Nico
:flaming: BUT SOME ENGLISH PARENTS ARE CAMPANGING TO BAN IT AND REPLACE IT WITH TOM AND JERRY!:flaming: Their arguement is that Tom and Jerry has more moral value, but all it is about is a Cat and Mouse blowing each other up with dynamite. DBZ DOES HAVE SENSE TO IT! It talks about how good is better than evil... has anyone else got more reasons? Ya see, my friends are REALLY REALLLYYY against it too, they're campanging as well..I need a good arguement :demon:

coolkam007
the topic for those who dont fallow is : Why dbz Shouldn't be banned and why it is indeed benificial although this topic is a little flimsy and could very well start into a lot of crap, i will close it and delete it if such happens Please keep your responces intelligent
Transtic Nerve
Well I changed the topic title.. please next time, if you are going to post a relatively meaningful topic, please make a meaningful title... Altron, i deleted your post... I almost closed it myself but I decided not to because I think it has some type of meaning... Cam I also edited parts of your post pretaining to Altrons... As far as DBZ goes... no it won't be canceled and replaced with Tom and Jerry... no matter how many bad parents whine about how terrible it is and the fact they suck as parents and can't raise their kids not to watch it...... the fact of the matter is DBZ brings in TONS of ratings... and with ratings comes money.. and thats all they care about... they don't care about stupid parents... they don't care about stupid children... unless they spend their money.... it's business... Thats how it works... so don't get your hair in knots, it's not going to happen.
Chaos
They'd also lose rating on other shows if they canned DBZ. Many people stick with CN for the sole purpose of DBZ (I'm one of 'em), and if you take away the main source of your viewers' fancy, then you lose. It's like placing someone in a room filled with oxygen, letting them just chill in there for a few minutes, and then completely sucking up the oxygen, leaving none for the person. Yes, it's a weird simile, but it gets the point across.
Fall
The reason why they're complaining could be because usually when you change the channel to watch DBZ, it's instantly fighting. As with Tom and Jerry, you usually just see these two running around after each other. My parents don't stay and see what the anime is like, it just as soon as they change over and see fighting, it's bad.
Guest Hikaru Ichijyo
The from my sources over at CN there are no plans to cancel dbz of the cartoon network and to replace it with Tom and Jerry. Even if they did cancel it, I really wouldn't care if it did, this series is very old to me, and I had it before many of you fans even new about it over here! So really in my opinion it wouldn't be a big loss, but cartoon network is not stupid enough to lose ratings so there is no need to worry about it! Gohan_1
What?!?!?!?!?!?!?! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!! As stated before, it's a good vs. evil type thing. Well, if they're compaigning against it, why don't we campaign for it? There are NO morals in Tom & Jerry. You've got to tell them that. As you said, it's a cat and a mouse trying to kill each other. bignatedawg
Tom and Jerry is allright, its just that if you've seen one episode, you've seen them all. At least DBZ has a plot...
Kei
DBZ replaced with T&J? That'll be the day. People would rally outside CNHQ and stage a protest. (j/k. That probably wouldn't happen, but it could). Anyways, like SuperSaiyan said, they'd lose their ratings quick and probably end up like Enron, without all the "cooking the books" legal disputes going on right now. They'd never replace DBZ with something like that, even though I did find T&J to be funny at times. Moral values in T&J, tch, where'd someone come up with a dumb idea like that? Ryan
One question... Why would Cartoon Network ever replace Dragonballz with Tom and Jerry when DragonballZ is the most watched cartoon on that network??? If parents are complaining so what. I doubt Cartoon Network would change it. What else is good that shows on Cartoon Network anyway? Yeah, Like CN would stop getting all of that money just so parents would get their way.
Guest Saiyangohan2002
no, i think it is a realistic and probable idea, and thats why DBZ fans should rally against it. CN, apart from toonami is a bunch of old shows from the 70's and 80's like smurfs and popeye, and scooby doo, which has underlying hints of drug abuse (pm me and ill tell u them) to the point. if 90% of their shows are old on their 1000th run, or just stupid like Captain Planet. what would stop them from saiying the parents were right? and well cancell it now? are we on the endangered species list?
eleanor
yeah, of course they'll take dbz down fomr televion. hahaha! don't get all worked up now! just hink about it. a lot of people watch dragonball z, and with high ratings, they get money. Sorry to say, but they don't give a crap about the audience. All they want is for us to become little addicts to dbz and telelvion. Hey, it's buisness! they don't care if some stupid bunch of parents wanna replace it with tom and jerry. I watch dbz from toonami, and toonami hosts action anime. The parents are probably reabelling about the action, thinking that it's too violent or something. :demon: heehee, well, yeah it does have violence in it, but so does the other shows on toonami. it just makes me laugh. how stupid can people really be? pretty stupid is my answer. that would mean parents would just try to take toonami out, and that is NOT going to happen. i could bet my life on it. And ayways, tom and jerry? moral stuff in tom and jerry? ~starts laughing head off~ anyways, tom and jerry isn't anime, and cn is not gonna take down one of its most popular shows on the channel. and to put it bluntly, these people don't care. all they want is money. yes, thats right all you little kiddies, and if you haven't figured that out by now...well....thats kinda sad. HypnotizedGohan
i know one thing bart simpson would be happy because he loves the Itchy and Scratchy show, because it is the same concept. But still i sed it before it would be insane to replace dbz with Tom and Jerry!! some parents are knuckleheads.
