Gaming Question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I am playing FFVIII. Its an old game, but its fun, and since its the first final fantasy game i have played, I really like it. But on the first disc, when Squall has to find the cave where he has to get the code to get into some important guys house. I have looked ALL OVER and can't find it. Does anybody know where to go after leaving the city???????? it would be of great help

It's on the horn of land NE of galbania. Just hire a car, and drive up there.

Now inside the cave in the first room you will come to a weapon, check that and you can get the pass code, you can leave then.

But you can stay and try to get the brothers GF, it's not that hard but if it is your first time i suggest buying all the extras from the guy who asks you for the pass code.

(Two thing about the topic. One - put the name of the game in the topic, it just makes it eaiser for people to see. Two - This post should be in the Final Fantasy forum, even though it is a Sony game, there is a specific forum for Final Fantasy related things. Plus more people will help you.)

[size=4][color=red]A little help for defeating the GF inside of the Tomb of the Unknown King; the Brothers...

1) Your first battle is with the GF Minotaur. Not very hard. You may have noticed that the first draw point you saw contained a new spell [b]FLOAT[/b]. Cast this on Minotaur. In order for him to heal himself, he must be in contact with the Earth, so this will prevent him from healing himself.

2) Your second battle is with Minotaur and his "big" brother, Sacred. Cast float on EVERYONE. On Sacred and Minotaur, they will be unable to heal themselves. On your party, you will be immune to Minotaurs ungodly powerful Mad Cow Special attack, since it is Earth-based.

Okay, this could be tough without a map reference, but I'll try:

First, buy a car in Deling City, then get on the road to where the front of the car is facing the city and the rear is above the train tracks. See the beach front? Drive their, then follow it up until it comes to a point and you will see a small building. That's the place.
The ID number is on a [b]Blue hilted sword[/b] which is about two screens inside of the tomb. In order to fight the brothers, you must...

1)Keep going right to prevent getting lost until you come to a "statue". This is Minotaur. Defeat him using the strategy I described in the earlier post. After defeating him, there will be a hidden save point: if you have the "Find" ability (or something like that)ability equipped, it will appear. Use it.

2)Keep going right. There are two switches you must set off to go further in. Once they have been set off, return to where you found the sword, then go into the center of the Tomb to find both Brothers. Defeat them using the strategy I described earlier.
For defeating them, you will receive the Sacred and Minotaur cards, which are very useful in winning Triple Triad games. I'll let you figure out how though ;)

ohh.. the tomb of the unknown king? all you have to do is walk in like 2 sreens forward, then look for a blue sword on the ground, it's sorta hard to get out, you have to think backwards and when you put in hte number, put it in backwards (don't ask okay, i just started a new game 'cuz i beat ffVIII and i am on disc two, so i just did that before the end of disc one)

[color=red][size=3]Actually, you're not putting it in backwards. First you enter the one's digit, then the ten's digit, then the hundred's digit (i think that's how it goes), so you're really just putting it in a little different than you normally would.[/color][/size]
