Anime How did the Saiyans gain their power

Every living thing contains ki (energy, basically) within it, and if you have the training then you can draw upon this ki in multiple ways, forming blasts, being able to fly etc. Saiyans simply have an immense potential to manipulate this ki into incredible power levels, and by training and fighting they increse this potential. That's where saiyans draw their power from...from within.

Although, Goku's Genki Dama draw upon the ki of ALL living things to create the attack....but this is an exception to the rule.

also when the moon is full...their power is multiplyed by 10..and if it is a full earth or so...their power is multiplied by 100..thats only if they have their tail...

[SIZE=4]Well let's see, okay evry living thing has Ki (like asar said, they gain there power from the living stuff kinda like the kanki-dama, only they gain the energy of the earth then they just gain the energy I guess. You know how sometimes when they gain there power the rocks fly up into the air, that is like they are getting the energy. That is atleast what I have read, who knos it could be wrong.[/SIZE]

well all of them get stronger every time they battel and train...its just that saiyans have a stronger power jump if they are healed or survived from a fatal injury

sorry for ya but all u said is wrong..except the "ki"...the energy comes from them...the most powerful energy is pure good..or pure evil..the energy realy comes from the food..its just how much energy that body can hold is their power...the genki dama is energy collected from the ki of other things..as we all know..

very well put, JLow!:lecture:but, i read in the comic of dragon ball that all people have the power to control KI. it is just that the way certian races use it, like sayians, make them more powerful.
the way i prove this is that, if you look at videl, she can fly, control her ki, and, lets face it, she could knock all of uss out in a second.:blackeye:. wether this is just an exception, of just plain wierd, it doesn't really matter.(i hope to god i'm right :angel: :eek: )

Yeah Coolkam007's right, its all in the creators will to be powerful and all. It would be kinda pointless if they were weak. That show would suck. Could you imagine it weak people running aroiund battling each other and they can't even just look at a table and break it.....WEAK!!!!!:laugh:
