Inuyasha Fandom
His work was done here, though he didn't feel a sense of being liberated, nor a sense of being blessed. There was more to do, as was his task here in the human realm. He and his allies were different than their bretheren, they were the ones protecting the truely innocent in this bloody war. On stepping outside, three more people greeted him, their own angelic appearences disguised as that of humans. The boy's black wings seemed to let off a dark energy, before they floated away as individual feathers. Their expressions were the same as his, they knew there were many other souls trapped like these had been, and needing to be found and released. Hoping on a motorcycle behind one of the others, they sped off. Following closely behind them were the other two angels. The boy gazed on into the sunset, the sunlight glinting upon his shades. And yet, the man before him on the motorcycle wasn't an angel at all like him, though still serving the same purpose as the boy. A demon who knew the same calling and duties. The line between heaven and hell blurred even more, ever more. --------------------------- In this tale, not every hero is pure. Not every angel is good, and not every demon is evil. Both exist on both sides of the war between these two great powers, while it seems their leaders turn blind eyes to the feuding between their charges. Demonic and divine...When the heavens act a mirror image to hell, how do you tell the difference? We are those in the middle, destroying those who make the humans suffer, whether they be angelic, demonic, or once human in origin. We are the protectors of the humans. We are angels, and we are demons, wings sullied by what must be done. Our appearences in our true forms differ as widely as where we come from, though we are united in our cause. That which goes bump in the night isn't always evil. As for our abilities, in either form we are in we have far more superior strength, agility, and speed than humans. Your muscles might be bulky enough to squash televisions, though there might be someone who looks like a twig that hurls tanks around like toys. Appearences can be deceiving. There are several major enemies, general things, and allies, for us to face or contend with as a situation calls for them. Here is a list: The Shikabane: There is meaning in an individual's death. Death is our final curtain call, our eternal peace with the world. But there are those who can't accept this and because of intense regrets and obsessions they had at the moment of death, they rise again as animated corpses with a human conciousness. But, this is extremely rare. These beings are called Shikabane. Almost always, these Shikabane begin to harbor feelings of hatred for the living, and so begin to use powers stemming from their obbsessions and the means of their death -called Curses- upon those still living, mercilessly murdering humans that cross their paths. These beings simply aren't human anymore, and take it out on the living. That is where the Shikabane Royals come into play in this deadly game of chess. They kill their own kind, in order to gain access to heaven, or peace, or something else entirely. No one is quite sure except for those whom Shikabane Royals make a pact with. This bond allows these particular undead to fight in human form, and to retain who they were in life. There is only a short time to forge this bond, so there must be a normal bond between the deceased and the Shikabane previously before death. If no pact is formed between a human and a shikabane, then shikabane WILL eventually become a monster. Not much is known about the length of time it takes for this to occur. If such a bond between the two becomes broken, or the bonded mortal slain, there are only two options left to a Shikabane Royal. One is to die, which is what usually happens, or they too become normal shikabane, and will begin to act just as shikabane typically do eventually. It is preferable to die, rather than become a true monster. Only someone who is able to negotiate the terms of the contract can forge this powerful bond. Both the Shikabane and the Royals seem to be created far more often when angels or demons are near, though not nessessarily involved. This number increases dramatically the more there are in a given area. However, it is the Shikabane who are the only creatures who do not necessarily appear similar in appearence to themselves in life when in an alternate form. Shikabane have been known to take on other forms as well, depending on how they died. Shikabane Royals however only have one form. No matter which of the two are encountered, they all smell of the stale aroma of death. There is only one way to kill a shikabane. You have to destroy its brain. The Angels: Heaven's mercenaries, armies, spys, assassins, and a multitude of other things. All manners of creatures comprise the forces of Heaven. Many, many lower ranked angels are little different in appearence than the same ranked demons, other than color and manner of clothing. Rumor has it these are more or less the angelic or demonic forms of various animals, and leading to this is their bestial movements and inteligence. Higher ranking angels have a human form, and are similar in appearence to their angelic forms. These angels truely have the sentiment of humans, though not all are the compassionate visions of typical theological angels. Just like humans, some have hearts consumed by evil, and