Akieen Cloud
Tila sighed as the subway train came to a stop out side of a dark station known only as the underground. No one came here except homeless people, that's all there were now, people living in boxes or just on the ground where they could find space. Old barrels full of burning papers and cardboard to keep them warm. No sun ever came down here so they were white, almost transparently so, it sent a shiver up her spine as a few of them looked her way as she stepped out followed by the few that were sent with her. She took a deep breath through her mouth so she wouldn't have to smell their rotting blood. She straightened her back and walked down the darkest hall of the station and saw that some of the people watching shrank back as she did so, it was evil looking and for good reason. The vampires who lived here did not like to kill if they could help it, they would rather go to the blood banks on the edge of the city but sometimes things got bad and a few of the homeless community that had gathered in this decaying place would go missing and would never be found. Continuing through the dark she looked back seeing her brothers and sisters as easily as if it were day, she nodded and stretched her back and legs, out of the sight of the humans they were safe to rush, safe to run. They all began to strip out of their clothes til they all stood naked and just as quickly they were gone replaced with wolves of various sizes, she was the biggest, being an alpha. She shook out her fur with a snort and looked back at the others blinking at her, their eyes shining in the dim light that they did have. She have a curt nod and pinned her ears to her head. Clamping her bundled clothes in her teeth she broke out into a run, looking like a ghost running through the dark as her pure white fur stood out among the others like a sore thumb. She was the only one in her clan to have white fur. The others followed her example gathering their clothes as well and bounded after her. It seemed like only a few minutes til she could smell the sickly sweet scent of the vampires she stopped and phased back into her human form and dressed again quickly. Stepping into the light that filtered down through the top streets she was greeted by the largest person, vampire or otherwise, she had ever seen. "Welcome, I'll take you to meet Auron and the others before I take you to training." "Training?" "You have to leard how to take these things down. I'll teach you, don't worry." She heard a few complaints from behind her. "We're not worried. We fought your kind long enough." "These aren't like us, they aren't even like our newborns...they've hunted and eaten us. They have no preference. They eat anything that has a scent..." Tila shivered and followed him up a large flight of stairs and into the back of the station where a room waited for them to sit and wait for the other half of their group, the vampires. Alright, werewolfs, take a seat and wait, we are not phaseing at all at this moment, no fights with vampires or anything like that, we're here on a peace treaty so stay in human form. Vampires, your following Auron to the room we are in for the training brief.
Drizzt Do'urden
"Can we go back yet?" Alucard protested playing with his sword, "don't even know why I bothered coming." "You came incase things went back remember?" Auron loved poking fun at Alucard, though he was as laid back as they came, trying to get him flustered was Auron's mission in life. "You don't actually think they'd try anything here do you Auron? They aren't stupid, well they all aren't stupid" Alexa chimed in, her joke drawing nervous laughter from the lower levels that were assembled incase of attack. "Just keep an ear open, if I need you I'll call." Auron smiled, turned and started up the stairs. The room at the top was the most ideal place for this meeting, two exits on oppisite sides. It was almost if the engineers who designed this, predicted this meeting. As Auron reached the top of the stairs, Terral, the large vampire who walked Tila in a moment before stood in the doorway blocking Auron's path. "Master Auron, it was agreed there would be no weapons allowed in the meeting hall." Terral was big, intelligent, one of the elders. Well he used to be before he was bested by both Auron and Alucard in a clan tournament. "Have you cut off the wolves claws and taped their jaws shut?" Auron asked, seemingly sincere. "N-No, why would we do such a thing?" "Well then they brought their weapons so I won't be relieved of mine." Auron pushed paste Terral and entered the room. It was evident why she would be the "leader" of this group, she carried herself in a certain way that demanded respect, it possibly could've been how cute she was, but Auron decided it was just something about her that said "I'll tear you a new one". Though she wasn't a large human, Auron guessed she was larged then life when she "phased". "You must be Miss Tila, I am Auron." Auron bowed, customs were a big part of the vampire lifestyle, unfortunetly not so much for the werewolves. "Blue eyes eh? That's odd for a vamp." "I may say the same, you don't see a lot of female leaders." Auron took a seat at a small square table at the center of the room. "Shall we get started?"
