Raiha
The daughter, Of a forgotten woman, Has come down, To my room. The girl, Is staying with me, And enjoying herself, In my company. The child, That I want to, Protect so carefully, Rests in happiness. The peace, Floods through my being, In my body, In my mind. She is my sister.
mangagod
Relentless as the sea, Remorseless as death. In this world of complete darkness, It has no shadows to fear. The liveing cannot understand the benefits of death. The only comfort in death, Is that you will no longer have to worry of the things in life. Only one who can trueley understand the songs of the damned, Is the one who wails them. Death its self can only say. "Come with me and I shall end your suffering." Dagger
I watched her reach to grasp the glass of milk with shaking hands, and wondered if it hurt to wrap those claws around the cup. The woman wanted me to warm it up; I pressed the buttons twice. She was not satisfied, and said so in her normal broken words-- the languages must blur within her mind, one hard to tongue, the other faint with time. Tendons thinned by age and veins like rivers on a map, all coruscating blue. I hate the taste of lukewarm milk. I hate the thought of growing old and then drinking my fill. Raiha
Dance with me, Here and now, The music of your flute, In my ears. And with me, Singing the song, That we had almost forgotten, Heavy in day. Night with me, So very dark, Then becoming so very bright, The light from. Your eyes.
Dagger
It has not been very long since I thought I was in love. Such an arbitrary term-- who's to know its origin, or would dare infuse two words with what it means? No, I let this fade as love should not. Sonnets speak of beating hearts and other rushing things. Jesus painted love in glowing colors; perhaps he was just a verbal Thomas Kinkeade-- but my stock in him sank down too long ago and now lies dormant. Try resurrecting that.
Raiha
What work is. Work is that, Which we all must do, To achieve that which we desire, To have success. Sucess is earned by hard work In this game that we call life, Even though we don't know, What we're really trying to do. Work and play, To very different concepts. Work is not to be enjoyed, While play is something we love to do. If you like your job, It must not be called work but play, And when you are paid, Congratulations on your part. So now, We know that we all must work, To gain sucess, To enjoy our lives without playing.

Dagger
"Yet each man kills the thing he loves, By each let this be heard, Some do it with a bitter look, Some with a flattering word, The coward does it with a kiss, The brave man with a sword! Some kill their love when they are young, And some when they are old; Some strangle with the hands of lust, Some with the hands of gold: The kindest use a knife, because The dead so soon grow cold. Some love too little, some too long, Some sell, and others buy; Some do the deed with many tears, And some without a sigh: For each man kills the thing he loves, Yet each man does not die."
Raiha
I am the helpless, Drifting down, From the surface, To the darkness below. And I am alone, So very, Sad and depressed, That I won't ever. Come back to the, Top again, To see you, And your quiet face. Why did you go? Why come? When I couldn't, Even understand just why. RioLaskand
It's cold again I hate the cold it bites and it gnaws and it pulls all warmth You are never robbed of cold It isn't wrenched from your grasp only the heat, precious heat fleeting with the last drop of precious fluid I can feel it now slipping away I am drained of all and I wish it all back It's so cold... I want to be warm I want your touch I'm pulled dry of all Emotions are sapped Energy never was I can't move My body is that of a doll And I'm freezing without anybody or anything holding me up from the pit of icy hell I plummet deep freezing solid my heart lands with a dull thud my body shattered but my heart and soul stay alone in the abyss waiting for lighter fluid and a carefully dropped match... Thaylien
My touch glance-whispers over boards, I feel. A grain of life that once was, will be. Tools of metal shaping, moulding, sense stirs. Glass and fibers to polish at last, shape tones. A final touch to seal its life, I leave. It stands there now, my vision wrought real, in wood, in life, in mind it lasts. Real to all, but all unseen to me. (Copyright to me, Dominic Evans, Best Poets and Poems of 2003)
Raiha
You are draging me down, Into sweet oblivion, Far away, From all the loud places. And instead I am here, In your arms, So warm, And safe and quiet. It is so very calm, And your eyes, Draw me, Down into the darkness. So still and sweet, I could drown, With you, All cool and quiet.