perpetuate the war they have always known since the dawn of mankind against the forces of the demons. At this particular moment, the angels are more concerned with how long this bloody stalemate has lasted, and seek a way to decimate the forces of hell once and for all, for better or worse. The Demons: Theology depicts them as vile, evil creatures, all under the command of the fallen angel Lucifer, who perpetually wages war upon the heavens. In truth, Demons come in all shapes and sizes, and are ranked almost identically to the angels, the lowest being bestial in form. Higher ranked demons have human intelligence, and their hearts can be just as pure or corrupt as any creature, mortal or not. As are the Angels, so too are the Demons hellbent on destroying their eternal foes. However, not even they wish to remember just how this war started, they simply care about winning. It is rather disturbing just how much alike demons and angels act, especially in the concern of innocent bystanders, such as the humans and nearby wildlife. They often give neither pity nor quarter when it comes to battling angels, though in turn the Angels do the same. Will you join me in the hunt? Okay, here's the sign up sheet. Feel free to be as creative as you want, though I want a lot of details. Remember though, that even our second forms are humanoid, and our facial features and muscle structure don't differ that much between the two, unless you're a shikabane. All of us also have the ability to partially transform from human to our other forms. Name: Age: (if you had a mortal death, include it in with the overall age of your character. Race: (angel, demon, or Shikabane) Human Appearence:( Typically, we resemble who we once were in our mortal lives, though perhaps a more idealized version.) Second Form Appearence: Personality: (self explanitory) Weapons: (be reasonable, please?) Powers: (what kind of abilities do you have that aren't exactly normal? Do you weild the powers of water or ice? Or do you control the air? Perhaps conjuring fire is right up your alley...) History: (be creative. Were you human once? Or were you born the creature you are? What have you done in your life until now? Remember, Shikabane were always once human.) Let's get this party started. Let us dance with the dead. Shwa
Name: Kenneth "Ken" Romanos Age: 31 in Human Form Race: Angel Human Appearance: Human Form Second Form Appearance : Angelic Form Personality: During his years of living as a soldier for the heavens, Kenneth has seen lots of bloodshed in the name of his leader and against his foes as well, battle has made him into a hard man. Nothing seems new to Kenneth as he travels between the angelic world and human realm, he often envies the human race for advancing through time with so much history and darkness in its past. He favors the humans who live their lives to the very end, it shames him that they can come back as horrible creatures. Kenneth has grown to lean towards the "whatever happens, happens" attitude when he visits the human realm, taking shape into one of them calms him from his duties. A laid back individual with a sense of duty and honor comes from him, a bit rebellious at times and brash in his actions, but he always gets the job done. Weapons: Kenneth can pluck one of the feathers from his wings at any given time and draw up a mighty bow and arrow arsenal to use against his enemies. During times of war, this was his favorite weapon to use along with his powers. They were a deadly combination, those who came upon his aim were never fortunate to survive the strike. Powers: Manipulation over the element of wind, nothing too powerful as conjuring up hurricanes or tornados, but strong enough to create gusts and move objects at his whim. His small wind attacks are formitable themselves, cutting the flesh with a flick of his hand or binding someone in a small wind cage. History: During the 16th century of human records, Kenneth was a man of entertainment as a well known fighter who won his bouts fair and square, with a loving family by his side and friends to last him a lifetime. The man was also a devout believe in the church and made his weekly, sometimes daily visits just to find inspiration and enlightenment. On a night venturing home, Kenneth was ambushed by unknown fiends, leaving him dead after the assault, his spirit wondered before he was found by, now, his closest friend and ally Ian, an angel sent to retrieve Kenneth's soul for the greater purpose of serving their leader in holy battles. Though it pained him to be taken away from his life and family, Kenneth agreed to serve his leader when the time arose, and it did many a times. After a while, the many battles seemed to blur and time seemed to move fast from his train of though, his old life now seems like a distant memory that cant be pieces so simply anymore. Kenneth had longed to return to the human world during times of peace and prosperity, one day he flew to the human realm and expertly disguised himself among the living beings. He stayed there for some time in the form he had when he was a human himself, yet again making friends and allies in the human realm. He would often hear stories of creatures and monsters, also see them in "movies" portrayed by actors and special effects. The fact that these humans can go around and live their lives knowing that some of those creatures actually exsist for real amazed Kenneth, how he longed to be nieve once again. Now, the angel has stayed in the human world for almost 10 years, completing his duties to protect the human race while living amongst them, he still sees humanity as a good thing. Even though his leader is somewhat objective of the thought, but still grants permission to Kenneth to live amongst them to keep them out of harms way. *Hope that's alright*