Draco
I could hear the lower rank wolves talk about the vampires and they where here just incase they turn on us. I was a battle harden warrior of many years. Not many live to be my age and not be considered a "Elder". I go to them and hold out my hand in a stop talking jesture. "If the vampires wanted to ambush us. Then they would of killed us first so Tila wouldnt have any back up. Im sure they want to end this plight before we are all destroyed. Also Im sure they have their own little reserve the same we do." I said with such words that anyone would believe me instantly. Thats why I rarely talk and for that alone I decline being an Edler year afte year. They have become corupted with power and greed for far too long. I dont want any part in their own sins. I phase back into my human form and got dress. "Tila should be sending for me soon. Tell her I'll be at the train." I said walking back to the tracks. "Yes sir!" The group said. Even though Tila is the Alpha she isnt the oldest. She does often come to me for advise. I sugested we come to this meeting alone with no reserve butthe elders protested to that idea. Vampires, this new horrer, and humans who hunt us. It didnt matter to me. I just wanted to settle down and raise a family. Battle has become stale. It was pointless to kill a vampire. They are fighting for reasons they have forgotten has well. "I hope this truce will last longer than this threat exist." I said stopping a little ways down the hall way.
GothikMoon
" Come little children, I'll take thee away; Into a land of enchantment... Come little children, the time's come to play; Here, in my garden of magic..." Axela's words echoed through the room as she crept up the stairs. Her voice enchanting anyone who heard it. "Come little minions, rise for your master, let your evil rise... Find them now, yes, fly ever faster...In the dark of the night..." As she approached the large vampire, a large smirk spread across her face. " Axela...I know that foul tongue too well." " It's been a long time Terral. I see the younglings finally put you in your place." "Shut your mouth heathen! I would have burned you ages ago." "Hehe...Too late. The humans already tried that once, unfortunately for them I wasn't a mere enchantress." A small chuckle escaped her lips as she started to walk past him. " I would watch your back..witch." Axela stopped in her tracks and whipped around. " Watch your tongue you weak, pathetic fool! You may be an elder, but the next time you dare to talk to me that way, I'll drain your beautiful son right before your eyes." Snarling, she shoved her way past the vampire. Entering the room angrily, she leaned on the back wall.
Akieen Cloud
OCC: Alright, I'm gonna keep this going, everyone who joined who hasn't posted catch up asap. Tila sat down at the table as well as everyone else, she looked over her team and saw with no surprise that it was Talos who was causing trouble as usual. She felt the growl bubbling in her throat. He was standing up in the back talking to the large vampire that had showed them in, not being polite as usual. She stood so suddenly that Auron had his hand on his weapon as she launched her self over the table and grabbed Talos by the back of his shirt and threw him into a chair. "Enough Talos! We're here on a mission and it's time you take it seriously!" He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest propping his feet on the table. She felt her body start to shake as the anger built but took a deep breath keeping it in check. She walked back around and sat down in the chair she was in as the large vampire stalked forward, his attitude not as casual as it had been a little while ago thanks to Talos. Terral crossed his arms and spoke, his voice booming and deep. "Follow me." They all stood and followed him as they were told and a few minutes later they were in a large room built from steel, dents and scratches covered the walls and Tila knew right away that it was a training room. Terral stood in the middle and called them over, when they were lined up he spoke. "In here you are no longer enemies, in here you are no longer a vampire or a werewolf, you are now my dogs! I will feed you, water you, and probably beat you. And I damn well train you. Let's begin." He nodded at someone on the other side of the wall and a door opened on the