CaNz Posted July 3, 2011 Share Posted July 3, 2011 (edited) I am not exactly sure how this tournament is scored, but I think at the end if there is a tie, it will go to whoever had the biggest blowouts in there victories. ( I think Morbo will probably have all of us beat just with those first few rounds) so really you better hope he either loses twice before you fight him, or you will need to win. Of course this is all speculation, I just figured there was a reason for keeping track of the remaining pokemon. Lawliet Posted July 3, 2011 Share Posted July 3, 2011 (edited) I have yet to completely crush an opponent, almost all my matches have been won because I end up using two or three of my pokes as death fodder to set up Kingdra for a sweep... usually it dies and then my secret weapon Starmie comes in, out speeds, and one shots whatever its up against :) Maybe I shouldn't be sacrificing my dudes... I was also lucky on top of that... which is the complete opposite of of what I have been in Vegas. I was wondering if Kei, or someone, was going to do this again. I feel like lots of people signed up but a lot of them pulled out,and I kinda feel like if registration for the second one started now that would give people tons of time to get their ducks in a row. I certainly don't wanna be counted out yet. Now if you can manage to beat him, I would dare to say that you will go undefeated... since he has such a great advantage over you. I mean by the it came to a 1v1 my Starmie vs your Slaking I knew I would win, but my Starmie is super frail. Though it has yet to actually get hit by any attacks if anything did out speed it it'd be toast. Also... your team is EV trained :( Anyways Morbo and I had our match. For whatever reason I was stressing about his Palkia. I just couldn't find a way to take out two Water/Dragon types with my team, I was really worried. Turns out he wasn't using a Palkia but a Dialga. So my whole game plan was ruined because I didn't go back and check what pokemon were on his team. I'm already looking into reworking my team using EV training now i know about it.