ExcelExcel
Name: Tahlia Rensford Age: 18 at time of death, 4 years have passed since. Race: Shikabane Human Form: Second form: Personality: Confident and always smiling, Tahlia seems like a normal girl at first glance. In a fight, she fears nothing, and will take risks that would normally get someone killed. Her obsession, her regret... Her attachment to this world lies in the fact she has to save people and help them, as she couldn't do for her family. She is filled with filled with a deep hatred torwards all shikabane, and that hate is the reason she fights. What she tells no one, however, is her fear of just how much time she actually has before becoming just another monster. She only hopes that she is able to kill those who killed her first. Weapons: Dual .45 pistols Curse: Tahlia's curse ironically what keeps her from succumbing to becoming just another monster. By despising all other shikabane, and believing she can help people even though she's dead, she is able to keep her humanity and keep fighting with her human form. By drawing on the power of the void of death, she is able to regenerate almost infinitely, and at a truly astounding rate. When her curse fully manifests, she is terrifying to behold. History: Tahlia was a normal high school girl, who liked boys, anime, and vanilla ice cream. She lived in an apartment complex near her school, and was content with life until that fateful spring day on which she would exhale her last breath as one of the living. It was on that day that she and her family were attacked by a group of monsters, what she would eventually come to know as shikabane. In fact, the entire apartment complex was. Tahlia watched as her mother and father were brutally murdered, and then her little brother. She heard her sisters dragged away, and then they too killed. Last of all, Tahlia, she felt her legs broken, then her arms, and then her chest impaled and her heart destroyed. It was with her dying, rasping breath as her blood pooled around her, that she saw the terrified expressions on her family's faces as their bodies were ripped apart even more and set ablaze. It was then, she felt that anger, that hate that kept her from staying dead. She arose that night, her body naked though fully restored. All around her, she could see the burned remains of the apartments and the people who lived in them. Nothing remained unscarred. Everything has been annihilated. She knew then she had to find those who killed her, and destroy them. Edited February 26, 2011 by ExcelExcel
Akieen Cloud
Name: Anue Ookami Age: 29 Race: Demon Human Appearance: Anue stands at about 5ft 7in and weighs about 158lbs, she has a slender build, slightly muscular she has black hair with bright blond roots, bright green eyes she wears hip hugger jeans with two thin strapped shirts, the under one is bright red and the top one is black. She wears thick soled combat boots to complete the wardrobe. She wears very little jewelry, a simple silver cross around her neck and a silver bracelet with a wolf charm on it on her left wrist. She also has a tattoo of a wolf on her right shoulder. Usually has a smoldering cigarette in her mouth as well. Second Form Appearance: Her appearance doesn't change much other than the fact that her hair changes color, the blond becomes black and the black becomes blood red, her eyes turn bright yellow, she gains elongated canines giving her an animalistic look. She also sprouts 4 wings, the larger two resemble giant bat wings and the smaller two located directly under them resemble two small ones. Personality: Upbeat and slightly hyper she loves to have fun and will make a joke out of most anything if she can. Not one to be overly serious she is taken for granted most of the time as a well developed fighter. Easily distracted she can never sit for to long of a time period or she becomes overly bored and tends to do very foolish things. A chatterbox she can have a one sided conversation and not even notice if the other person is answering or not. Very child like she often gets herself into a tight spot just by being curious. The expression 'Curiosity killed the cat.' seemed to be made specifically for her. Weapons: She wields a large scythe made of Onyx and steel, the handle is formed to look like a human spine. But she is also very skilled at hand to hand combat, when not in the mood for using her scythe she uses her unique fighting style of Salivate to kick some ass. Powers: Anue can control fire to a certain extent, she can bend it to make it a lethal weapon or a gentle flame to light a cigarette. History: Born into a not so wealthy family Anue grew up on the wrong side of town, every night there was a killing or a robbery. Growing up in this kind of neighborhood she became well known in fighting and often had to put it to good use. Being human was her only downside. She was unique in her own aspect she never gave up and she never let things get to her. Even when she had to watch as her parents were murdered in front of her for a scrap of food she was able to shrug it off after a few minutes of crying