side of the room; an ear splitting screech filled the room and the hair on the back of Tila's neck prickled at the sound, a scent so sickly sweet and wild filled the room and they all covered their nosed, all but Terral. A growl bubble forth from Tila's throat as she realized that it was one of the monsters they'd be hunting. "Get a good wiff of the scent, memorize it!" How could she not, vampire smelt sweet on their own, the pheromones needed to attract their human prey was irresistible to the creatures but to her and the other wolves it was like sticking their nose in a vat of sugar and lilac, it was horrible. Though she had heard rumors that wolves smelt just as bad to them as they did to the wolves. She cringed away from the monster as it let out another shriek and than charged at them. It was fast, faster than she thought but she was able to keep a good eye on it none the less just as the others. She was about to jump in when Terral caught the thing by the throat and held it there. "This is a weak one, it hasn't fed in months so it's a little crazed as well. Look carefully, it's built to rip things apart, it's teeth and claws are weapons that hold no friend. Now here's where they are the same and different at the same time. He took out a dagger and drew it across the skin of the monster and the sound made her cover her ears, it sounded like chalk being scrapped across and black board mixed with the sound of a car being crushed. The sound was nothing compared to the smell it put off almost at once. It was disgusting; like sour milk and vinegar mixed with the scent of the vampies. She covered her nose at once and moved away. "This is a defense scent, when they put out this scent others come to the rescue. They are the same as us vampires because their skin is like that of stone, they have a pulse and a heart but nothing can penetrate their skin. The only way to kill them is to rip them apart and burn the pieces. Any questions?" They all shook their heads and he threw the monster back across the room into the door it had come from. Tila shivered as the monster screeched and clawed at the other side of the door. "Training over, time to get down to the real hunting in a few hours. I'll be joining you as well as Caimie, our tracker. We leave in five hours, get a bite to eat at the galley that's here, the food is quiet good. There's water there as well." Tila nodded and turned facing her team. "You heard him, you have five hours." She walked out with the rest of them and headed for the galley, the smell was mouthwatering and she couldn't but pile two plates higher than her head with the food that was giving off the smell, fish, steak, ribs, eggs. Proteins, she sat at a table and started eating when a familiar, yet unknown voice sounded from her stacked plates. She looked around the food at Auron who sat as well, a glass of water in his hand. "Can you eat all that?" She nodded through a mouthful of steak, swallowed and gave him a flash of a smile. "Changing take alot of energy so we eat alot." She ducked back behind the food she was consuming and pulled a roll off the top of a plate waiting for another question from the vampire now sitting across from her.
Tetra of sound
OOC: Sorry about the lateness. I was gone due to my little brother hogging the compy... but I'm back now! :animesmil Post would be longer, but I'm in a bit of a hurry. I only get an hour on here.:animeswea Kurai was late. She normally came on time to things like this, but she had a little trouble getting there. Things are rough for lone wolves. Despite her senses, she had still gotten lost. She had a cold, which really messed her up. When she arrived, she bowed to apologize. She was more "proper" than most werewolves. "Sorry I'm late. I'll do my best to be of use to the team." She watched the entire bit of "training" they did. Kurai had stood there quietly, watching everything intently. When it was all over, she helped herself to the meat that was there, but also grabbed a large glass of water. Kurai had heard that when you're sick, you need to drink a lot of fluids. As Kurai was eating, she was also watching Auron. Normally, she wasn't interested in vampires, but this one's behavior intrigued her. Someone who favored the treaty as much has her, but of another race. It truly fascinated her. "This is very interesting..."