RioLaskand
A single tear for three years one tear for all my fears peaks its way to the cusp from beauty, not pain everything that happened froze my face to a look of quiet sorrow it froze for two years life came in a girl doesn't it always? but simels became stone when she was gone She's gone away for good it seems I hope she sees someone new that makes her laugh for a person, not music will unlock my emotions music sits on the edge weighing the single tear as the final chords hit my ears take the blow my mind feels the blow and the dear becomes stone frozen by pain, enveloped by fear so close to the end so near to my heart but not enough never enough, till it comes and I will know when that someone comes not something but someone, my dear.... Raiha
I hold what you want, So very carefully, In my body, In my soul. Nobody will claim it, Nobody will want to, Ater they take a look, At what really lies within me. A tainted soul, So very tired, And very weak, From so many lies. But looking deeper, You can see something, Like a pinpoint of light, Resting inside. With the right person, And enough time, And a little water, It might bloom into something new. A starseed.
RioLaskand
I wish it weren't so far away my salvation won't come today I see those around me finding it in love abound me passing through me oblivious Envy cakes my face I am cut off from that lovely place the straggler outside the gates I want to come in I SCREAM and cry I want someone's life to connect with mine I have detached from everyone's soul I have lost feeling but not want for feeling And I would do anything to feel alive again to be acknowledged in my life by someone of mine and mine of someone's all I ask, all I hope all I want, someone's soul to find mine and see me never alone again They will never feel loneliness ever either for when I am there we will be happy and life will go on just as it always has
Dagger
serenity locked in sand, in photos of the endless coast so ivory and blue, or gold embracing hope cut diamond-sharp. sapphire would be drowned beside this jewel, a tiny candle lapped into the maw of flame. serenity locked in sand, in smooth-hipped hourglasses undulating down to dark. time falls and flows: the stream of grains is uniform as water. Raiha
There is a world, Where the girls, Are taller, Stronger. Wiser, And braver, Unafraid of you, And so very beautiful. They hold many things, In their hands, Like truth, Knowledge. Fear, And pain, But to find, Who they really are. Dagger
Broken into motion, the golden trails sink slowly down to darkness. No matter how calm the water grows they always waver. It's cold, with musky clouds, a sky swathed in violet gauze and the river looks like glass. Old glass, the kind that makes up wrinkled windowpanes. Gravity rippled them past the centuries to today, and my morning river is a mirror reflecting neon lights, softening them to jewel-like streaks of paint. Godelsensei
I'm sorry for not being able to care about your senselessness and childish tears that wash away any desire I had to stay here beside you. Raiha
You're about to fall, Be careful, The edge is closer than you think, Won't you catch me? I'm afraid of that, I could, Just fall to the ground with you, Instead of saving you. That's so very kind, EVen if, That's not quite what I had hoped, You could do for me. But our love is, So easily, Satisfied with what you have, To give to me.

Raiha
Here's a challenge, In response to your, Goddamn death threats, And mean looks. Evil eyes don't, Faze me at all, Cause I've seen, To much before. I'm not sorry, For making your man, Turn to watch, My body move. So get over, Your pitiful jealousy now, Cause I don't, Really give ****. That's your fault, For dismissing his ***, When all he, Did was watch. sahkiryce
Wow . . . there's something about that poem that I really like . . . it's simple, but I love simplicity . . . those are often the best poems right? Just very very nice because it's straight to the point ((and I could relate to it too =P)) ^_^ ~`*`~Weeping Sky~`*`~ So swiftly do I see it fall as the current cleanses every stream that flows from beds of irises, and gently does the wind drift near, singing boldly, but singing softly to lull a violent storm to sleep, when clouds are gray, when skies are dark. And softly do I hear the whispers Of a gentle, falling rain . . .
