With GGG Heavy Industries being one of the biggest record companies in the universe, many artists signed to the label have been understandably fearful for their artistic futures. Luckily for them, a new CEO was quickly unveiled: the fierce and foxy Veronica Vixen. Out of seemingly nowhere Ms. Vixen was appointed to fill Gideonâ??s shoes, and she has already began her tenure with a bang. In these short couple of months sheâ??s already signed a staggering amount of bands, including the popular The Clash at Demonhead and the up-and-coming Sex Bob-ombs amongst others. Atop of this, Ms. Vixen has orchestrated what she claims will be a new staple for the company, the â??Pop Culture Expoâ??, which will feature a number of the recently signed artists as well as â??most everything else you could possible imagineâ??. The first expo is due sometime in the very near future, and Ms. Vixen has people working around the clock to ensure this. With all of this exciting news coming to a fore, it looks like the future of GGG Heavy Industries is in more than capable hands."[/size][/i]

The new head of GGG Heavy Industries. The first word that comes to mind when looking to describe her is "sexy", and the word itself does her no justice. Between her sultry voice and her cool, collected and mysterious demeanor, its nigh impossible for anyone to resist her charm. Little is actually known about her, however, aside from rumors of her having been involved with Gideon at some point in the past, as well as supposedly having been involved in underground fighting rings. Veronica is known for her appearance mirroring Gideons: a tight fitting red vest and white suit jacket, narrow black slacks and tall white heels. This, coupled with her pulled back ponytail, bright red lips and dark eye make up give her the appearance of a rocker.

[b]The Clash at Demonhead[/b]
Since having lost Todd Ingram and coming into conflict with Scott in the past, the band has taken a turn for the better. Lead singer "Envy" Adams has gone back to referring to herself as Natalie Adams and become much more pleasant. Recently they hired a new bassist for their band, NegaScott, who has begun a relationship with Natalie.

[b]Sex Bob-ombs[/b]
With the addition of Young Neil to the line-up the band has gotten substantially better, raising their status from "average" to "just above average". Though not wildly popular they play many venues, and have a moderately sized, somewhat loyal fan base.[/indent][/font][/center]

[size="2"][font="Lucida Sans Unicode"]I was trying to work on the thoughts I discussed with you, about making the RP a more visual experience, and quickly knocked up a few icons to use within the RP. They're fairly rough and I won't be offended if anyone wants to make some better ones, but these are preliminaries:

I figured these would be the most common effects needed, it'll become too cluttered if we use this for every single KAPOW, THWACK or WALLOP, although I can make some more if necessary. I can also add colour to them if you would like, I was thinking maybe red words on white background? I can supply the IMG codes to each of the players and they can use the icons as and when they need to.

What does anyone think? And does anyone have any other ideas on how to make the RP a little more visual?

[font="Book Antiqua"]These are genius, DeLarge. I was actually going to ask you today if you thought we should have similar icons, but you've beaten me to the punch! I think these will be absolutely perfect for the RP-- not that I'm prohibiting anyone from taking their own crack at making icons. Anyone can contribute, and we can all vote on the ones to use if it comes to that. And [b]DeLarge[/b], I'd be interested in seeing the icons as red letters against a white background as well, if you wouldn't mind.

As for using icons for every sound effect, I agree that the posts will become cluttered very quickly, but that might just be my personal taste. If everyone else would like icons for regular sound effects that's gravy by me, but I'l probably [don't hold me to this] just stick to making sound effects as such:

I was thinking along the same lines as you for other sound effects, hopefully the thread won't be too cluttered with those rather than full-on icons. Still, we may need to mark the actual RP thread as Image Heavy just to be safe. [b]First off, those are great DeLarge. It's a great idea too, I didn't even think of anything like that.

If it's okay though, I might make some for my own character. For her personal use. Basically stuff that would apply to her character alone.

Besides that, I can try to make some for the thread too.

EDIT: Okay, so the top one out of these three is what I like the most and I might make more for the thread since it has kind of an arcade game feel to it. (The middle one I don't like as much as I thought I did now that I look at it.)

The last one is just an example of what I might make personally for my own character, if I can find a decent font for it.[/b]

You'll see I've messed around a little with the formatting, it's entirely up to you whether you do this too or not, there is no set "house style", just go with what you think captures the spirit of the RP best.

[font="Book Antiqua"]Firstly, I want to thank DeLarge and SusanooNoMiko for taking care of the rp while my computer rebels against me. You both are too great, and I dunno what I'd do without friends to do my job when I'm too incompetent. :D (Just fyi I'm using my sister's at the moment, much to her chagrin. Hopefully mine will be up and running in a few days at most. I might be able to get up my first post tonight *fingers crossed*). And another note for DeLarge-- your first post was great buddy. Perfectly in line with what I was looking for. :D

On to business, though-- DeLarge is absolutely right, there are no big plans for anyone yet, not until the Pop Culture Expo. The expo, as written in DeLarge's post, will be roughly a week in universe, which I'm hoping will give time for people to get to maybe their 3rd, 4th or maybe even 5th ex. A quick note on the expo-- it'll be a hotspot for various exes looking to spring traps, maybe some that aren't even yours.

Well, to echo DeLarge's sentiments adequately expressing my feelings on the matter, I am extremely eager to read everyone's posts! And Lilt, I'm looking forward to seeing your fonts as well. If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to ask, yes?

My character is going to have a romantic interest that will be an important part of his storyline, but not everyone has to have one. I will say though, IF everyone does have a love interest I'll think up an event later involving all of them.[/font]
