Do we have any punk rockers here? I am one of them. I like LTG(Less than Jake) FIF(Five Iron Frenzy) Gold Finger Operation Ivy Rancid NoFX H.I.M KORN Adema System of a Down The Rammones Good Charolate. So what do you all like. Punk Wise?

Korn, Adema, and System of a Down are not punk. Korn and Adema are a grunge, and System of a Down is a hard rock.

I guess you could call me punk if you will. I don't label myself as such. But if I were to put myself anywhere, that's where I'd belong. I can't wait til those little pop-punkers get in here and start claiming Blink 182 and Sum 41 to be punk... I like telling people off. It's fun, mwuaha :devil:

And just for some spelling corrections, LTJ would be Less than Jake, not LTG. lol. The Ramones only has one 'm' and it's Good Charlotte, lol.[/color]

I like System of a Down, and other people like that. I think Blink182 is cool, and so is linkin park. I would have to say that I love Punk rock. I would have to say that Drowning Pool is my favoritre "punk" band.

Linkin park is my favorite band out of ALL time. They are a really good band. I think that everyone should listen to 'em. There are other people such as Mushroomhead, and Kid Rock. Most are the ones I have listed. Mushroomhead is really good. So there are my favorties, and telling that I do like punk.

My best friend is really into rap music...another good friend is really into stuff like Drowning Pool(which is still cool)...and yet another is into Country. So, I'm kind of alone with my Sex Pistols... Other than that, I don't really listen to much Punk.

The [B]ONLY[/B] band you listed that was a punk band is Blink 182. Metal is how you would classify most of those other bands.
I like the Anti-heroes and the Aquabats,Anti-flag. But besides that I am in love with real music METAL!

Anyway... it's almost funny you bring up the Sex Pistols, because all of my other punk-type friends don't like them that much :confuse2: It might just be American pride with the Ramones, but if my statistics are correct, weren't the Sex Pistols around beofre the Ramones? Which would make them more credible. I met this one guy at a show not long ago who looked just like Sid Vicious :p It was funny. I kept calling him Sid instead of his real name. But ya, Sex Pistols are great. They seemed way to over-obssessed with anarchy though, lol.

Oooookay, I have to come back up my Munkie here: true punk does not consist of sell-outs. This would include the likes of current Blink 182, quite a bit of the Offspring's new stuff, Sum 41, and all the heavy-rotation songs on MTV. That's not punk, it's pop with punk packaging.

As for myself, I find I've been leaning more and more to stuff like Sugarcult and 8th Wave; the really catchy stuff. I like more of the left-coast punk scene too, maybe that's why. And hey, if any of y'all could shed some light on some decent mp3 sites I'd be grateful. MP3.com is way old, and I'm tired of getting viruses by going to all the unsecure music sites.