Drizzt Do'urden
"I envy your lot in so many ways," Auron started, feeling inpolite interupting her meal, "you gain so many powers, but yet still get to enjoy so much about being human." He took a swig from his glass. It appeared to be water, but really was a mixture of Saline, Sucrose, and plasma. A treat that held many benefits of blood, but wouldn't sustain as long. "Okay enough small talk, it's time to for business. Though I do apologize for interupting your meal." Tila just made an odd "omph" sound, hopefully that was in agreement. "You really are an odd one aren't you?" The young wolf that had joined them chimed in, Auron had thought her name was Kurai, but wasn't certain, "you favor the treaty AND you seem to actually respect us. Weird..." Auron just put an eyebrow up at her and looked back at Tila, "This is sort've the thing I'm wanting to talk to you about. I noticed your friend, Talos I believe his name is. I see he's a bit of a hot head, and I'm sure it has something to do with everything going on." "I'll handle my own men vampire." She almost spat a hunk of food out as she spoke. "I didn't mean any offense, I have more then one member of my squad that I'm worried about. We share many differences, but we are united in a cause." "A cause that your kind brought upon the world Vamp." The big wolf from earlier said from somewhere behind Auron. "Talos, be..." Auron stood, turned and approached the man. "I'm sorry that our kind screwed up, but it's not like your kind doesn't have some glory hounds searching for a way to make their immortaility truley immortal. So if you want to start trouble, and not take this seriously. I swear to you that I'll make it happen." Auron stood, staring the big man down. Aware that this was a slippery slope, he wanted this treaty, wanted it to last forever, but he wouldn't allow these wolves to label him a coward for it. He waited for somebody to hopefully say something, and not let this turn into a day of bloodshed...well at least not vampire or wolf blood being shed
Tetra of sound
Though normally not one to get involved, Kurai immediately jumped in to defend the vampire that intriqued her so much. "There's a saying... it's better to be smart and a coward than brave and stupid... I may not have lived as long as some of you, but I may be wiser..." Kurai turned back to her food for a second, then back to the rest of the group. "Also... Did you know that when a human fears for their life, their stomach stops digesting food? Thought I'd share that small fact..." Kurai finally turned back to her food and continued to eat. Speaking out against her own kind was something even rarer than her speaking at all. Akieen Cloud
A snarl ripped from Tila's throat as Auron and Talos still stood facing each other. "Enough!" She threwher self out of her chair and licked the remains of food from her lips and bared her teeth at them. "Talos I toldyou to behave, I'm so close to ripping your tail off for not listening to your alpha! And you, you speakthe truth we do haveglory hounds but it is not your place to point them out just as it is not ours to point out your races flaws. I respect this treaty, I want it to work. But no morepin pointing the others flaws, you got me Talos?" He simply rolled his eyes causeing Tila to see red, she took a deep breath as her body began to shake. Instead she grabbed a rib bone and threw it at the back of his head causeing it to shatter. She looked back to Auron and sighed. "Sorry about him, he just likes to make trouble, he respects the treaty and my choices, he's our juvinille i guess I can say. He causes trouble just for the hell of it. Now, what about the treaty did you wish to speak about?" (Alrighty, I dunno how many times I'll be able to post. I got lucky that I was able to do this from my DSi.But I'll be on as much as possible)
Inuyasha Fandom
Xen crashed through the ornate double doors, skidding along the floor. "OH MY GOD I'M SO LATE! I'M SO SORRY! SO SOR-" He tipped forward, loosing his footing. With an extremely loud WHAM! he fell flat on his face. "Ow..." He sat up onto his knees, rubbing his forehead. "Owie..." He looked around at all of the staring faces. He stood up, grinning like an idiot. "Sorry... heh heh..." Several of the wolves made snide remarks in hushed voices, laughing at what was in their eyes a stupid and weak vampire. Xen got up, brushing himself off. "Gah..." He said, irritated with himself. "Smooth move, Xen, nice entrance. Real classy." Xen snorted, finishing off patting his clothing down. "Just because I'm younger than all of you doesn't mean I can't kick your asses, Auron." Xen turned, a grin on his face. "Bite me, Auron. "You'd like that too much." Auron replied, smiling back. "I see you're still as lively as ever." Auron responding, drinking his solution. Auron gestured to a pitcher on the table full of the same concoction he was drinking. "Help your self, Xen." Auron pulled back a chair for Xen to sit down. "Why thank you." Xen sat down, smiling."You can be