Fall
Now this is what I call a good game! It's just come out in a video store here in town, and I was lucky enough to come in at the right time, just to see that it wasn't hired out. So I hired it out. :D I just wanted to know if anyone thinks this game is one of the best games out for the PSOne.... I think it is, 1)For the graphics it supports, and 2)The challenge of it..... Also I'm having trouble on...... the.... 2nd level... :toothy: Actually, it's rather to do with the whole game. I can't seem to find all the characters I have to rescue in the 1st and 2nd levels (I'm only up to the 2nd level)..... Do I have to go through and complete more of the game, or do something, or is that just how hard the game is? Thanks for any help... :)
Treble
I happen to think Megaman X6 is one of the top best game on PSX, mainly for its gameplay engine.:) Although the game is fun and all, I hope Capcom would put much more effort into the future titles like improving X's appearance, more replay value, etc. or else I think X Series can get a little to repetative for gamers. Now onto your trouble with the game, I suggest that you beat all the eight bosses first throughout the game, its an optional choice for you so that you can pick whoever stage you want to go first. After you have beated all eight bosses, you could come back to the stages and rescue the characters you need to and collect the blue orbs from the flying soul enemies to recieve an higher rank to equip better armors for X. Guest Morph
MMX6 is a great game, I want to get it, and play it, like Treble said, it can be repetitive and some gamers dont like games that are practically the same, but its not for this game.... The MM games made it out here...and it wouldn't cost you a great deal to import (much cheaper than from the US) ...and plus, it would be PAL. So it'd be compatible with your system. :)

Is it like megaman legends????:therock:
The graphics are side scrolling, two dimensional thumb blisters, like the majority of Mega Man games. Think back to the days of Super Nintendo or its predecessors on the PSX, itself. All in all, I feel that the colors were a little drab though. :p So, no, don't expect anything like MegaMan Legends. Fall
I personally didn't like the Megaman: Lagends game.... it got to me that it was a tad bit boring.... Though yes, I think the colours in this game I'm talking about were a bit off, they couldv'e put a bit more effort into it (keyword there: bit)

ZeroBlade
The Megaman X series in completely different from Megaman Legends. It is the best 2D action games ever made! I really think they should make an anime of this game since this game started having animated shots on the PSX and the cool story line(s)! I never was a fan of the regular Megaman games but ever since they Capcom came out with the X series the SNES, I got hooked. Since then, I now know EVERYTHING about the series and bent on perfecting my playing style. I hope they don't change this game into a 3D game cause I think they'll kill it if they do. I like X6 somewhat, in that I like the difficulty, first X game that actually kicked my ***** in years. However, its controls are flawed - they cross with each other when you play as "the Resrrected Hunter". I lost count on how many times I died with him because of the controls! I really hope they come out with an X7 soon for any system (just as long as they have a PSX/PS2 version). I'm really looking forward to Megaman Zero later this year on the GBA!:excited: Its a crime that you haven't played any X game yet Final_Flash, its truly a great series. RicoTranzrig
Flash, I'd send you my MMX 4 and 5 via FedEx because I don't play with them anymore and they're in good condition...but NTSC and PAL incompatability...j/k By far, MMX is my favorite megaman series. The first X I played, I got hooked. I have yet to play X6...but I hear there's nothing really innovative and new...just regular die-hard side-scrolling gameplay. I really hope for a MMX game to come out on PS2 in cel-shading 3D.

But FIRST I'd like them to bring some closure to the ORIGINAL series.. You know. The one that started it all, and made Capcom millions of dollars? :cross:

With all those spriters out there sending Capcom their creation of bosses who knows maybe Capcom will bring the bluebomber back.:)
