I know I know, it happened awhile ago, but my dad just found something out....

Terrorist pilot Mohammed Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners". However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands. The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, "insisted" that all prisoners be released. Thus Mohammed Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center.

This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified.

It was censored in the US from all later reports.

If you agree that the American public must be made aware of this fact, pass this on.

Atta was the leader in the attacks, if he was still in jail, it would of never happened, or it might of been a different outcome.

It's not Mr.Clinton's fault at all. He simply thought at the time that it would be best if they were freed. There is no possible way Clinton could have known Atta would fly a plane into the WTC. 9/11 was in no way his fault.

Do you really think it would have been different at all? They would have just replaced him. There were, and still are, plenty of Taliban members that would give their lives to kill in mass numbers like that.

There were many qualified people to lead that, I'm sure. All you have to do is have a hatred for Americans and people who sympathyse America.

Besides, if this Atta was of any importance to an opperation, he probably would have been busted out of Jail anyway... And if he was so important that they couldn't pull off the Trade Center attack without him, he most definately wouldn't have been rotting in some prison cell.

Well, Clinton knew that Mohammed was bad, but he INSISTED on having him released. Do you think that someone like that will turn good all of a sudden and just be a nice everyday person? Not really. He still had his evil entions. I don't know what your belifs are DBZChickGahn, but you must really like Clinton, from what you said. I particulary don't like the first president that was impeached. Not a very clean record, if you know what I mean. If Clinton hadn't released Mohammed in the first place, 4000 people and the WTC might still be here. And for that I hate Clinton. No offense to you Clinton lovers. Well, actually Nerdsy, I do see what you mean. They proably could've replaced him with someone else or if he was that important, he wouldn't have gotten captrued in the first place. I'm pretty sure it isn't that hard to find people in those countries who'd love to get themselves strapped to a bomb just to kill a couple of thousand Americans. It's insane, and I get scared thinking about it, all the wars going on over there. I started to think that the world was coming to an end...Oh, never mind, must've been some nightmare I had.

Clinton wasn't impeached... He almost was, if that's what you mean. And if you do mean that, Andrew Johnson (my uncle ^_^''') was almost impeached long before Clinton was even born...

Actually, clinton was impeached. That's what we all saw. He won his trial and therefore didn't have to step down.

You can't go blaming anyone or anything for something so tragic as that. Clinton(as much as I dislike him) is in no way responsible for the acts of terrorists. That would make the statement of this topic false. Thus...

Thread Locked.