sweet, sometimes." He poured himself a glass, and took a deep drink. It tasted somewhat sweet, and Xen sighed. "It sure doesn't beat the old fashioned stuff, that's for sure." Xen took another drink. "But, In a pinch, it will do." Auron gestured at the wolf-woman sitting across from him. "Xen, I'd like you to meet Miss Tila. Tila, this is Xen, one of our youngsters. He's quite accomplished as a fighter, and very much so the charmer." "It's a pleasure to meet you, Tila." Xen smiled brightly at her. "It should be fun to work together, huh?" Tila snorted, eating her food. Xen leaned over to Auron. "She's not very friendly.." "Would you be, in her position?" Auron responded. Xen shrugged and went back to drinking. "Probably not..." Xen's gaze trailed the room again, he could see he was still the object of attention for many. Most of the wolves were peering at him like he was something to eat. Yet one of the wolves watched him with eyes that bore no hate, only curiousity, and a little bit of lust. Xen sighed, not wanting to get into a fight. But the way that several of them were looking at him, he guessed they would try, simply because they had heard he was young. If they thought he's be easy to take down, then they were in for a rude awakening. Auron turned to him. "Feeling nervous? I understand that you yourself had quite the run-in with what we're hunting." "Yes, I did. It almost killed me." Xen reached behind him, grasping the back of the chair he was sitting in. He lifted himself up, balancing the chair on two legs. Xen turned around, spinning on his hands. He noted everyone looking at him still. However a wolf was looking at him with a rather keen interest, the same one he had noticed earlier with the bedroom eyes. Swinging his weight back, he pushed off, landing on the floor. Using his excess momentum, he performed another backflip, then performed a handless cartwheel. He turned around, and moved up next to a rather large wolf. He was quite muscular, and Xen smiled. "Well, hello there. I always did like a boy with some muscles..." he said, turning on the charm. The wolf was unsure how to handle this, he obviously wasn't expecting this. Xen moved up next to the wolf, unafraid. "Hi..." the wolf responded, a little hesitant himself. Xen's smile was sweet and sultry, as genuine as they come. "Don't worry... I won't bite... unless you like it, of course." Xen laughed at his own little joke. At this, the wolf forced a smile, still a little afraid and not sure how to handle Xen. He looked over to his fellow wolves, but they were keeping their distance from the crazy vampire. Xen sniffed the air, and smiled. The wolf scent was masked by the smell of AXE body spray. Xen had applied the same to himself, albeit a different scent. Xen glanced him over, and moved up to him. "So, what are you doing later?" Xen and the wolf were being stared at. None of the others, vampire or were-wolf, had ever seen a vampire address a were-wolf like that, let alone a homosexual vampire. The were-wolf looked down, embarrassed with all of the attention he was getting from being flirted with by the young vampire. Apparently, he hadn't anticipated Xen noting his earlier interest. "Aw, don't be shy." Xen said, patting the wolf on the shoulder. "Live a little! Dance with me!" Xen grasped the were-wolf by the arm, and started pulling him over to the the jukebox in a corner of the room, ignoring the wolf's stuttered apprehensions. The Galley was used to hold wedding receptions, proms, and other such occasions, not to mention that it was also a bar and grill. Tila watched with an awed expression on her face. "Ballsy little vampire...isn't he?" Auron shrugged in response. "That's Xen for you... Always thinking with what's in his pants...And his heart... He's trying to be chummy with your kind. I'm kind of happy someone like him was turned. He's a nice guy, and doesn't care about species. Xen holds no ill will against anyone. Maybe it's because he's young, but he's one of the most genuine people I know... That, my comrade, is a quality far too rare in this world." "Indeed." Tila replied, watching Xen fiddle with the jukebox, wolf in tow. Xen found a song he liked, he laughed as he inserted the quarters to get the song going. The wolf with him looked like he was going to be ill. Loud, rapid music began to play as he started dancing, the odd movements of the dance making a few people smile. The wolf stared at him, but Xen danced over to the wolf, childing him. "What's the matter, scared? Come on, dance with me!" Xen bumped pelvises with the wolf, doing the dance without missing a beat or motion. Not wanting to be called a coward, the wolf started to half heartedly dance, quickly getting into it, what with Xen saying he could do the dance better. The two of them started laughing and having quite the time. Xen managed to get several people up with him on the dance floor, using only his charm and sheer audacity. They too started getting people to dance, and soon enough, Xen had a small