RPG The Legend of Zelda: Sword of Fate (Sign Up)

Men who's [b]hearts[/b] are filled with [b]black rage[/b] and immeasurable [b]greed[/b] are summoned to the [b]Black Forest[/b]. The [b]Black Forest[/b] is a place where dreams become reality. It lies [b]beyond time[/b] and at the very edge of [b]reality[/b]. Men with [b]weak hearts[/b] and [b]dark dreams[/b] desire the object which lays upon the [b]forest floor[/b].

That object, the sacred [b]Sword of Fate[/b], grants its posessor the ability to [b]live forever[/b]. Its sister artifact, the [b]Master Sword[/b], allows the posessor to travel through time. When [b]both[/b] swords are combined, their power rivals that of the mysterious [b]Triforce[/b], which is divided into [b]three[/b] seperate pieces and spread [b]across the land[/b].

The [b]battle[/b] which looms in a land beyond the [b]horizons of time[/b] threatens the stability and peace of [b]all[/b] the lands of the world. It is a battle which aims to [b]redraw[/b] the boundaries of the [b]Dark World[/b], a land which [b]mirrors[/b] reality. The [b]evil warlord[/b] who [b]dominates[/b] the [b]Dark World[/b] is feared by the common man. And while his [b]power[/b] is [b]great[/b], his reach does not extend to the [b]Black Forest[/b]. He faces [b]internal resistance[/b] to his ultimate goal; obtaining the [b]Sword of Fate[/b].

Those in the land of [b]Hyrule[/b] are unaware of this conflict. But it is a conflict which [b]threatens[/b] the very nature of [b]time[/b] itself.

And so begins our story of [b]courage[/b] and [b]triumph[/b]. But this time, the world's fate will not rest on a [b]single[/b] and [b]solitary[/b] figure. The fate of [b]all life[/b] will rest on a [b]group[/b] of individuals from [b]across the land[/b]. All have different [b]stories[/b] to tell. But all are [b]eternally linked[/b] by the world's [b]fate[/b]...[/color][/size][/font]

Also, let me say that this story takes place several years into the future (when Link is in his mid to late twenties). And thus, Zelda is also an adult -- she has become Queen of Hyrule.

I apologize for not filling in more of the blanks, but it would probably take me forever to go into the back story of how the world has changed since Majora's Mask...and so, I think I'll let that develop through the story. Those of you who are familiar with the Zelda series will be able to understand how the world may have realistically developed over time.

Anyway...I'll accept 6 to 8 people apart from myself. More than that is simply too much.

Also, you may choose to be Link or any other character from the series (bear in mind that being in the future...adult characters from MM or LttP will be "old" now).

If a few of you want to be Link...that is okay, as I will only choose one person for it. So try to make your character profiles good ;)

Other than that...there isn't much else to say I think. I'll take as many signups as possible...then I'll post as to who I've chosen...and the RPG will begin shortly after. :)

Weapon: Two - Handed sword

Spell 1: Warewolf (transforms into a warewolf for a limited time. This gives him advanced speed, stamina, and also heightened senses. He can sustain this for no longer than 5 minutes)

Spell 2: Summon Wolf (He summons upto 3 Wolves to attack enemies, or do recon work.... something of that nature. He can communicate perfectly with them. Once summoned, they stay by him until they die, or he sends them away)

Spell 3: Scorpion (His most deadly spell [which he hasn't learned yet, and won't for a very long time] he takes upon the characteristics of a Scorpion, only at human size. He acquires pincer, and a deadly tail, and 4 more legs. Once learned, he will only be able to sustain this for 3 minutes)

Name of Fairy (if you have one): He doesn't have a fairy, instead he has a Raven which takes on basically the same job as a fairy, because he can communicate with it.[/I]

Description-Blonde hair, long bangs running down the sides of his face, (kinda like sheiks except, more darker and shorter). Red eyes, (don't all shiekans have red eyes? I'm not sure..) muscle build, slightly less than Link's. Body suit like Shiek's but Black and ivory. He doesn't have a gossip stone eye on him.

OH man, the rest is gonna be hard to explain.
He has a black cap that looks likes Link's, and the part of the hat that is folded back, (you know at the top where it touches his head?) goes all the way down and covers his mouth and part of his nose. you see, it curves around his ears and covers his lower face and connected to the other side of the folded cloth. Then the rest of the cap looks likes Link's. ~whew~ I hope you understand that. THen he has soft black boots.

He doesn't show this unusual trade, but when in the water; he can swim faster than most, and hold his breath a long time. But, he still doesn?t posses the same skill in the water that the pureblooded Zora have. Lymous wears a Hylian breastplate, engraved with the ancient writings of the Hylians. It reads... [i]"Good luck and fortune will be bestowed upon the bearer of this sacred amour. The powers of the ancients will always be with you..."[/i] Lymous found this armour deep in the caves below Hyrule when he was a small boy. He also wears two shin guards and two arm guards, which he crafted himself from the metal of his fathers Armour.

But it is said that he is connected to Gannon.

He has always wanted to go out on his own, but he couldn't go by himself. When he reached 18, he heard of the news that threatens Hyrule, and is determined to help. Because of his long training with the weapon masters of Gerudo Valley he was completely ready and his trainer, Sheik, wished him good luck on his long battle ahead.

He is dressed like the female Gerudos, but with tough, hard leather armour, with patterns of red and dark red on it. He has red hair (as all Gerudos) and wears long dark red gloves and boots.
