It's titled "Quest for the Shard".

Quest for the Shard is based very loosely off of Dungeons and Dragons. To make everyone's life easier, I've done away with abilities and anything associated with them. One simply follows the given, simple profile.

This has been my pet project for a while. I've actualy made an EZBoard for it. However, it's not done yet. I just want to post it's story, and you can tell me what you think.

Oh...yes. This thing has several chapters. This is merely the storlyine for chapter one. The very origonal version of this RPG, "Race for the Shard", was very popular (14 pages of 25 posts each on a board with less then 20 members), and the Shard, ever since I introduced it to my stories, has been popular. So I'm hoping the most recent incarnation will work out.

Chapter One: the Three Cities

Alldark is a continant driven deep into myth and legend...and into corruption. There are twenty or so major City-States that rule over the vast, frozen place.
Amidst the chaos and corruption exists an allaince of three City-States: Kokushiba, Ryuuni, and Hyakashu, which exist on the eastern coast of Alldark. They live in relitive peace, aiding each other and thier three wise Kings governing justly.
Then, two days ago, the King of Ryuuni, Abkur-no-Shatur, was murdered. The assasin was chased to the rooftops of Ryuuni's grand palace, but the assasin then leaped to his own death. There is no evidance to suggest who was behind this scheme.
But now, the people of Ryuuni have begun to point fingers at Kokushiba and Hyakashu. And when fingers start pointing, others point back.
You are a traveler, citizen, or adventurer that has found thier way thrust into these conflicts. And now, you seek to unravel it's mysteries.
But there lies something beneath this all, a force, an artifact, which's power has just set into motion a crisis which may inadvertantly destroy all of Aria...
The Shard.
