chill when we're all done with this bullshit."

Kristopher turned away, heading to the doors. He was obviously pissed. Tahlia let out a sigh of relief.

"Way to go Jamel. You pissed him off. You're lucky he kept his cool."

"He pointed a gun at me!"

Payton shook his head. "You shouldn't have done that racism stuff. I mean come on, if we were racist, we would have fed you to the zombies by now, don't you think?"

They all walked back to the mall entrance, And on entering, they weren't surprised to hear the tell tale mall music playing in the back ground.

Kristopher had hopped a counter, and was filling up soda cups. He brought a tray over, and sat it on a table. They looked around, wrinkling their faces. The food in the trays had all dried up or gone bad. Thankfully, the smell had already dissipated. Kristopher sighed. "Well, we got soda at least. I'm sure there's junk food all over here, and we can make some food with what's in the fridges. Well, lets get down to that Radio Shack." They made their way over to the end of the food court, looking around the mall. There were zombies stumbling around, but not too many that they could see.

"Oh god damn it..." Kristopher said, holding up his gun. "Not this again...."

"Let's do this." Tahlia responded.

Tahlia shot her gun, aiming for the heads of the undead. All of them shot their guns when they had to, clearing out the mall of the infected. There hadn't been that many in the mall, only about twenty people wandered the stores.

Tahlia spotted the radio shack, and called everyone over. Jamel was eyeballing the merchandise, wanting to steal it. Tahlia called over to him.

"You know, you might piss Kristopher off if you take anything..."

Jamel muttered something under his breath, Tahlia couldn't make out anything he said. Tahlia looked around the mall, she had been here often with her friends. She sighed, staying put. The others all miandered over to her, guns ready. The radio shack was in shambles, blood stained everything, as it did everything. Just to their left, a jewelery pagoda was in disarray, the glass counters shattered, blood on the glass shards. the jewelery lied scattered around, whatever had wrecked it hadn't been interested in the jewelery.

Kristopher had been keeping all of them together, and they waited for Draco to show up. Minutes ticked by, giving way to an hour. They all heard the doors to the outside open, and they looked above them, aiming their guns at the second floor. Draco jumped over the railing, landing on his feet. He tood, his muscular profile a sight for sore eyes. He looked a business-like as ever, and Tahlia sighed in relief.

"About time you showed up. We've already cleared the majority of the mall. There's still things lurking around, that's common sense. But, they aren't attacking, so I guess that's a good sign."

Draco nodded, looking over at Kristopher. Kristopher snorted in contempt, and stomped off into a Reebok store.

Draco watched him before shrugging and sitting down in a chair. Kristopher came back, arms crossed.

"What now?" He asked. Lance shrugged, having no idea. Payton did the same, watching Kristopher. Kristopher stalked off, heading into a Hot Topic store.

"We can stay here for a few hours until the sun rises higher. Then we head out."

As he spoke, the sunlights above them grew dim. Looking up at the sky above, Tahlia saw it was cloudy, and looked like a storm was coming. Thankfully, they were all inside, but still. It had been sunny for awhile, none of them had noticed the clouds in the horizon apparently.

Tahlia stood up, her clothes wrinkled again. "I'm gonna find something to eat... anyone else hungry? I saw a cookie shoppe upstairs."

Kristopher and Payton nodded, heading off with her. The three climbed the stairs, and looked around the mall.

All around them was spattered blood and hand prints, various displays were smashed or tipped over. The Waldenbook store looked like a tornado had hit. Blood stained books and magazines littered the floor. A foot protruded from the wreckage, and Tahlia wasn't interested in seeing if it was attached to anything.

They made their way, passing various stores and little booths. They came to the cookie shoppe, and Payton jumped the counter. He pryed open a case, removing the cookies from within.

"Mmmm... chocolate chip macademia nut.. my favorite." He said happily. He started munching on them, and smiled. "A little crunchy, but they're alright."

Kristopher grabbed a chocolate chocolate chip cookie, and munched, equally happy. Tahlia herself looked at the monstrous cookie with frosting all over it.

"Payton, would you get me that one?" She pointed, and Payton was only too happy to oblige her. The three of them sat munching on slightly stale cookies, talking about where they would be right now had they not been in this nightmare.

Tahla snorted. "I'd probably be working a double shift right now...Man, those people in the hospital never wanted to work!"

Kristopher laughed. "And I'd be at school right now. Later on, I'd probably be working a seven hour shift at Chevy's."

