RPG Flash Vs. Warlock

[Flash]

Alright, this is it.. again. Only different. This time, Warlock and I will be assuming the roles of our characters in the Mega man universe, so this time instead of a whole lotta god-modding with immortal DBZ-type characters, it'll be the same thing with a couple'a Robots. :)

The setting is Reploid Hunter HQ, in the massive Holographic simulation training ground... The arena is subject to change, however, as the whole arena features many different places, from deserts to jungles... And if anyone can think up a good fight song, then we'll use that too.. :P

So, just to get things started, I'll just post a wee bit of Info about Flash so we can get to know him better.

Name: Flash

Model Number: DW-000

Height: 5'10"

Weapons: Flash Buster, 'Terra Fatalis' Beam Sabre.

Defense units: G-Shield 'Saviour'

History (If you know Mega man, you'll understand this.. I hope.): Flash was the Ultimate Proto-type robot. He was first 'designed' by Doctor Wily prior to the events of Mega Man 2. Flash was based very closely off of Mega man, being equipped with the same Armour, Weapons, everything. Wily, fustrated by the difficulty of upgrading such a robot to beyond the powers of Mega man (who will now be refered to as 'Rock'), gave up on Flash who was Code-named 'Giga man' for the time being. After the defeat of his 8 new robot masters (MM2) Wily became Lights Assistant again, fooling both Light and Rock into believing that 8 robots had turned evil, and needed the power devices that they had stolen to power the new 'Peace Keeping' Robot, Gamma... (Mega man 2..) Anyway, while he was in Light's lab, He found plans for new robots, and the old plans for Protoman (who will be refered to as 'Blues'). After MM2, Wily used these plans to upgrade his 'Giga man' plans. He activated Giga man prior to MM3, and he was only equipped with his 'Giga-Buster', which was effectively a Mark VI Proto-Buster (Blues' Buster). Giga man asked about his purpose, and Wily told him it was to destroy Rock.. But, because of the Mega man Programming Wily used for him, he disliked the idea of killing anyone... Wily was most displeased, telling him he was 'a failure, a stupid failure'. Giga man felt angered and rejected by this, but stayed loyal to Wily, as he was his creator.. Giga man Helped Wily alot around the lab, constantly helping him make improvements to his Robot masters. It was Giga man that helped Wily create the likes of Doc Robot and Dark man. Then, around the events of MM4, when Bass was being designed, Giga man had trained himself for combat, and even designed himself a Shield, similar to the Proto-Shield. His Buster was also upgraded to a Mark I F-Buster (Bass' 'prototype' buster), which he later upgraded to feature a Variable weapons grid like Megaman's, only his had alot more data storage, which allowed him to store weapons permanently... But Wily was not impressed. He was more worried about creating Bass... Giga man was angered, but he continued to help Wily... However, Wily refused to listen to Giga man's suggestions, and thus, Bass was built inferior to Rock. Wily was even more Infuriated when Bass turned on Wily, and became Rock's Happy-go-evil Ally. Wily began work on another robot.. This one beyond the power of any built before it... Giga man studied this robot, and even got a chance to test one of it's new weapons, a Beam sabre. For 3 years Wily worked on this Robot, and with each day he rejected Giga man more and more. Eventually, Giga man became fed up with this, and left. Over the next 4 years, He developed his fighting skills and upgraded his own systems, Weapons and all. After a long time alone, he found a large lab, belonging to none other than Dr. Light. At first he was met by 3 Busters, belonging to Bass, Rock and Blues.. But after a long disscussion, he was accepted, and his name was changed to Flash, because of his impressive speed. He became good friends with Protoman, as he felt they were two of the same... During this time he also fell in love (Robot love.. o_O) with Roll (Wouldn't you know it...). Anyway, he learnt alot from the Light bots, and became a much better fighter training with them. He also informed Light of the new Wily-bot, which he knew Wily had termed a 'Reploid'. Light was thankful for this information, and in turn helped Megaman design his own Support System for his Shield. (They based the Adaptors off of Rock's Rush adaptor, Bass' Treble adaptor, various robot masters, and alot of Light and Flash's own design..) Thus, Light began construction of X. A few years later, Flash left, much to the disapointment of Roll. He had a bad feeling about something.. He set up a base in an old station of one of the old Robot masters, and began upgrading himself once more... After a few years, he felt it... Something terrible was about to happen... He fat once travelled to Dr. Light's workshop, and told them of the message... Dr Light was forced to finish work on X early (which explains the capsules in the MMX series... He would have been built with them). He then rushed to Dr. Wily's lab, though he disliked the doctor, he felt it his duty to warn him of what he felt. Dr. Wily was angered by Flash's statement, and then questioned where he god his upgrades from. When he informed Dr. Wily of the Light bots, Wily called him a traitor, and attacked him with a large battle suit. Flash fled the scene, not wanting to hurt Wily.. Flash walked for a very long time, until he came to a place of tranquility, an ancient ruin, most likely of greek origin. He sat atop the high ruins, and watched the sun set for what could very well be the final time. Suddenly, Roll appeared next to him, obviously teleporting in from somewhere... Flash was happy to see her, yet he knew this may be their last time together... As they spent a romantic time watching the sunset, as the twilight was dwindling, something happened.. A huge explosion erupted from the horizon, and a firestorm sped towards them.. They fled inside the catacombs of the ruins, hoping to find shelter... They did.. When they emerged from the rubble, the entire valley was scorched, everything on fire and such. The events had destroyed most of the world... They tried to teleport back to Light's lab, but couldn't, seeing as the lab was destroyed, and the teleporters along with it. They were both saddened by this, but went on, over the horizon. They travelled together for many years, until one day, a mysterious robot confronted them... Roll suggested they approach him, and try to learn what was going on, but Flash knew it was none-other than Wily's creation, who could have very well caused the Cataclysm. Flash took out his own Sabre, and launched into Battle with the robot, who quickly responded with attacks of his own. The robot was outmatched by Flash, and left... But as he left, he attacked Roll with his Sabre, damaging her critically... Flash ran to Roll's aid, but she was already beyond repair, and shutdown in his arms. Flash greived her Death for many years, and swore revenge against the Mysterious Red Maverick... Flash foward to present day, Flash now operates in the Reploid hunters, but secretly awaits his chance to destroy Zero...

Warlock, I suggest you post a similar thing so we can begin this lil' spar... ;)

History: Warlock was Dr Light's last creation, even though he was started after the events of MM3... Warlock was a 'hobby' project of Dr Light's, which he worked on in his spare time... After the events of MM7, Dr Light also started work on MegaMan X, leaving the half-completed Warlock to lie and wait to be built... After a few years, Proto Man decided to activate what was done on Warlock so far, and Warlock's life began... Due to his lower torso and legs not being completed, he watched over the lab for a few years, watching as Dr Light and several robots went along with their work... Then, one fateful day, a green robot he had seen several times appeared, warning the good Docter of danger coming... Dr Light, who had only just sealed away X, rushed up to Warlock, and started to finish him off... However, just as his his first leg was attached, something smashed through the roof... This red robot started laying waste to the lab, and Warlock watched as Rock, Dr Light and several other robots were slain... Protoman, who had been away when this robot first appeared, teleported in... A battle between the two occured, and in the end Protoman, almost defeaten, grabbed Warlock and teleported out... They appeared at a mountain overlooking the lab, and watched as a giant generator by it's side was blown up by the red robot... The explosion which occured was gigantic, and Protoman yet again teleported out, returning back after the shockwave was gone... They looked out over the destruction, before deciding to find a safehaven... Warlock suggested another lab he had heard off, and Protoman teleported out with Warlock again... This time, they appeared in Russia, right at the entrance of Dr Cossack's lab... They met Dr Cossack, and he became intrigued with Warlock's design.... Finishing Warlock off, he also gave him an experimental beam sabre he had just made, including a few more upgrades... For a few weeks, both Protoman and Warlock trained at Dr Cossack's lab, until disaster struck... The red robot appeared again, laying waste to most of the lab... Both Warlock and Protoman teamed up on it, and just barely lost... Protoman yelled at Warlock to leave, saying that if he trained up, he could one day defeat the robot... Warlock teleported out, but came back almost straight after, realising his mistake to have Protoman sacrifice himself... When he appeared, everything was rubble, and Protoman and the red robot were gone... However, Warlock found Protoman's visor, and changing them into sunglasses, wore them... From the on, he continued to train... Fastforward to the present, Warlock now works with the Reploid Hunters, still looking for Protoman who he hopes to be still alive, and forever feeling hatred towards Zero...