and move on fighting for the right to live. At the age of 22 she was killed in a hit and run, not the most eventful way of dieing as she would say now. She was walking across the street and someone, not watching where they were going(a rich snob who was late for a whore meeting as she puts it) hit her and made her flip four times in the air til she hit the asphalt breaking her back and most of her ribs and rupturing a few of her organs. She lay there for what felt like hours til her eyes finally closed for the last time, feeling as if she were going to sleep she opened her eyes again to find herself in the same street as before but this time she was different and she had a weapon with her as well. Looking up she heard a voice tell her she was bound for greater things and to live amongst the humans til her time came. Having no problems with being allowed to live and have some more fun she took the offer swiftly and hasn't looked back since. Edited February 28, 2011 by Knuckles' Girl
Ol' Fighter
Name: Onidus Zok Age: Onidus died originally on the day of his 21st birthday, but has been living as a Shikabane for 11 years now making him just about 32 years old in total. Race: Shikabane Human Appearence: Second Form Appearence: Personality: Onidus is as his Shikabane is. A calculating and power mongering wolf. He thinks a thousand steps ahead before he makes a single decision. He desires power and thinks of himself as a singularity. His gentle and calm demeanor hides his truly horrifying aspirations. Though the one little thing that has allowed him to keep his humanity is his utter hatred for those who kill for absolute no reason but to kill. It may be a bit of a contradiction, but this one thing is what keeps him going. Aiming towards a sense of mental omnipotence that will make this obsolete in his own little word. If he kills... he kills for a reason. Curse: So calm was Onidus as he breathed his last breath that it mocked death as if it didn't exist. His sinister cunning, yet calm demeanor was what forged his deep bond with his Shikabane. This dangerous pride and sharp mind has been molded into something terrifying that gives him the ability to take on the form of an 8 foot tall werewolf-like creature with eyes that scare Death itself. Though he has no fear of true death he does harbor a deep fear for being confined or controlled. Weapons: Only while in his second form does he bare a weapon, but this weapon is himself. Powers: While he was human, Onidus had a handle on manipulating people's actions with his clever tongue and seemingly harmless demeanor. This strength has manifested into quite the ability since his death because he can now greatly influence another being's emotions. History: Onidus Zok was born into a family of great wealth bought by blood. He had everything that a young child could possibly want, but he always wanted more. He felt like there was always something else he could obtain. This though became ever stronger as he grew older and began to walk in the shoes of his father who was a hired assassin. Each time time he killed someone he watched carefully as they clung to life. The scuffle of dying intrigued him and empowered him giving him a deep sense of pride. It wasn't until his 21st birthday that he realized just how powerful this pride was as well as perilous. A rival section of assassins one fateful day entered his families estate mercilessly murdering every living soul within. Onidus was enjoying a rather intimate moment with his wife-to-be at the time and was completly oblivious to the hands of death that were about to embrace him. 3 of the assassins entered the double doors of his bedroom each with silenced pistols pointed directly at him. Onidus embraced the moment and laughed as one of the assassins shot his wife in the head covering his face and chest with her blood. Mr. Zok. You laugh at the face of death and it will laugh back. One of the men said as he fired 5 shots into Onidus. Each one covered in a lethal toxin. Unable to move due to the location of each bullet as well as in excruciating pain due to the toxin they began to torture him relentlessly. A weaker man would of died off within the first hour, but Onidus kept a smile as the blood flowed from him. On the 5th day the assassins were horrified at the fact that he was still alive after withstanding death sentence after death sentence. A demon should be put down like a demon is what one man thought. So upon this 5th day at 12:00 midnight, the 3 men put 6 swords through Onidus centered around his heart, but just deep enough for a slow painful death. 10 hours later as they returned to check on his corpse they were instead met with the door slamming behind them violently. The steel door looked as if it had been slashed with giant claws as they looked upon it. This shook the men to their core as they looked around the empty room still fresh with the smell of blood, but they also picked up another scent that they knew all too well. Death. The smell of decay was overwhelming even to these seasoned killers as they fell to the floor gasping for air. Then suddely one of them began to scream uncontrollably as if absolutly terrified. The other two began to feel an urge to run for their lives as they moved towards the door, but instead they were met with a figure that literally scared one of them to death. A large creature with deadly eyes now stared them down and began to walk closer to them. Each step