Mr. Maul
I am looking for a (free?) program that will take a movie that is in AVI format and burn it to a DVD that will play in a non-computer DVD player (such as the one hooked up to my TV). This is proving to be a far more difficult task than it should. Through all my searching and downloading and testing of programs, I have yet to find a single program that does this with ease. Either I get cryptic error messages and the burning process never starts, or it burns the DVD, but it won't play. This happens with every program I try. There's got to be a simple way to do this without using 27,487 different programs that all seem to not work. Any suggestions? (I'm running Windows Vista, btw. No jokes. That's not the problem.) Korey
That's rather odd, because my camera records in AVI format....all I ever do is save for web and it's ready to go. I know that iMovie and FinalCut are good for saving things in AVI format, but that's only if you compress them after saving the file. The initial project is saved in a .mov format and you need format your save for the .avi format. Been a minute since I've messed with that stuff though, heh.
