Yes, I can understand why one may have trouble with that stage, since my friend is stuck on it as well. I have heard, however, that Mewtwo was a good character to fight as. Try using strong attacks and keep moving, and with a tad bit of luck, you just may beat the event match. Another good strategy is to try to stay in for a long time. Eventually, one of the Pichus will kill itself. I hope this may be of some help to you. If not, save up your money to buy a strategy guide, which may help you even more so.

Very true, Kuja. I do not use strategy guides for that purpose, but I was merely stating this option as a last resort. Whether he wants to buy one or not is up to him. And yes, heh, running like mad may work as well.

It's just one of those levels, where you have to bust your ___ every time you try and get past it. It's really hard, I admit, one of the levels I was stuck on for the longest time in history.... :)

Just like you guys, I am against strat guides as well, but I will admit it, I used a guide for Majoras Mask, this is understandable though and im sure you can all agree right?

as for the pichus, i guess its just one of those levels that you keep trying on, and after 500 times youll luckily win.

Im also having trouble with the ness level where you have to beat metroid, kirby, fox, c falcon and falco, c falcon and falco are the ones i need help with.

these are the last 2 events i need to beat, not including 51.

I admire the fact that you dislike using strategy guides, but how can you say that when you have one yourself? True, all of my friends who own the game have guides for it, but a strategy guide is a strategy guide.

You are correct. It is very hard to beat the Pichus, and most of the time that you may beat it, luck is involved greatly. I'd say that you could win one in fifty, heh.

I'm going to have to agree completely with kuja's strategy, in that level. You must mad dash and kill everyone as fast as you can because of the time limit.

All I have to say is good luck.

Thanks, I have somthing else to add........In training mode, you have to get 11 hit combo to get a trophie, and a 21 hit combo for another tropie, and a total for all characters of 126 for one more.

the thing is i dont know how to pull combos, any tips?

YES! Thank you! I only have 10 trophies left to get, and I can't get anymore from the lottery, and I've beaten the game with all the characters on Classic, Adventure, and All-Star... So now I'm looking for hidden trophies...

Anyway, I'm not sure if it'll work, but you might try Fox's Blaster. It doesn't make them flinch, so you can just keep shooting them forever without worrying about KOing the CPU character, and it's really fast. Also, try cornering the CPU character against a wall and using Link's quick, light hits. That worked in the first Super Smash Bros.

Yes, I thought about that as well. Though it did work in the first Super Smash Bros., they might have changed the sequence in the second game, so it may not work the same way. Oh well, it wouldn't hurt to try.

Yes, I have beaten the blasted Pichus on #48 with ease actually! I used C. Falcon which I usually dont use, this is what I did. Well i used a forward B to damage the pikachu, and then once he go enough distance away for me to press B for Falcon Punch, I used it and he went soaring just enough that he had to jump his way back, while he was doing that, I went up to the Pichus who were damaged enough from the forward B and used B to smash them out of there with a double KO! I was going Crazy!

The only one left is #36 for me where you have to beat the 5 Characters with Ness. Falco is hell for me, I can get past the first 3 with 0%, then C Falcon hurts me to about 50-100 and once I kill him, Falco just immediately Nails me into oblivion.

Hey JcGoudy, Are you trying to find all the trophies by your self? I know a good place that tells you where to get all of them if you want it. Its is http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/gamecube/game/32502.html

I only use this place for trophies, it gives you a good way to beat Break the targets under 12 min total which gives you a trophie also.

Beat the 100 man melee for the male wire frame trophie, beat 15 min melee for the female wire frame, and kill 100 enemies in endless melee for another trophie i forget which one, and there is another one by defeating 5 enemies in cruel melee.

Ill try that combo thing with Link, afterall, he is my main man! Go Link!!!!!

I need to beat the 15 minute melee to get a trophy? I hate te 15 min. Melee. I was playing it and was down to 30 seconds and then i got hit of the platform and somehow a wire frame was in my way so I couldn't get to ledge. I got so mad when that happened. I had just spen over 14 minutes doing than when I could have been watching Simpsons. I thik I have 266 trophies, not to many left.

To beat the Pichu's pray you get a bat. If you do smash Pikacu until you send him far enough away or kill him then it the limited amount of time inbetween when pikachu can't get you, you smash the pichu's smash smash SMASH SMASH THEM TILL THERE SKULL CAVES IN!!!!!! (takes deep breath) repeat till you can knock them off a good distance then when they try to come back on if you time it just right then you should be able to hit them with the bat's smash attack and kill them. Cheap yes. But the d*mn computer is just getting what's comming to it. The cheap b*stard it is.

That one wasn't that hard. If you have Mewtwo, just stand near the edge and push the B button to charge your attack. Don't acctualy shoot the dark orb, but rather just stand there, the stupid computer will just keep hitting your charge while you just sit back and laugh.

YOu can also use DK's down B slap the the ground attack under the left or right platform, the same thing works for mewtwo also, but the female wire frames tend to stand on the platform and kick at you from above every 15 guys you kill so just up A them to get thme away from you. and if you see a capsule, bomb, warb star, pokeball, hammer, or anything else that could blow you off the stage, then move to the other edge, and if its a pokeball, try and grab it.

Yeah, I remember me and my brother doing the Multi-Man Melees. My brother did the 15-Minute Melee, using Donkey Kong, and by the end his thumb was sore from tapping the B button so much. He did it first try, but there were some close calls. Like one time, there was this Bomb Omb that we didn't see, and it started walking towards DK, and it exploded when the hand slap shockwaves hit it. It almost hit DK... but not quite. We would've been really pissed if it had knocked him off, because there was only a couple minutes left, at that point.

Yah, it took me about 3 times because I kept hitting things, lol.

Well, I still have to complete event 36 and then Ill be finished with everyone of them except 51 which will then be unlocked. After that, I have to complete All Star with some people and then collect all the trophies. And once I beat event 51 I get the level final destination.

Oh and heres another thing, there is this rumor that I have seen on a couple cheat sites that if you comlete adventure mode with peach without loosing onelife on easy, you get a classic mario bros 2 stage( not the same as the mushroom kingdom 2 thats already available.) is this true?

Ok, thanks for clearing that up, I just didnt want to waste my time trying to get it until I had proof.

Well, last night I beat event 36 finally! All I had to do was get through the first 3 with 10% damage, then i hopped around from platform to platform until an item dropped, then with a couple of warp stars and metroid spinner thingy, i got falco and captain falcon to a high percentage where i could just throw an item and hed go soaring off the stage. Much relief was felt when they floated off.

After that, it unlocked event 51 which includes Giant Giga bowser, Mewtwo, and ganondorf, I tried it with link and did a down A stab over and over, it was effective but not good enough to get all of them.

I have found out that you can use jigglypuffs rest(down b) right inside one of the characters,(you have to be very close tp them), it kills them in 1 to 2 shots, its great, but it takes time, so you may die a couple times but just keep trying and youll get it, im still trying also, lol. But I have to go to school now and learn a bunch of useless crap! Later

Yeah, the way that I did it was with Jigglypuff's Rest (Down+B) move... I've heard of people doing it with other characters, but I don't see how. Whenever you get close to them, Giga Bowser just smacks you away. The only way I know of doing it is to just get really lucky with Jigglypuff... It really helps if you can KO Giga Bowser all three times before you get KO'd.

A tip for beating it with Jigglypuff:
Jump up in the air and use Jigglypuff's Pound (Left/Right+B) move on Giga Bowser, and then Rest (Down+B). If you use Pound before using Rest, there's a higher chance that you'll KO Giga Bowser with one hit from Rest.
