There was this one dream where I was with some friends from church, and we had been enlisted in the Navy, and were at sea. However, I didn't want to stay so I decided to escape from the Navy vessel. Then my mom shows up and she's breaking me out, taking control of the Navy vessel. When she was parallel parking it so we could escape to her yacht, I realised it was a dream, and took a running jump off the bow, and ended up flying to another island, where I was swallowed by a moose. So, uh, yeah, that was pretty...weird. ;
XeEmO
I have weird dreams all too often. I'll just post my dream from last night. I was in wal-mart and I stole something which is weird, because I don't shoplift, and the alarm thing was going off as I left. I don't even think I was stealing anything specific, it was just something. This old guy was screaming at me to come back in when the alarm went off. I went outside and put it in my friends car, which happened to be some youtube celebrity I don't actually know in real life. I went in after dropping the thing off and walked around the store with this weird old guy and some girl that worked there. They were going to check and see if I stole anything. Eventually the old guy left and I was just kind of hanging out with this girl. The dream ended when I was just in some back room talking to this girl. Woke up. Didn't really even want to wake up. Not sure what that meant. I also had this dream last night I was in school in some sort of video game creation class. All I know is I hated the teacher. I think I made some joke quietly in the middle of this video of Toy Story 3 he was playing and then he decided he had to start the lecture over. Then I got mad at him or something and made reference to this teacher I had semi-recently who I also hated. The teacher I was referring to was real, but I couldn't remember why I hated him when I was in the dream so I was frustrated. I'll get more to that teacher in a thread I'm about to make. I was thinking about making the thread when i woke up, but instead I went back to sleep. Now I feel I have incentive to make it. chibi-master
Wow. Dreams that you have when you're vehemently sick are very strange. I dreamed that I was lost in an arctic tundra and was slowly freezing to death. Right as I had collapsed in the snow, I remembered that I was sick and in I was in fact only dreaming. At this point I floated into the sky and gently flew toward the edges of the tundra which ended with an enormous frozen waterfall. When I reached the waterfall part, I dropped out of the sky on a bicycle and rode on the ice of the waterfall all the way to the end. At the bottom of the waterfall, it was no longer frozen and was part of a desert. I touched the sand and became a multi-colored rose in the middle of a vast desert. Then I woke up, severely dehydrated.
OMNOMNOMALY
I'm actually always surprised when I don't have weird dreams. Honest to God, my regular night consists of some really effed up brain activity. I've had sailor moon themed dreams, super power dreams, weird school related dreams, murder related dreams and everything in between. But to this day, the one that stands out the most is one I had a few years ago. I'm 16 or 17 or so and for whatever reason the whole adult world, basically anyone over 18, has turned black and white and gone... mute, I guess, would be the best word. They go on about their lives, day to day like it's normal, but they can't see or hear or interact with anyone under that age. So the whole rest of the world is black and white and then there's us kids left and we need to find a way to save it. So i essentially go to this safe house where everyone is gathered and try and rally up support to fix things, and figure out how. I don't know why or how this is, but I'm living in New York or something? And I know that the only way we can save the grown ups, is to go to the sky to find the golden Buddhas hidden in the clouds. So I assemble a team of kids from 6-17, and we pull out these gigantic tea pots. Like big enough for you to sit on. And I'm like, okay everyone, get on your tea pot so we can go. So, we all get on our tea pots and push off the ground and suddenly we're flying, going straight up. As we break through the first layer of clouds there are these gigantic spiraling towers with big platforms going side to side all the way up. And inside these towers, which have no real walls, are tigers. So we're flying past these tigers in towers and break through the second set of clouds to where the top of the towers are, and the sun is out and there is colour up here. And the tea pots don't really fly, they actually just go up and down, like those bouncy balls with handles that everyone had when I was a kid, so we had to like direct our tea pots in the direction we wanted to go. And then we set off to find golden Buddhas. Yeah it still makes like no sense. It was pretty sick, though. The same year I had one about traveling through this market in a 3rd world country, but we were traveling in a train cart... thing. Anyways we got dumped in the ocean just in time to see Bruce Willis jumping out of a helicopter and this big oil tanker thing set on fire. So the water was on fire. Awesome. More recently I had a dream where my friend's best friend passed away in surgery but I was at the hospital and they weren't and I was sent in to see the friend and it was actually just her head. And the head was actually Sarah Jessica Parker's. And she had kept on donating body parts til she was just a head. Wat.
Raiha
Pretty much any dream wherein I am flying is weird to me. Because I have to have momentum, leap off from a tall structure, and move my body in the sort of breast stroke style. And it's more gliding rather than flying. I think those are the weirdest because I have them so infrequently. The last one I had that I strongly remember was a sort of spiritual power dream where I took back control from an ex boyfriend that had been brutally horrible to me in the most passive awful ways. I remember it being caged in terms of a sort of fantasy setting, where I was the maiden who waited on the half wall of stone dividing the real world from the dream world. And he came to fight me. But I stopped him with...weapons made from the stalks of bamboo. And even though he had ripped off the halves of my wings he still feared me and he fled my power and my sense of purpose. And then I was free to glide up and down the endless half wall and by the end of my dream, my wings were beginning to grow back in. And yet I still flew like an Olympic swimmer in the breast stroke division.
chibi-master
I just woke up and got ready for school, but I had to post this before I forgot... I was in my high school and I had just left a strange exam thing where I was talking to one of my friends. Upon leaving the exam hallway thing, that friend transformed into a different friend of mine. My friend handed me a paper that was on the ground, and suprisingly for what I've heard about dreams, I could read perfectly. It contained evidence that one of the school secretaries was viciously bullying a student. I took the paper and ran to the Principal's offce. I showed him the paper and he said I would have to testify with it. So I went to the staff lounge where the secretary was to have her trial. The other witnesses were a small girl, no older than 7, and an old woman who I assumed was a teacher. The judge was one of the supervisors of a club that I'm in. Then the secretary arrived. I could tell she was a very bad person. She gave the impression of a very irritated yet amused snake. The little girl was holding the folder containing the most important piece of evidence- the paper I found. The secretary moved her arm in a strange way, trying to grab the folder. I snatched the little girl out of the way and said, "Here, why don't I hold on to this?" The secretary smiled a very strange smile. Suddenly a phone rang and the secretary answered it. She said that she needed to go down to the office to write a pass for someone. Since she was on trial, the club supervisor, the old woman and the little girl decided to escort her to the office. I sat down to wait, but as they were leaving, I saw that the secretary had an ivory dagger. I sprinted from the room to go after the group because I feared for the lives of the people escorting her. But she just gave them the slip and went down a different hallway than them, heading toward some stairs. I popped up behind her and said, "Nice try, but the office is the other way." She then raised the dagger over her head, her back turned to me. It was as if she was saying, "I have a weapon, so whatever." I followed her down the stairs. She eventually got annoyed. The secretary whipped herself around and said to me, "Ashley, don't make me stab you! Otherwise I'll know how it feels!" "Then do it!" I argued. "Wouldn't you just love to?! WOULDN'T YOU JUST?!" (Yes, I'm aware that my dream sounds like a crappy movie.) The secretary gave a strangled howl and made a stab at me. I used what I knew from karate to push the knife away and punch her in the stomach. Then I kicked her in the face several times, though she didn't seem to be hurt by it until I landed a blow to her eye. As she reeled away, I saw the other supervisor of my club. I shouted for her to help me, but she couldn't hear. So I continued to brawl with the secretary until I pushed her over the rails and she fell to her death. I tried to look over the rails to see what had become of her, but my alarm woke me up before I could see over the edge.
