Fall
In Pokemon Gold, Lance is the Pokemon League Champion. I've just been thinking, who is Lance. I mean, he turns up at that town where you catch the Red Garydos, and it's as if you know him as a close friend in the game..... How did he come to be in the game? I've never heard of him in R/B or Y.....
Kei
That's funny, because Lance is in all the Pokémon games. In R/B/Y, Lance is the last member of the Elite Four that you have to fight. He calls himself the Dragon Master. You know, the guy with the Dragonite? I guess he became the Leauge Champ since Gary became the leader of the Viridian City Gym. Char!
Yeah, in R/B/Y Lance is the last guy in the Elite Four before you face your rival. In G/S, he asks for your help in the Lake of Rage thing because he sees your mutual concern for what's going on. Then he kinda becomes your friend. By the way, beating him is easy if you have a strong ice Pokémon. But you probably already knew that.
Fall
The last member? Hmmm..... I'm going to have to go play my Red version again to see... I just can't remember him in those games. Is he in Crystal also? I haven't come across him yet as far as I know......
Char!
Well unless the creators took out the Lake of Rage adventure altogether in Crystal, then I believe Lance is gonna be there too.
Darkmoon
Lance was alot tuffer in the old games. His pokemon were at least at level 60. Now he has a whole bunch of dragonites that arent near as tuff as his old one! What happened? Why was the G/S games so much easer to beat the elite four than in the old ones? In the old ones you'd have to be at least up to level 50 to be able to compete, but now you can go in as L40! When I played the G/S games, I admite I liked it alote better, but I was expecting it to be harder to beat the elite four.

That's because after the Elite Four you have to go to Kanto. Anyone really noticed that Lance has a Dragonnite (sounds the same as "knight") and the word "lance" is a medieval weapon? By the way, in G/S, you get to meet Clair, who trained with Lance. And there's also that old lady in that house with the Dratini...

I haven't gotten that far yet, but when I do, I'm going to try and avoid him, just to see what happens.... :D I don't think you can continue without meeting him though, can you?

Char!
Yeah, one of the crappy things about the games is that youi aren't given much choice on doing anything. They make you talk with that guy if you wanna move on. They don't even let you see what would happen if you avoided him, or if you didn't retrieve the Farfetch'd in Ilex Forest, or if you try to skip past the entire Radio Tower thingy... G/S/B Master
it would be more harder if battled gary on G/S. and gary's pokemon is more powerful than ash's meaning that his pokemon is OVER LEVEL 80!!!! that would be cool and tougher.

Actually, you do battle Gary in G/S/C. He's the leader of the Viridian City Gym. He's really the only Kanto Gym Leader worth fighting. But it would be cool if instead of just Ash in Mt. Silver, it were Ash and Gary training together and you have to go two-on-one against them.
G/S/B Master
that would be unfair though. but how about a 2 on 2. gary and ash vs lance and me.

No, not really. If you think back, you fought two-on-one against Team Rocket in Yellow version. They would use three of their Pokémon against your six. It's not unfair.
G/S/B Master
but it would be a 12 on 6 impact!!! because gary has 6 and ash has 6.