closer taking their breaths away until the creature stood right before them. The two men could do nothing. Petrified by fear they stared into this creatures eyes. It laughed a seemigly human laugh as its claws ripped one of them in half. The other man reached for his gun, but as he raised his arm up it wasn't there, but on the now blood splattered floor. He wished to take his own life over looking upon this evil creature. "You can't possibly comprehend what I am about to do to you..." Onidus said with a sick laughter. The man then pleaded for his life. He flailed on the ground praying for this creature's mercy. Onidus stared at the man. His monstrous form reverting now under a cloud of darkness. Something then happened to Onidus. Seeing this man... this single man who had tortured him beyond words now begging for mercy and utterly helpless. What a great surprise it was to the man as Onidus walked away. "I took something from you that you will eventually get back. Especially after this. I cling to this now and I thank you." Onidus said with a sad expression. The man could do nothing, but lay on the ground crying. He felt as he had indeed been stripped of something. Something deep and meaningful. "My... humanity. What in the gods name...." he whispered. Lilt
Name: Kawabata Maiko (Birth Name) Ren (Deceased name) Age: 15 at time of Death. Six years a Shikabane. Race: Shikabane Human Appearance: As a human, Maiko loved her hair because he said it was beautiful. She started braiding it because it pleased him. She still keeps this look, outside of battle. Hoping he will notice. Sometimes though, with her control over her hair, she changes the style or color on a whim. Second Form Appearance: In her second form, Ren's hair becomes much shorter unless she concentrates on making it longer. Her left eye glows like the moon from where it was touched that night she died. She has no control over it though and can't make it stop glowing. Her visible eye becames a shade darker as well. In both forms Ren dresses lightly, but it's not unusual for her to not dress at all in her second form, using her hair to cover her shame. Personality: As a human girl, Maiko was shy. And not needing anyone else thanks to Chandrakant, she became even more withdrawn. Now, with becoming a Shikabane and Chandrakant becoming more distant, Ren tries to speak out more and actively pursues her goals or opponents. She doesn't try to run or hide anymore, regretting the way of life that she died from. She is always hoping that Chandrakant will notice her once again. Weapons: Two Kusarigami that Ren usually enhances with her 'Curse'. She usually extends the reach of the chains with the help of her hair or the roses. Or, if possible, she'll throw them out of a puddle to surprise an enemy. Powers: Ren's curse involves what she lost before she died. Her hair. Not only can she grow it out or make it change color at will, but she can also use it to grab or to attack or even to defend herself. Also, if she cuts off some of her hair and leaves it somewhere, it can make a useful trap. Grabbing an enemy that walks by. History: It was a full moon that she first met him. She should have been scared, but she wasn't. He appeared at her window and she opened it up for him. He wore a mask and unusual clothes but Maiko was too enamored with him to ask why he dressed the way he did. He led her away from her house and danced with her in the moonlight. It seemed like they danced for years. When Maiko fell asleep, he brought her home and when she woke up he was gone. This happened until she was 15. Maiko told no one about it since no one would believe her. Soon, she started calling him 'Chandrakant', not knowing his real name. Then, without warning, he stopped showing up. One month after he was supposed to show up, Maiko waited for him patiently but fell asleep. She awoke to screaming. She thought it was a nightmare but it was real. Before she could check on her family, a pounding noise came closer and closer to her door. Frightened, Maiko ran to her window which burst open and she passed out. When Maiko woke up, she was being held by her hair, hanging over a great height. Through tears, Maiko couldn't make out the figure. She almost got a good look, but the figure pressed on her eye. She cried out. Then Maiko started slipping as the figure cut away at her hair. With the last strands cut, Maiko fell to her death. Her strands of hair floating after her and landing on her lifeless face. She regretted that she would never be able to see under Chandrakant's mask or hear his words of praise anymore. Somehow, Chandrakant found her lifeless body. Because of her regret, Maiko was revived as a Shikabane. Chandrakant explained to her everything except how exactly she died. She soon knew all there was to know about Shikabane and Shikabane Royals and what she now was. Chandrakant now called her Ren and left her. They haven't danced since her death. Ren believes she was killed by a Shikabane and wants to get even. But more than that, she wants to end the fighting so she can dance with Chandrakant one last time and look at him without his mask. Inuyasha Fandom
