Nerdsy
Okay, I'd just like to ask one thing. PLEASE don't reply just saying "Yeah, that looks like a good/bad team. I give it a so-and-so out of 10." I want rates for the individual Pokemon as well. And aboslutely none just saying "That's a good team, just raise it a bit more." Oh, and I thought I edited the actual topic name... This is a R/B/Y team, so rate it under those terms... Jolteon << Thunder Wave, Agility, Pin Missle, Thunderbolt >> Charizard << Flamethrower, Fire Spin, Slash, Earthquake >> Snorlax << Body Slam, Earthquake, Rest, Substitute >> Golem << Body Slam, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Explosion >> Alakazam << Psychic, Thunder Wave, Recover, Seismic Toss >> Starmie << Psychic, Thunderbolt, Recover, Surf >> ALTERNATE Venusaur << Body Slam, Rezor Leaf, Sleep Powder, Earthquake >>
Yukazi
Jolteon 7/10 Great attack ideas, but Jolteon is fast enough as it is already, so me, id replace Agility with something else... Charizard 8/10 Good moves, but i think a Flying or Ground move would help a little... Snorlax 9/10 You cant really beat those moves, the only thing i would change is Body Slam with something stronger... Golem 10/10 I cant really think of anything wrong Alakazam 9/10 All i can say is good job, but i would replace Seismic Toss with Fire Punch, since his Weakness is Bug types... Starmie 10/10 Cant really beat that set either... Good job N-Man EDIT: I didnt notice you said R/B/Y

He has Earthquake instead of Substitute... Bah, that's what comes from not playing since... forever. And if I replaced Seismic Toss on Alakazam... What would stop other psychics? The main reason I have it is because of Mewtwo... And could you suggest a raplacement for Agility? I've been trying to think of something better for a while now, since the only two Pokèmon that are faster, Jolteon wouldn't stand a chance against anyway... Yukazi
Headbutt or Hyper Beam would be a couple good chioces...as for Alakazam, i really dont know...Seismic Toss is a good move to have, but if your dealing with strong Pokemon, id have to say maybe Hyper Beam, its the only attack he knows/learns that would do a lot of damage
Fall
Jolteon 9/10 A nice range of moves, just replace Agility with Headbutt, or Rage. Charizard 9/10 Another nice range of moves, remove Slash, and replace it with a stronger move, like Thrash.... Snorlax 8/10 Alright, remove Substitute, and replace it with an attacking move. Golem 10/10 No problems here. Alakazam 9/10 Replace Sesimic Toss with another Psychic move. Starmie 9/10 Replace Psychic with with another water move, as he only knows Surf... Venusaur 10/10 Nice range, keep Earthquake until you have another strong move available. ---------- Good job Nerdsy! :) This is just my opinion, if you don't like it, by all means you don't have to follow it. Sephiroth
Jolteon << Thunder Wave, Agility, Pin Missle, Thunderbolt >> no need for agility, jolteon is fast enough as it is, swap it for something better like double team Charizard << Flamethrower, Fire Spin, Slash, Earthquake >> earthquake is good, keep it, flamethrower should be changed for fire blast, and also swap slash for hyper beam Snorlax << Body Slam, Earthquake, Rest, Substitute >> good snorlax, nice snorlax, lol Golem << Body Slam, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Explosion >> swap body slam for hyper beam, golem does a ton of damage with it, killing them in one hit even Alakazam << Psychic, Thunder Wave, Recover, Seismic Toss >> excellent alakazam, don't give him hyper beam, it wouldn't do much damage since his physical attack is weak Starmie << Psychic, Thunderbolt, Recover, Surf >> surf is good, should have been hydro pump though, no matter, still pretty good ALTERNATE Venusaur << Body Slam, Rezor Leaf, Sleep Powder, Earthquake >> ghah, you messed up your venusaur! exchange body slam for solar beam! also swap razor leaf for mega drain pretty good team, just need to make a few adjustments.... Guest Shift
Nice team... Jolteon << Thunder Wave, Agility, Pin Missle, Thunderbolt >>9/10 Charizard << Flamethrower, Fire Spin, Slash, Earthquake >>7/10 (you could do better than that!!! Snorlax << Body Slam, Earthquake, Rest, Substitute >>9/10 Golem << Body Slam, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Explosion >> 10/10 Alakazam << Psychic, Thunder Wave, Recover, Seismic Toss >>10/10 (you can never go wrong with Psychics now can you...in the red/yellow/blue) Starmie << Psychic, Thunderbolt, Recover, Surf >>8/10 That's what me think ..'course me don't know much!!!

Switch Agility for Headbutt or Rage. Charizard: 9/10. I would get rid of Fire Spin since its such a crap move that never hits. I would replace it with Fire Blast or Fly. (Yes, Fly. I like that move) Snorlax: 9/10. Replace Substitute with something else. It usually gets destoryed in one turn, and it takes up 1/4 of your HP, so it, in my opinion, serves no real purpose. Go for one of the elemental punches. Golem: 10/10. Looks good to me. Better than mine. Alakazam: 10/10. Don't mess with it. It's fine. Starmie: 10/10. That move set looks good to me. Venusaur: 7/10. Body Slam? Replace with Solarbeam and you'll be fine. Just my opinion. :ball:
vaporjolt
Jolteon Nice. If you don't mind being cheap, Double Team & Rest work well too. It also doesn't need Agility, but Jolteon's R/B/Y move selection is pretty limited anyway so it looks good. Charizard Sword's Dance over Fire Spin, and Hyper Beam over Slash! Hyper Beam is okay in R/B/Y. If you don't add Sword's Dance, I'd keep Slash, though. Snorlax <> Owns. Amnesia protects you from special attacks, and makes Ice Beam more powerful. You can sweep with Ice Beam & Earthquake, and Rest off any damage when needed. Aside from strong physical attacks, this Snorlax is pretty much invincible. Golem Good. Probably Substitute over BS, though, for protection against OHKO's like STABed Surfs or something. Alakazam Kind of risky without Reflect, but it looks good. Starmie Good. Just one question: is Earthquake on Venusaur legal? I forget.:toothy:

Jolteon(3/5) It works, but here's a better set. Jolteon's def. could use a little work so why not make the enemy miss while you destroy it with a T-Bolt. You don't need Agility because T-Wave automatically makes you faster. <> Charizard(1/5) Bad Charizard set. Limit fire moves to one, and put in Earthquake. <> That's the standard, go with it, otherwise you'll have rock types doing 4x damage on you. Snorlax(3/5) Nah. Go with the Fishlax set or the standard. Personally I'd go w/ the elem./physical combo set. <> Golem(5/5) Best set for Golem. Go for it. Kazam(5/5) Standard. Go for it. Starmie(4/5) Thunder Wave for Starmie. Not many mon are faster than Starmie, but some are. Tis' a pretty good team, just leave 'Saur out unless you want a slow starter. But a good starter would be Exeggutor. Anyway, its a pretty average team. The Pokemon induvidually get 18/30. So it needs some work. The team chemistry and type are 5 more points so total its 23/35. So basically its an ok team. Golem << Body Slam, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Explosion >> 10/10 this is good also!!!!! Alakazam << Psychic, Thunder Wave, Recover, Seismic Toss >> 8/10 sesmic toss for fire punch. thunder wave for thunder bolt Starmie << Psychic, Thunderbolt, Recover, Surf >> 9/10 hmm... psychic for hydro pump ALTERNATE Venusaur << Body Slam, Rezor Leaf, Sleep Powder, Earthquake >> 9/10 body slam for vine whip GREAT TEAM OTHER THAN THAT!!!!!!!!
