Laughing out loud at Baby Kiwi ;) I remember that incident quite well...I was indeed laughing my butt off, even though you got hurt :p.

My worst injury? There's two.

One was when I was three I was at a friends house and we decided to use a three-step ladder to help us climb a tree. He did it first, so then I took my turn. The ladder collapsed and I fell on top of it...ripping open a HUGE gash in my leg. I still have a very large scar today.

The second one was when I was around that same age, and I was in an ice cream store. I was leaning back on chairs that were connected to the table, and for some DUMB reason, I let go...my head missed hitting the table, and instead hit the floor. I had to go to the hospital and get some major stitchage :)

I think my current bruise could be counted as an injury too...it's really big and every keeps asking me if I'm abused because of it -__- . I actually fell off of a chair (whoa...again! I just realized my connections with chairs and injuries  ) and LANDED on it...creating a HUGE bruise on my leg and on my butt.

Yep...nasty bruises I tell ya :p

I was riding on my bmx bike and I went off of my ram, and tried to do a front-flip (stupid me) I landed on the front of my face and I went on the ground before the bike did and the bike landed on me that hurt. Ouch I didn't go to the hospital though lol.

Well i have had a few injuries, not serious, but some painful.

1. Head split open - Hit a rock - 12 stitches
2. Head split open - Got throwen into a TV cabnit - 11 stitches
3. Left Ring Finger broken - Slammed in door - To young to remember
4. Left ring finger broken - Slammed in car door - To young
5. Left ring finger - Twisted round by my brother, He managed to push the bone through the growth plate and compleatly dement my finger - Had to have the finger twisted and tugged very hard, back into place. (Flash was there for the whole event, he can tell you)
6. Broken elbow - Swinging on tree, fell down, elbow behind back - Put in cast
7. Cut in leg - Knife throwen at me - 8 stitches
8. Cut in knee - Fell on a nail - 3 stitches

And there are probably a few more i can think of, but meh, why bother.

NOTE: 1, 2, 3, 5 & 7 were all caused by my older brother. Grrr....

Well, here goes(I have 3 stories)

1. The slicing the tips of my fingers off-- I was only 3, and it was near dinnertime. Mom had been cutting some onions and left the knife on the table. I picked the knife up, picked up a large wad of newspaper(My dad cuts paper w/ his newly sharpned knives and I was obsessed w/ being like Daddy), and tried to cut the newpaper. Well, being the bumbling 3 yr. old I was, I managed to totally slice the top of my index finger of my left hand off, and slice my thumb open. I had a big gauze thing on my fingers for a few months . . . (I don't go near knives anymore . . .)

2. The cracking my chin open-- I was 3 or 4 (those were bad years for accidents) and I had just gotten a new pair of sandals. They were way too big for me but I wanted to wear them anyway. I was running up to the front of my old house, and tripped. I ended up cracking my chin open and having to go to the hospitial. (same as the last story)

3. Sliding-- Somewhere in Oklahoma(the state I live in) there was a house. Yes, a house, and there was a big, giant hill beside it. A gravel hill mind you. Well, my sissy and I liked to ride our bikes down the hill. All in all, my bike fishtailed, I fell off and ended up sliding down the hill. All I remember is that I ended up bleeding from both my elbows and knees and it REALLY HURT. No stitches or anything though . . .

Ja ne!

You are all so unlucky. I've had scrapes, but never, ever been injured.

Some people have all the luck.

The worst I had was when I went skiing last year, and on the top of a mountain covered in a huge blizzard, I got off a gndola, and my skis were in my hand.

Then I slipped on ice, fell on my butt, and saw the first ski fall right in front of my hand (Whew...) ...

...and then saw the second one smash my middle finger, and probably nearly chopped it off, though I was wearing thick gloves, but the ski fell on the sharp side.

Now I just have a nasty internal scar that has elongated my right middle finger (So it wasn't cut off)

Still skiied down a 7km run after that though

Broke my leg during a PE lesson when I was 6 going on 7 years old. You know how you have the big bone and the little bone in your leg? Yea well somehow I managed to break the bigger of the two bones in a summat-or-other fracture just under my knee leaving the thiner weaker bone unscratched blah! Anyway, I was in plaster for 10 weeks and cause I was so small I had to have a zimmer-frame to get around with >_<

When I was about 6, I had a chiwowia(sp? Hell, I KNOW it's off) bit my lower lip, ripped it clean open. An inch in, to the errrrr......top of the lip. STRAIGHT open. Left a big ol' white scar. Six stitches. Case Closed.

When I was 7, I was playing on the jungle gym at my school, I swung around on one of the bars, and rammed my head on one of the poles. Lot's of blood. After a dentist visit, we realized that I had a HOLE in my gum(Right above the front teeth) that I could it the tip of my pinky finger in. 4 Stitches.

When I was 8, I was running on the slippery top bar of a jungle gym(Same one). I fell. The bar hit me straight between the legs. And yes, it still works. :cross:

When I was 8(again), I somehow managed to whack myself in the left temple with a Nine Iron. Blood all over my shirt, blahblahblah. A few cat-scans, 12 stitches, and a dramatic rant from my mom later, I was fine.

Two years ago, I got into a fight, in which my head was slammed into a brick wall. The scar on my lip was opened again, same way, same place. Needless to say, I threw the kid onto a parked car, and then dropped him back-first on a fire hydrant. He lived, just never looked at me again.

Last year, I sprained my hand on one of those ****** skitters. Also took a two inch chunk out of my right ring finger.

And I occasionally scrap the bottom of my arm raw with a letteropener.

*shrugs*

well the worst that has ever happened to me was when I was six I decided to cartwheel down a hill.

then a month or two ago I sprained my wrist playing voleyball.

but my brother has the worst luck, two years ago he jumped off a swing and broke his right arm then three days ago he ran into a tree while snowboarding and sprained his left shoulder.......
I bet you can guess who has to serve him hand and foot........

heh, very, very unlucky guy...

It seems to me that everyone seems to have a hill-related injury.

And so what does this teach us, kids?

And if we're on the subject of scars, some guy kicked a lump out of knee ina football (soccer) match, and I only noticed when I felt something trickling down my leg. I now have a scar there, but it's not huge, just a kinda small bulge with a faint line coming from the bottom of it...

Ah...

Unlucky. I feel very little pain, even physical, never mind thinking about pain. I got hit in the head with a box today, and I felt nothing, but it went really red (I have sensitive skin)

You don't mind me using that smilie, do you?