Alrighty, we're just waiting for Lilt and KG to finish their sign-ups. Sign-ups are still open, and will remain open. Late comers are always welcome. But here is my own sign up. Name: Rayne Age: 705 Race: Angel Human Appearence: Rayne is slight of frame and short of stature, weighing in at only 90 lbs naked soaking wet and being only 5'0" tall. His skin is pale white and flawless. His hair is a shortly cropped dark red, shaved on the underside in a sort of bowl cut, though cut at a slant, being longer in the front than in the back. His eyes are a pretty hazel color, and seemingly filled with a sorrow and a kindness at the same time. When angered, regardless of if he shows it or not, his eyes change to a red color. He wears a simple black leather jacket with a A-shirt underneath. His leggings consist of black leather pants and a pair of leather combat boots. He has a dollar coin sized cross earring in his left ear, made from pure silver with a four karat diamond in the center. Around his neck he wears a leather studded dog collar. On top of his head he usually sports a pair of wrap around shades. Second Form Appearence: Rayne gains no increase in height or weight, nor a change in skin tone. His eyes change color, becoming red in hue. His red hair grows down to his knees and becomes black in color. Enormous black feathered wings sprout from his back as well. Personality: Subdued though always warm and smiling when not working, Rayne is by far a normally kind soul. He'd give the clothing off of his own back to help someone, though he's no fool either. Many claim he has the mercy of the Holy Mother, and the Grim Reaper's heart of stone. However, this changes quickly when he and his group find a target to destroy. His demeanor hardens, and he no longer remembers the meaning of the word 'compassion' in this state, as usually his targets deserve none. He's vicious and cold, with a quiet anger burning in his eyes. Weapons: Rayne weilds a massive magnum handgun, immbued with the ability to bless its ammunition with the power to harm celestial or abyssal beings. Rayne jokingly calls it 'The Gospel." Powers: Rayne is immune to the elements, and can absorb them when used as weapons against him to deal devastating counter attacks. HE has the ability to sense 'things' about people, as well as know whether they are human, demon, angel, or shikabane. He also has the uncanny ability to heal others, whether they be human or otherwise. History: Rayne was once human, so many years ago. However, even then, he had had his unique ability to heal, and no mortal understood it. He was revered as a healer, and welcomed in every villiage. But, like any mortal unsulllied by war and famine, he sought only to make the world a better place. He was blessed with the ability to see goodness where others could not, and light the way for them to follow. He was a powerful enemy to those who weilded powers beyond that of humans, and weilded his own abilities to protect the helpless, and those lost within the darkness he would aide to lead them to salvation. But someone like Rayne was also a prime target for foul creatures, and soon enough they attacked him while he was staying at a villiage. On his capture, he vowed to be allowed taken if the demons would spare the villiagers, and they agreed. But, they broke their promise, forcing him to watch as they slaughtered all of the women and children first, then the men, and then torture him. They laughed and screamed as they tore apart his flesh with the shredded remains of the villliagers, though grew angry when he refused to cry out. Rayne had already been sullied from his purity, and in his final hours, he stood bravely, goading them and laughing in their faces because he wouldn't utter the scream they so longed to hear. Finally, they just killed him outright, to lie along side the villagers trapped in the mortal realm. However, this was not to be the case for Rayne, as a force of otherworldly mercenaries came into the villiage, freeing them all. However, Rayne would not be roused from his anger and drive, and he was allowed to stay on Earth to besow his vengeance on those who had taken his life. Rayne fought from then on against those whom had killed him, taking them out one by one, his lust for vengeance sated with each he killed. Then the time came and he delivered the final blow to the demon who had struck him down, uttering loudly how fun it was to do the same to the demon as what had been done to him. The screams of the demon were the sweetest sounds Rayne had ever heard. His vengeance sated, Rayne departed into the afterlife, becoming an angel who fought against the hoardes of demons. However with the passing centuries he grew tired of taking orders and not helping those who truely needed it, as the war between heaven and hell often spilled into the Mortal realm, and countless innocent humans would be injured or worse. Then, came the final straw when Rayne was ordered to killl several demons whom Rayne had witnessed trying to protect the humans from the battle. Rayne then turned on his superiors, and then revealing he would do no harm to those who would fight for the one reason that any battle should be fought; to protect something. Forcing his superiors back, Rayne and the demons fled, with the humans in tow. Later, they erased the human's memories of what had occured, Rayne and the demons then leaving to join up with other angels, demons, and shikabane who had decided to follow the same path as Rayne. Now, Rayne has a purpose, and beleives what he does is right. However, the centuries of fighting are often tiresome, the battle never ending. But, as such, Rayne will fight, knowing he fights for the protection of the future... and the lives of the innocent.
