Anime * A Couple Buu Saga Questions *

The Buu saga has pretty much just started out over here, so expect me to be coming here once gaain regular with questions :D I only have 2 this time :).....


1st one is.....why was Vegeta, when he thought Gohan was dead, upset about it? He said "I'm sorry Gohan". He usually doesn't care. And then he was talking in his head to Goku saying that he might not be around when Goku wakes, but the Earth still will be and he'll stake his life on it. Why was he caring so much when he never really does?

2nd question is.....how was Buu doing that thing where he was changing into Goku when Buu & Vegeta first faced off? Buu had never even seen Goku before at that point

well, the answer to you first question is that Vegeta has changed alot, Towards the end of dragonball, he is more caring and considerate, it has been a graduall change from the old vegeta.
If you think thats weird, just wait untill...oh..you'll find out^_^

[color=indigo]Vegeta was being so kind and caring because he changed. Goku made him remember all those he cared about by yelling at him about Bulma and and stuff remember? That's when Vegeta became all self-sacrificing. He apologizes to Gohan and them for all the pain he has cause them. It's simply a realization made. Vegeta isn't [i]all[/i] evil ya know ;)

As for the second question, I think i might know the answer, but I'm 50% unsure so Ill wait to see if someone else knows it.[/color]

vegeta is actually the most caring person in Z n GT if u really think about it, he still cares 4 people under babidi's spell

I hope this helps, I went back and re watched all my current Dbz tapes, just to get Vegeta, I asked myself those same questions, and this is what I came up with, I am fairly confedent I am correct about my take on it, of course I have only seen the new ones,
#189-222,

Oddly enough I actually looked up the meaning of Atonement, which is basicly, the same as Jesus did for Christians,
according to what I read,

atonement n

1. the making of reparation for a sin or a mistake

2. atonement or Atonement in Christian belief, the reconciliation between God and people brought about by the death of Jesus Christ

he basically trying to do what Goku did, with Cell, Vegeta seems hard & uncaring, but he is not the same, anymore. He is just proud, He hated that Goku was better at everything then him, A hero. He wanted that to be his legacy Goku( in his eyes stole), to be the Man.!! All that built up resentment is what has boiled over.In his heart he knows the truth & it really ticks him off because so does Goku.

2nd one it wasn't Buu who changed it was Vegeta's mind playing tricks on him, He is so envious of Goku, that he had a hard time concentrating on the fight at hand.

Answer to question 1: Vegeta does actually care. The reason he was so pissed of with Goku was that Vegeta started to become soft, and he blamed Goku for this. He also started to accpet the fact that Goku would always be stronger than him, and this began to annoy him aswell. And since babidi couldn't control him, really all the majin did was increase his power.

Answer 2 question 2: The majin sign was making him hallucinate and making him see Goku, increasing his rage.

Yes, I too think that #2 was really Vegeta's mind playing tricks because he mentioned that he had to spend his entire time just to catch up with Goku's natrul talent, so Goku came into mind, icreasing his determination and giving up his life (If that was needed) to kill Buu. He's so cute!

LoL, buu is very VERY annoying with that voice. All the other bad guys had decent voices, especially Freiza's last form, but not this Buu guy

does Vegeta ever call Goku......Goku? I've only ever heard him call him Kakarott

Annoying? I thought it was pretty funny. And about your question...I'll have to look it up, I think he might have once. I know he called Gohan, "Gohan" instead of "the son of Kakkarot".

freiza's voice in his last form sounded way to femanin!(so what if i can't spell!) when i first started watching dbz freiza was on his last form and i literaly thought that he was a girl.

LoL @ me calling it "he" after i just said that. haha

Basically the reason he was seeing GOku was because of the symbol. I remember Vegeta saying something about stop trying to play mind tricks with me wizard and then he broke out of the hallucinaton. Well thats basicaly it or something like it.