army of both wolves and vampires dancing, laughing, and having a good time. At the same time, the crowd looked like a bunch of idiots. Xen led the way, a huge smile on his face. He didn't care, he was having fun. God only knows how much fun they would have in the coming future. All of them knew this, and so it wasn't hard to get them to enjoy the few sweet moments of peace they had, even if it was with something that had been an enemy for centuries. OOC: Alright, I've tried to establish that the younger crowd isn't a bunch of sticks in the mud like you old farts lol by the way, of all things they could be dancing, they're doing this particular one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuhRFUzIlwE Of course, all of us crazy dancers probably look more like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGY0oM99aog
Draco
"I'm sorry if this hurts your feelings young one, but Im way too old for you." I said looking down at him. "Your just saying that. What are you 80?" Xen said still dancing. "238 years old, in the clan I would be considered an Elder but I dont want that tittle. Besides, Im not into men. I would love to just settle down with a woman." I said moving away from the floor. "Aww, why did you stop dancing?" Xen said still dancing. "I havent danced in nearly 198 years. I am out of tune with you young kids today. Tala, Im going out to grab a bit to eat. Please contact me on the cell if you need anything." I said pointing at the cell phone on my waist band. "All right Wolfie, just dont go telling the next blonde woman you see you love her again." Tala said with a little laugh in her voice. Wolfie's checks grew a slight red. "Right, Want me to grab you a super model hunk while Im out?" I said laughing. "What? No, just go." Tala said with anger. "Fine fine. Anyone care to join me for some food?" I said looking around the room. If a vampire came along he would be in for a suprise. "I would!" Xen and Kurai both chimed in. "Alright, lets go. Daylight is coming and Xen would be hurt if it touches him." I said walking towards the door. (OoC: I hope it was my character you where talking about Inuyasha.) Inuyasha Fandom
Xen walked along with then, nonchalant. He thought this might be fun. And he wasn't wrong. A human man walked up them, and started talking to Xen. Xen was no fool. This man had dire intentions. Xen motioned for them to walk out of sightm his smile wide."You guys go ahead of me. I'll catch up." They moved out of sight, and Xen could smell them as they leaped up to watch Xen. "So... what's your name?" the man asked. "My name is Paul." "Paul, huh? I'm Xen. What makes you take an interest in little old me?" Xen gestured to himself, at his exposed abs. Xen was quite slender, but he still had some muscle definition. His slight frame, however, belied his more ferocious nature. "You wanna party?" Paul asked, two other men came out from behind Xen, surrounding him. Xen noted the gun in Paul's belt under his flannel jacket. Xen could smell beer and a Camel brand cigarettes on Paul's breath. "Why should I?" Xen asked, still seemingly uncaring that he was surrounding."I'm sorry, but you just aren't my type." Paul pulled out a gun, pressing it into Xen's neck. "Around here, there's two ways to party. You can do it with a smile on your face, or you can do it screaming." "what, going to rape me, Paul? Put it out of your feasible little head if you want to be alive come dawn." "Little bitch. Tell me I'm not your type." Paul pressed the gun into Xen's neck. Xen smiled, unafraid."You're not my type." Blood colored Paul's cheeks, but he kept his cool for his friends. Paul was angry and yet also confused. Xen's casual tone was not at all what he expected. "Tell me why you aren't scared...Before I blow your god damn head off." "Because I'm armed as well, Paul." Xen lifted his leg, his smile even wider. "Go ahead, take out my knife. I won't stop you... After all, you have the gun, don't you?" Paul reached into Xen's pant leg, taking great pleasure in touching Xen's smooth skin, it felt soft to the touch. Xen no longer smiled. How close this pathetic human was to having his head removed by Xen's left foot remained to be seen. But, Xen didn't like gushers, it might stain his clothes. Paul's eyes widened, finding the knife. He pulled it out, and showed it off to his friends. "Now, give it back and maybe we can have a duel." Xen was still as perky as ever, his attitude unchanged. Paul pushed the gun deeper into Xen's skin, but He didn't budge. Red again colored Paul's cheeks. "Why should I give this back? You might stick it in me while I'm lovin' you." "Oh, I'm going to stick it in you, rest assured." Xen swung his foot up, and saw what the humans did not; the gun flying to land on a rooftop several blocks away. Xen grasped the man, and his cronies shirked back. Xen pulled him close, and Xen felt the blade stop again'st his skin, breaking. The man realized too late he had picked the wrong boy to rape. "You know, I can tell you've killed