In any case, I'mma bet for Flashy in this one. Afterall, he's......um........Flash. Oh, the Hell with it!

*Neil holds up a giant sign that says "GOOOOOO FLASHY!"*

*Blank suddenly appears, holding up a similar sign, but has "GOOOO LOCKY" scrolled on it.*

Blank: *sigh* A MegaMan fight......This should be good...

Neil: Yeap.

Blank: Hey Neil, did Flash write you into the Random Insanity thing?

Neil: Was he suppost to?

Blank: I dunno... I mean, he made that sprite and everything...

Neil: What's your point?

Blank: *blasts Neil*

[Flash]

[I]Flash cracks his knuckles, and stretches his arms... He concentrates on his right hand, and it forms into a buster... He reaches over his shoulder, grabbing his G-Shield.. He slings it onto his forearm, in battle position... He let his hand morph back into a buster, and then concentrated on his left arm, allowing the same to happen to it... Below his right wrist he feels his Beam Sabre, ready to be disconnected and used... He his ready...[/I]

[Warlock]

[I]Warlock looks around, making sure the area is deserted... He concentrates on his left hand, and it turns into a buster... With his right hand, grabs his beam sabre, and flicks it on, emmiting a light red glow... He is ready to fight...[/I]

[Sephiroth]

I know how both of these guys fight because I've battled both of them, heh heh, not in megaman fights though....

since your rooting for flash, I'll root for warlock! haha!

Well, if you guys really wanna root for us, I can't stop you... But don't spam, and DON'T detract from our fight. That means doing your own fights/subplots, whatever... And don't post too often! Boy, am I picky or what? :p

Flash: Well Warlock, looks like it's time for a well-deserved fight...

Warlock: Heh heh... May the best 'bot win..

[I]Flash leaps into the air, bringing his Beam sabre up over his head... Warlock holds his own sabre across his body, in a defensive stance.. Flash falls from the sky, slashing his Terra Fatalis into Warlock's own Cossack blade.. The two begin to fight it out, sabre against sabre... Sparks and flashes of light fly as the powerful lazer blades smash into each other, with dire force..[/I]

[Warlock]

[I]Warlock swiped his Cossack blade at Flash's feet, but he jumped, and countered with a slash to the head... Warlock brought his sabre up, blocking the beam... They continued countering each other, until both sabres locked with each other...[/I]

Flash: *trying to push forward* You're still just as good Warlock.

Warlock: *also trying to push forward* That... I am.

[I]Unbeknownst to Flash, Warlock had slipped his left hand off his Cossack Sabre, changed it into a buster, and aimed it at Flash from below... A shockwave erupted from it, sending Flash soaring back into a tree...[/I]

Dbzman, there's no point in been annoyed. Your post had to true relevence to the fight anyway... If I could have it my way, I'd make it so this topic could only be posted in by me and Flash...

Flash: Clever Warlock, but not Clever enough...

