Here's a stupid question:
In all the anime stories, the "fate" of the world seems to rest in the hands of kids. Why not adults. Is it cause they're too boring or 'cause the show is ment for kids?:whoops:

Not really is it that way! I have seen too many animes, and most of the time the people who end up saving the world are teenagers not kids. I think for the reason that most of time like in war animes teenagers are drafted into war. In other words they want to be somewhat acurate to who decides the fate of the world. Also in Japanese myth and culture usually the teenagers take over the parents responsibilites. Such as a son takes over a fathers dojo. So it really has to do with what goes on in japanese culture and life!

I agree. And also the majority of anime fans are teen agers, so the autors put teenagers as heroes so the fans can identify themself with their anime Heros.

Mainly cause the show is ment for kids. And whenver adults "save" the world, Wesley Snipes usually ends up gutting some one like a trout! (now there's a pretty picture!)

do you really think shows like evangelion would be better if the children were adults?

besides, comedy capers usually occur when teenagers are put into the picture....

actually it could be because teenagers don't have a lot of power to do stuff so when the have to save the world its harder because adults sometimes won't listen so it makes the whole show much more interesting and longer;)

I dunno the answer to your question. mabey the anime is supposed to be for a younger audience.