before. That's okay. I have too, many times. You probably never showed mercy on them, either. And as you well know by now, I'm much stronger and much faster than I look. And much older, might I add." Paul's face contorted, he was scared. By this time his friends had disappeared. "This is a jungle you know, but not of plants and trees, this is a jungle of neon and chrome. But, there are still animals, they just look different. You're a predator, and so am I. I'm just the more powerful of us." Xen smiled wide, showing off his fangs, long and sharp. Paul now looked as he were staring into his own coffin. "The jungle has rules, you know. Never take from it more than you need, and if you do, be a sportsman about it. You failed to reconize a fellow predator, and now, you're going to pay for it." "Please....don't kill me..." he begged. Xen's fingernails elongulated, becoming more like jet black claws. He traced one across Paul's cheek, making him bleed. Xen licked the wound, tasting the blood. Paul shirked away, wincing. Xen's eyes shifted, his pupils becoming slits. "You were going to kill me, weren't you?" Xen asked, and at this Paul nearly fainted. "Well. I guess so..." Xen climbed onto of the poor shmuck, Xen's smile evil incarnate. "So. Any last requests?" "Mercy! Please!" Paul begged. Xen shrugged. "Sorry, I'm not inclined, because of what I can already tell about you. Sorry, but I'm fresh out of mercy. It's on my grocery list, right next to compassion and cookies. Nothing else? Too bad. Now, be sure to say hello to the devil for me. Tell him I'll be there soon, to join you." Xen's words were a cruel joke to torture a victim he cared nothing for. The victim deserved no mercy, he had never shown it to any of his own victims. Xen smiled, and bit. Paul tried to scream, but Xen clasped his hand over his mouth. The wolves he had been with jumped down behind him, Wolfie's arms crossed. Kurai looked on, curious about the feedings of a vampire. Xen dropped the man after he had passed out, the man's blood trickling from his mouth. "Mercy.... Please. Like I'd show mercy to scum." Wolfie spoke. "Wasn't that a bit much?" "Xen...didn't your mother ever teach you not to play with your food?" Kurai spoke, observing the man. Xen wiped the blood from his mouth, smiling again. "Eh, probably. But I had fun. The world can do with one less asshole, right? At least he won't be preying on any other seemingly young and helpless innocent teenagers." Xen laughed at the ridiculous notion of teenagers being innocent, at least in this day and age. They damn sure weren't when he was human. Wolfie inspected the human. "He's not dead, Xen." Xen shrugged. "Like I care. If he lives, then he lives. If he dies, so much the better. It's not like he's going to be talking about what happened to him.People with think he's crazy." Wolfie sighed. "Well, shall we get going again?" "I'm full, so yeah. Let's go." Xen set of beside them, talking excitedly, as if the previous moments had never occurred. Drizzt Do'urden
Terral entered the room, Auron thought about how amazing it was to see vampire and werewolf alike stand as he entered. Perhaps it was the mutual respect given to somebody in "command", or perhaps it was just the anticipation of the coming mission. Not many people, human, vampire, or wolf have survived more then a handfull of encounters with the...beasts. Everybody knew that, and everybody was ancy. "Are we missing some people? I believe i said 5 hours not 5 and a half...Auron, Tila I'd hoped you would be stronger leaders then this." Auron shot a look at Tila that screamed "Can you believe this ass?" "Kurai, go fetch the stragglers." Auron turned to ask one of his to, but was interupted before he could get a word out. "Don't worry, I'm sure they're all together. Kurai may be young but she has one of the best noses in our clan. I'm sure she'll have them back very soon." Tila assured Auron and Terral "Hmph, I hope that in the future you two do a better job of keeping your troops in line. I will be waiting, just come through this door when everybody returns." With a low throated growl Terral turned and exited the room the same way he entered.
Tetra of sound
Kurai had watched the entire thing. The feeding of vampires interested her. It made Kurai feel like a biologist. Then she remembered the comment about how it was a "jungle". "Welcome to the jungle..." Kurai said with a small smile on her face. Kurai began to remember something. It was about the others, and the mission. "I think we should get back. I'm getting the feeling someone's angry that we're not there..." Kurai began to walk away, but then turned around. "I think we should try to get there as soon as possible. If you want a 'ride', Xen, let me know. I don't mind letting an ally ride on my back in my wolf shape..." Kurai turned back the way she was headed, and continued to walk. Her cold was bothering her again. Colds made it hard for her to find her peers by scent, leaving her to use her ears, or worse, ask for directions.