[I]Flash spins his Beam Sabre around his hand, and then charges at Warlock, quickly changing the weapon loaded in the Sabre to Atomic Fire... He slashes at Warlock, his super-hot lazer blade slicing through Warlock's own Cossack sabre, and creating a firestorm in its path... Warlock jumped back, and then, through the flames came Flash, charging towards Warlock, bringing his sabre down and around, crashing it into Warlock's own... Warlock ducked a swing, and Flash's sabre sliced through a tree behind him... As the tree fell down, Flash aimed his right arm at the tree, and quickly formed his buster, firing a single Metal blade at the tree, cutting it in half.. The two halfs fall on either side of Flash, who then spins around to face Warlock... He flicks his Terra Fatals Beam sabre back on, and then jumps into the air, sabre raised behind his head..[/I]

[Warlock]

[I]But as Flash brings down his Terra Fatals Beam, it only swipes through air... Flash spins around, trying to catch a glance of Warlock... Meanwhile, about 20 metres away, Warlock was jumping from rock to rock, esclating up a small hill overlooking the area... He stopped near the top, hid behind a large rock so Flash couldn't see him, and began to charge his buster...[/I]

Flash: Where are you!?

[I]Flash suddenly noticed the faint red light coming from the hill about 15 metres to his right, and was starting to run for cover when a large blast of light came down from above...[/I]

[Flash]

Flash: Not a.. chance!

[I]Flash grabs his G-Shield, and holds it up, the blast crashing into it, dispersing into the air around him... He spins around, smashing another Blast away as he turns... He attaches the Shield to his arm, in battle position, and charges towards Warlock... Warlock fires multiple buster shots, but they're all deflected by Flash's G-shield... Flash reaches the rock, and jumps above it, landing on it with a downwards punch, that shatters the rock like glass... He aims his G-Shield at Warlock, and it folds down and out, two large Buster Cannons protruding from the center of it... They begin to Charge, only inches away from Warlock's face...[/I]

[Warlock]

[i] With the busters only seconds away from firing, Warlock activates his trump card... Focusing on his custom active cloak, it quickly slides out of his back, making him several feet taller, and encasing all but his head by the almost impenetrable cloak... The Buster Cannons chose this moment to unleash a high concentration energy attack, which hit Warlock dead on... And was absorbed by the cloak... [/i]

Warlock: You have your G-Sheild, I have my cloak...

[i] Very quickly, the cloak folded back into his back, and Warlock flipped over Flash, his left hand turning into a buster, his right doing the same... Both locked onto Flash's head on the other side of the rock... [/i]

Warlock: I dare you to make a move...

[Flash]

[I]Flash thinks... He's been in this situation before, and realises the only way to get out of it... He quickly activates the Lightning Bolt weapon in his Buster, and jumps into the air... In mid jump, Flash points one finger into the sky, and a huge storm of Lightning rains down from the sky, in a wide radius... The bolts explode on impact with the ground, which sends out more sparks, which in turn begin to ignite the area... Warlock takes cover as the Lightning falls around him, and Flash begins to Charge his buster as he Dashes towards Warlock, sliding and jumping to avoid the Lightning storm... Once the storm resides, Warlock looks up, and sees Flash only metres away, aiming his Buster..[/I]

[Warlock]

[I]But, Warlock being the slippery one he is, teleports out just as the buster fires... Flash lands, and begins to dodge the lightning, frustrated... He looks up, and then sees Warlock's teleportation trail coming down a few miles away...[/I]

Flash: I hate when he does that...

[I]Flash concentrates, and also teleports...[/I]

[Flash]

[I]Flash and Warlock appear back in the middle of the forest, which is now on fire... As the inferno scorches in the trees around them, the two face each other, each charging their busters... Flash makes the first move, firing a charged Buster shot straight at Warlock, who counters by shooting his own piercing beam into the oncoming blast, which makes it shatter... Warlock turns to his right, and meets another of Flash's blasts, disperses it, and then turns to his left, but sees nothing... From Behind, a massive bolt of energy knocks him to the ground..[/I]

Flash: You're good with your Buster, Warlock.. But not good enough for me.

[Warlock]

Warlock: We'll... See about that...

