I found some info on the net about a new Castlevania game, here, check it out:

"Castlevania: White Night Concerto is the name of the next game in the Castlevania series. This title will be landing in Japan on June 6th. A US date hasn't been announced yet.

This new title follows the story of Jeust Belmont trying to save his friends (Maxim Quicin and Liddy Erlanger) from Dracula. White Night Concerto will be very similar to Circle of the Moon in terms of gameplay. Except that it seems the DCC card system has been replaced with a new magic book system. Magic Books can be used to power up weapons. Some of the best news concerning this new game is that Ayami Kojima is returning to do the art for White Night Concerto. Kojima also did the art for Circle of the Moon, so players can expect this new title to at least look as great as CotM."

Castlevania: White Night Concerto seems to be an interesting game, with a nice name to it.Im glad to hear it is in work,I really love all the soundtracks in past game they play a big part in the game for me along with the gameplay engine which is pretty addictive to whip enemies to bosses.

Anyhoo I hope they make the game brighter than "CotM", and keeping up the good soundtracks in each upcoming game.:)

I am going to guess that you are talking about this game for GameCube, since there is already a Game Boy Advance version. I want to see if they can keep the fun from the old 2 dimensional games and turn it into a good 3 dimensional one. If you remember the Nintendo 64's 3D version, it did not go so well (as a castlevania game), but I have faith that Nintendo can make it a whole lot better for GCN.

It didn't, eh? Well since it said it was new, I say it is probably for GameCube. Game Boy Advance is mainly a portable SNES which is coming out with many remakes of the greatest games made by 2D Nintendo systems. Unless you know for sure that there was a previous Castlevania from SNES with the same name, I am going to stick with my answer.

Oh, I'm sorry. I did not mean to question your judgement. I did not catch that in the article. Okay, from now on I change my answer to Game Boy Advance. But why they would put two Castlevania games on Game Boy Advance and none on GameCube yet is beyond me.

It's been confimed that there is another Castlevania game coming out for the GBA. Konami was surprised that Circle of the Moon did so well, so they decided to make another one.
Were these games re-makes from the SNES versions? I really enjoyed those, and I would be surprised if they made brand new games even before releasing the remakes. I do not understand why Konami was surprised about the sales. My friend has the first GBA version, and from what I can tell, it is a really great game hands down. I hope to hear more of this game in the future, and I thank you for putting this topic up.

No, neither of the GBA games are remakes; they're both original games. I haven't heard anything about Konami releasing any remakes of past Castlevania games, either.
I've also heard that Circle of the Moon is a really great game.

The reason Konami was surprised that Circle of the Moon did so well, was because they pretty much just whipped it out; they didn't spend all that much time on it. They just wanted to release a Castlevania game for the GBA, and they weren't expecting it to do as well as it did... It's not like they were expecting it to be a total flop, or anything, but they weren't expecting it to be this popular, either.

Now tell me this, why in the hell would they make a 2d game for the gc? The GC can do so much more than a 2d game, and if they made a 2d game why would it be castlevania. Castlevania are short games because if they got to be to long they'd get extremely repetitive. Also, if you didn't know, that article that "Matt D." posted was from IGN Pocket.