Zephyr
OOC: Okay, it was not my intent to miss out on this for a whole week. Sorry about that. Been a bit wild around here lately. In a corner of the small dining area in which both the werewolves and vampires had gather sat the smallest member of the the group. Phelan was leaning up against the wall, notebook in one hand and a pen in the other, observing the group and noting down any manner of information. On occasion he would break for just long enough to grab something to eat from the plate piled high with food that was sitting next to him. Auron, claims to be the Alpha of the vampires, however Terral is the one leading this whole group right now. Interesting social structure, note to look into it later. Tense mood in the area, expected from this kind of union, though our Alpha seems to be adjusting to working with Auron rather well. Good? Bad? To be seen. Talos was causing trouble again, no big shock there. Wish he'd get his act together and take something serious for once. Kurai was late, odd for her. Still got here in time to see the "pet" that Terral keeps. Seems to be adapting to the group as well, currently out "playing" with a vampire, think I heard the name Zen. Noticing the lack of food on his plate at this stage Phelan closed the notebook and stood up to grab more, stopping for a moment to notice for the first time that the ground seemed cold against his bare feet. Before he had the chance to obtain more food, however, the door to the room burst open and Terral appeared, complaining about the missing members of the group before disappearing out of the door again. Phelan just sighed to himself and started making his way back to the food. OOC: The italics are for the writings in the notebook. Just think random notes scribbled around the page. Draco
"Kurai, get rid of the body, Xen I need to talk to you." I said motioning Xen over. "Aw do I have to?" Kurai asks. "Yes, get rid of it before his friends come back with cops." I said picking up the handgun and examining it. "What do you want Wolfie?" Xen asked. "You need to be more carefull about who you kill especially if their just humans." I said pointing at Kurai who was dragging the body towards a trash can. "Why do I need to? He was going rape me then kill me." Xen said. "I know but you let his friends live. They may have been scared off so easy but their are some in this "jungle" who arnt that easy to scare. Their are people who hunt your kind and mine. Help Kurai with the body and head back to the meeting." I said pushing him towards Kurai. "What about you Wolfie? Your going back too arnt you?" Kurai said after Xen helped her dump the body. "I'm still hungry. Besides I don't think its safe for Xen to be in direct sunlight. Too much of it and he can just turn into ash. I'll be fine. Watch each others back and don't kill anything else ok?" I said walking into a dark part of the alley. "Right." They both said. "I only hope that one day, fighting will never happen again between the walkers of the night." I said walking around the corner towards a 24/7 resturant. "Maybe now I can eat." Akieen Cloud
Tila held in her anger well on the outside but on the inside she could feel the trembleing begin. She had been embaressed by her caln, by the strongest ones chosen by the elders and she had been embaressed. It was just as bad when a few of her missing members strode through the door, she turned on them seeing her vision get hazey with red she nearly exploded. "Where the hell have you been five hourse was that not clear?!" The two shrunk away from her anger for a breif moment and then ducked their heads down not meeting her eyes in a submissive gesture, apparently soothing her anger. She took a deep breath and looked down at the two of them touching thier cheeks with the back of her palm she soothed them. "Never mind, look just stay with the pack will you?" They nodded and she smiled at them letting them see she wasn't angry with them. She stretched and and looked around til she found a small closet in the corner. She nodded to them and then to Auron and walked to it, opening it she entered and stripped down, phaseing into her massive wolf form she pawed the door open and gathered her clothes in her mouth. Trotting out to sit by the two younger wolves the smaller of them took her clothes from her mouth and held onto the them. She snorted in thanks and stood up shaking out her fur, she sat back down on her haunches and tilted her head upward letting out a low toned and long howl, a calling, it was only a matter of moments before answering howls sounded from all around them, she lifted back her lips in what was unmistakeably a wolfy smile. Not long after than her wolfs came running in, their clothes clutched in their fangs. She nodded as she counted her entire pack and gave the signal to phase back, she did as well, her cheeks turning slightly red as the vampire watched. Dressing in a hurry she turned around and met his eyes. "We're all here, suns about to go down and we'll be getting started. Your group should be here shortly. their scent is getting stronger."