Payton pointed at Kristopher. "I take it you put your school uniform on out of habit this morning?"

"Yeah, I just never think in the mornings." Kristopher looked down at his school jacket. "Well, Tahlia. You're a nurse, I'm a school boy. Payton here is a street punk. Looks like all three of us are fantasy fetishes..."

Tahlia laughed. "And we got mister macho downstairs and a police man...More fantasy fetishes!" The three of them laughed, and continued eating their cookies.

A shadow moved behind them, across one of the skylights. Tahlia looked over, and shuddered. "Guys..."

Kristopher and Payton has seen it too. The three of them rose, looking around the windows. Kristopher was shaking. "It's one of those things..." he whispered.

Tahlia nodded. They set off back to the others, when they heard a crash, and looked around behind them. One of the things that had attacked Kristopher slammed down behind them, onto a booth that had been selling vintage poster copies. Kristopher screamed, and hightailed it. Tahlia and Payton were close behind, randomly firing over their shoulders, praying it discouraged it from following. To their left, another one of those things crashed through another skylight. It grasped onto a railing, and Kristopher screamed, pointing his gun. It was mere inches from them. Kristopher blasted it, and it fell below, its head having been blown off. The thing behing them jumped from light fixture to fixture, coming for them. The three of them dodged into a Victoria's Secret outlet.

The thing came crashing after them. The store was large, thank god, so they managed to get behind a corner before it attacked again.

It came, slashing mannequins and store displays alike, bits of skimpy bras and panties flying everywhere. It came from behind the coener, covered in panties and bras. Tahlia would have laughed, had she not been terrified. The three of them shot, pelting the damn thing with bullets. It screeched, and jumped away, tearing into a display. They shot after it, but it got away.

Kristopher was breathing heavy, Tahlia knew his heart must have been racing. Hers was. Payton ran off after it, shooting. There was a crash, and Tahlia knew that the thing was attacking again.

Tahlia shook her head, not knowing if he was brave or just crazy. There was another loud crash, and Tahlia and Kristopher came around, seeing the thing lying on a shattered plastic mannequin, half of its head having been blasted off. Payton was smiling, and bleeding from his arm. Kristopher's eyes were wide, and he grasped Payton. "DID IT DO THAT!?"

Payton shook his head. "NO! It fell against a broken peice of wood..." He guestured over to a broken table. Kristopher exhaled in relief. "We have to get to my car just in case. I'm not taking the risk of you turning into one of those things."

Payton nodded. Tahlia led the way out of the store, the others were coming up the stairs, rushing to save them. Payton cocked his gun. "Too late, boys. We already handled both of them."

Draco came to a stop, looking in the store. The beast wasn't moving. "There were two of them?"

"Yeah." Kristopher said, looking back at it. A black bra had come to rest on it. "That bra sure don't make it any prettier..."

Tahlia smiled. "I'm wearing that same bra, you know."

Kristopher shook his head, trying to get the image of Tahlia's tits out of his head. "I'm not sure what's scarier... that thing or your tits...." He said, smiling.

"HEY!" Tahlia said, whacking him with the back of her hand playfully. Draco cleared his throat, speaking. "We need to get out of here."

Everyone nodded, and they set off for the mall entrance they had entered. Coming to it, they stopped in horror.

"S.T.A.R.S."

"SHIT!" Payton yelled. They all hightailed it around the corner as it broke through the doors. They ran around the mall, looking for another exit. They ran to the other end of the mall, Draco fishing around in his duffel bag. Out of it came a string of grenades, and he pulled the pin on one of them. The grenades flew everywhere as the Tyrant came at them. With a perseverance that just wasn't human, it came for them. they began to explode, setting off a chain reaction. They ran, barely ahead of the blast and out of the doors into the parking lot, where it was pouring down rain. Thankfully, it was still relatively warm outside. The building shook with the blasts as the grenades went off, windows shattering and cracks appearing in the walls. Smoke billowed from the broken skylights. The little rag tag group watched in horror as the building smoked and shook. Kristopher spoke. "Just how many of those things did you let go???"

Draco pondered this. "I think.... About ten."

"JESUS!" Payton remarked. "OVERKILL MUCH?"

"That thing isn't dead, but this will hold it off for awhile longer."

With that said, the little ragtag group set off once more, back into the shoping district to get to the Zoo.

OOC: We're still taking out time, right Inu?
