And I dont know if Sephiroth's already stated this, but the monthly payment of playing Final Fantasy XI will be around £5 so about 5 or $6. So in the end we pay more to play the game, than to buy it. Charles Posted March 11, 2002 Share Posted March 11, 2002 Speaking of updateds, EGM said that Final Fantasy XI's world is called Vana D'iel. The cool part is that it has telecom options. Players can speak, tell and shout. "Speaking" is seen only by nearby players, "telling" messages a specific player from any distance, and "shouting" is seen by everyone in an area. Confusion, and on the subject of frame rate, I noticed it's quite slow in movement rate. Ok, and also, even though we want our otaku names, no doubt the Japanese have already taken them.
