Darkmoon Posted April 9, 2002 Share Posted April 9, 2002 A friend of mine did the masterball trick, succesfully... but then found out that her Hall Of Fame was Weirdly messed up o.0! For some odd reason she had a Cloyster level unknown (it had weird symboles) and a few Ponyta's with level's unknow, and a cuple of others. They're names were messed up with funny symboles too. And when she checked her pokedex, she didn't even have those pokemon! When that happened after a while she reset her game and everything was back to normal. Mistake, bug, glitch, whatever you want to call it. It's not actually meant to be in the game. That's why it'll screw up your game, sometimes, and that's also why they took it out of Yellow. Oh, and if you do catch missingno (I [i]really[/i] recommend that you don't), DO NOT transfer it to Pokémon Stadium 1 or 2. Char! Posted April 11, 2002 Share Posted April 11, 2002 Missingno will screw up your Hall of Fame; I found some hideous pictures in mine after using the infite items cheat several times. I found a Mew once in the Hall of Fame, too, which was pretty cool. And yeah, you can get Kangaskhan off of a Missingno., more specifically a Lv. 0 ^*`~M~`*^, or whatever those weird things are. The Unkown pokemon don't mean anything, they're more of a waste of time. They're just there for you to catch, and all you get after catching them is a different Pokedex mode, for printing them out. When you get there, make sure you have a Pokémon with Flash handy. You'll see two ways to take, top or bottom. Take the top, or if you need an Ultra Ball, take the bottom, get it, use an Escape Rope, and then take the top way. You can work your way to Lugia's Chamber from there. As for Unowns, they're just a sub-plot. They're not really there for anything. Just busy work. They're the Pokémon form of the alphabet.