[I]Warlock aims his buster at Flash, and fires about a dozen small energy balls, all of which spin towards Flash... He quickly gets his G-Shield, and puts it in front of his torso... A few metres from Flash, they change direction slightly, and he has to move his G-Sheild in front of his face... They all bombard on the shield, and Flash puts the shield back in it's ready-postion on his forearm... [/I]

Flash: You missed.

Warlock: I never miss Ninja Ned!

[I]Suddenly, Flash is sent flying forward thanks to some energy orbs fired by Warlock, who had fired them when Flash had his vision covered by his G-Shield... As Flash started to get up, Warlock charged up his buster, and fired...[/I]

[Flash]

Flash: One shot...

[I]Flash turns on his Pulse Shield, and holds the shield up to the blast... The shot is absorbed into it, and the shield then transforms, revealing the Buster cannons, each glowing a Light green... Flash fires them, the two beams combining, forming a massive concentrated beam, which ploughs through the air, making as huge boom as it breaks the sound barrier...[/I]

[Warlock]

[I]Warlock started to duck, but he wasn't fast enough... The beam plowed right into his torso, exploding on impact... Slowly, the dust settled, and Warlock lied there, a large chunk of his torso missing, and the rest of his body partly damaged...[/I]

Warlock: Got... To... Ge-- Repaire--..

[I]Warlock gave Flash one last look, and teleported out... He sent a message to the computer of the holographic simulation, and slowly the jungle faded out... Flash watched as corridors faded in around him... He noticed a window to his right, and walked over to it... He was on top of a skyrise... Elsewhere, Warlock fell into a room full of engineer robots... They flew at him, materials with them...[/I]

[Flash]

Flash: Skyrise? Looks like we're in the City now... But where is Warlock...

[I]Flash jumps through the window, and begins to plummet towards the ground... But as he falls, he activates the boosters in his feet, which slow him down, and eventually bring him to a complete stop... Hovering in the air, with no ground in sight, Flash activates the Dash Engines, which boost him up the height of the Skyrise, until he finally reaches the top, and steps onto it... He looks around, but his sensors can't pick up Warlock anywhere... [/I]

Flash: WARLOCK! WHERE ARE YOU!!

[I]Flash charges up his hand, without forming it into a Buster... After half a minute, he slams his fist into the ground, sending out a massive invisible shockwave, that breaks the glass on every floor of the high rise, one floor after another... The pulse hits the ground, and sends out a wave that shakes the ground around the city setting... A few cars and the like tumble over, and then the pulse fades out... Flash looks around, still waiting for Warlock to emerge..[/I]

[Warlock]

[I]Flash continues to wait, and doesn't notice the teleportion trail appearing from the sky behind him... Warlock's hand forms into a buster, and Flash spins around...[/I]

Flash: There you are...

Warlock: *Pulls out lightsaber* Indeed.

[I]Warlock quickly initiated his 'speed-boost', and everything slowed down... He ran forward, lightsaber in his ready position, and then leaped into the air... Flash, who was had just got out his sabre, wasn't able to keep up with Warlock's movements, and before to long, Warlock was coming down from above, his sabre pulled back...[/I]

[Flash]

Flash: D[u]a[/u]mn you!

[I]Flash aims his Buster, loaded with the Time Stopper, inches away from Warlock's torso... He clicks it into action, and huge bright light erupts from it... Flash opens his eyes, and everything around him is distorted... The distance swirls with a strange purple hue, and a mist of somesort seeps up from below... The sky is black, a void of everything... But a massive whirlpool in the center of the sky is the only thing there, a massive storm of lightning going on inside it... Flash doesn't know what it is, and he doesn't want to...[/I]

Flash: Never seen that before...

[I]For the moment, time is stopped, everything except for Flash.. This is the power of the Flash Stopper, Flash man's weapon... Flash checks his buster, and sees that the charge meter is dropping... He needs to get ready.. He runs behind Warlock, and readies his other buster, charging it to halfway... Then, as his Flash Stopper runs out, he fires the buster shot at Warlock's back...[/I]
