Guest Altron Gundam
dun....dun... time to play.... dun...dun TIME TO PLAY THE GAME!!!! Well anyway, wrestling may be fake, but the pain is real. That canvas is harder than it seems. Taking bumps must be right for every slam a pro-wrestler takes because it could have serious consequences. Rhyno and Benoit are both out w/ neck injuries because of landing wrong. While it is scripted, the wrestlers do put on a good show, and the normal fan should realize what sacrafices they make to perform year after year. They are on the road 350 days a year..I mean that's a huge sacrafice to make, along with the pains and groans of the road as well as putting on the best match possible. When ppl say its fake, that's not entirely true. Mick Foley being pushed off a 20 ft steel cage into an announce table is not fake. Chris Benoit executing his Swandive Headbutt into someone on a table is not fake. You can't fake it no matter how hard you try. Gravity is always there to make your impact hard. Anyway, they put on a good show, and the gimmicks are fine. Most pro-wrestlers have my respect, but just as the fans realize its a show not real. So my final message is to that iggy kid who posted this earlier.
Originally posted by iggy NWO is so gay i hate them all especially after they jacked the rock
Good, the NWO is doing there job well then. They are heels, its there job. So if you hate them, that's what the WWF is looking for. Get real...of course the Rock wasn't in that ambulance....they just staged that so he could go shoot his movie "The Scorpion King"...good lord... ~Stone Cold Steve Altron out

In the ambulance he got into rght away...the writing on the back was red, the one that go run over had blue writing. Guest Jabroni3:16
First, Altron, the Scorpion King was already filmed during his "indeffinate suspention" and if that were true then he wouldn't be schedualed in a match at Wrestlemania. Second, James, you now are taking my place when i said the new Zelda was "Kiddie", when people throw around the word "Fake" in the wrestling business, people get up tight, much like you and others did when i said all that stuff on that other subject. You said you don't watch wrestling but yet you are quick to judge it....

bah, it may be fake, but then it isn't called "sports entertainment" for nothing, heck, they even changed their name recently from WWF to WWFE, world wrestling federation entertainment, its purely there for our enjoyment, I don't give a rats azz whether its real or fake, its just entertaining :p
Frankie5 Angels
All I know is that hogans back and im watching it now because it reminds me of when I was younger.Hulka Mania is going to run wild again.Ooooh YEEeeah!
Charles
Okay, first of all, Altron is correct. The Rock is reshooting scenes from the Scorpion King movie. He will be back around the time of Wrestlemania. Next up, most people don't get uptight about wrestling being called "fake." We're just making counterpoints to the claim by saying that true pain and injuries are consequences of the squared circle. And..*Slaps Booker S* I'm pretty Sure that WWFE stands for World Wrestling Federation Enterprises. They've had the name ever since they made their stock available. The Wrestling Guru has spoken. *rings bell*

I love all the stuff they're doing right now, what they did to the rock was awesome, I hate the cock, he's nothing but show, and not too good a show either, he's had the same gimmicks for ages now, and it just gets irritating....
I read alot about he Scorpion King, way before the Mummy Returns was out Check out UpComingMovies.com, thats where i go to get my info. There it said "Filming: Production started on March 14th, 2001 in Los Angeles (with some filming also done in Yuma, AZ), and wrapped in late June, 2001." so that would lead one to expect that that was filmed during his "indeffinate suspention" I can see doing voice overs and promotional crap at this time, but there surely aren't filming anymore. For gods sake the movie is coming out in 2 months, there's no way in hell that they'd still be filming. If you'll noticed at the bottom, it says, "Page Created: 6/10/00" So it's been around a while, although at that time it was most likely still a rumor. Here's the URL to the page that talks about the movie, http://www.upcomingmovies.com/mummy3.html When it comes to movies, i DO know what i am talking about. I think it's really funny...and to this day, I still wonder why people get so into it.
DX? 0.o DX is a very stale gimmick... That and Chyna and the Road Dog are gone, X-Pac may be going to the nWo (most likely), and I doubt that Billy Gun would have the same amount of respect after "Chuck and Billy"... Nash is in the nWo right now, and HBK... Well, who knows what's going on with him. Tripe H is the only available member. Anyways, bringing back old cliques is a bad moves... The cliques ended for a reason, right? And that reason is because it got old and tiresome. I was tired of the nWo a long time ago... And I got tired of DX a long time ago as well... If they bring back DX, I'm going to start a petition to make sure they don't try and bring back the Horsemen. Alright, serious wrestling rant over and done... Bleh, James, I think a better way to say that would be "I take wrestling as seriously as James does the video game industry." :wigout:
Cibo
The WWF (world wrestling federation) is also losing a court battle with the WWF (World Wildlife Firm or something like that), so not sure how much longer the wrestling's wwf can use the initials wwf and might have to switch over to wwfe. Not to mention the release date would be pushed back a month at least. As for Buff Bagwel and Road Dogg, as well as a whole lot of other popular ones, they won't be returning, they are in the WWA (World Wrestling All-Stars), pretty sad, i was hope Road Dogg was still in the WWF.... Charles
Ha, I'm glad that Buff Bagwell isn't returning. That guy had one of the worst matches I've ever seen against Booker T and was released like a week later for being a disruptive force in the back. I mean, he had his mother call in and complain about traveling conditions and he even refused to sell a double team powerbomb from the Acolytes. He's one of the things that was wrong with WCW before it went under.
