Tenx
why dues yamcha give up fighting it makes no sence:huh:
Justin
Because he is aware that no matter how much he trains he will never be able to compete with the rest of them any more. With the beginning of the Buu Saga we begin to see a shift in the DB storyline. A shift from focusing on the heros of Earth to focusing on the most powerful fighters in the universe. Yamcha, Tien, Krillen, Choutzu(sp? Dubbed names confuse me)and Piccolo all gradually begin fading in comparison to Gokou, Vejita, Goten, and Trunks. Having said all that, it really isn't surprising that Yamcha quit trying to be what he could not be. -Justin
The Merchant
theres is that and also yamcha almost dies in the fight with the androids, so he said he wasn´t gonna trow away his life fighting fightrs that where much more srtonger than him. Stitch
all i can say is u forgot a name justin whut a about gohan even though he gets absorbed or somthin (sry but i haven't seen the buu saga yet >_<) i dunno but yamcha i don't think was that confident in his skills but besides he did his part helped out the other fighters so i think he played his role out so toryman kinda figured yamcha was losing his character so he started fading him out of the series.:p
Charles
I dunno, I think that Piccolo remains a very important character in the series, unlike the others mentioned. Then again, most of that importance probably isn't on the battle field.
Justin
You can debate until you heart is content, but...that won't change the fact that Yamcha, Tien, Choutzu(?), Krillen, and even Piccoro all fade from the DB universe before the end of GT. I personally don't like it either, but that's years' past. -Justin

It was just after Goku arrived, he asked where Tien and Chaotzu where.

shibatku
Well Tien and Chiotsu come back later in DBZ. They are really just there and thats all. They don't do anything. In fact don't they die?

Charles
Just for the record, almost everyone dies when Buu destroys the Earth.
JCBaggee
Question! When was Yamcha trained by Master Roshi? I've noticed he's got the training outfit and the right Gi, but I'm assuming it happens towards the end of Dragon Ball. Am I right?
The Merchant
Yamcha trained with Roshi for the second world martial arts tournament, wich was after the red ribon army was destroyed. Also just before and douring this tournament Ten-shin-han(Tien) and chiatzu made their first apearence.
