This RPG is going to be a little different. First off you have to pick a different character(No Dart,Shana, etc.) But you don't have a dragoon spirit yet. Also this isn't going to be against some one like Lloyed again. You can choose your weapon.(No Guns! ) Well maybe, but they can't be power ful!

I'll post again for more details So Don't start Just YET!:shifty:

(Oh... My big mouth got me into this... :grumble: )

Darken was training in near Seles. His journey had taken him far, he once lived in a mountain village far behind Seles, until that day... The day monsters attacked his village without warning. That day was his birthday... They say it had to do some thing with "The Moon That Never Sets" coming down... Well, any way, he has tried to put it behind him... He started his break, when soldiers marched by. This didn't surprise him, it had been happening a lot lately...

Darken:What's going on....?

Some thing was different this time... The soldiers were almost running, as if being chased by some thing... Some thing BIG.

I hit the ground with immense force. My master had beaten me again. I kneeled and put my hand against the cut on my chest. I looked up at Master Yeroc with hateful eyes. I had never beat him before. I was impatient, I knew, but what good are emotions if you are forced to ignore them. My training was to surpress my emotions. "If one can clear their mind of emotions one shall attain the highest level of the Ukato." That is the first code of Ukato. I stood up and breathed heavily. My master waved his hand and my gash healed.
"Again!" he said. I raised my sword and tried to clear my mind of emotion. He flew at me, rapier raised. I dove out of the way. Standing up he caught my on my arm and pain seared my body. I lashed out blindly and struck Master Yeroc. He grunted and landed. He healed me and himself.
"You've improved."
"Thankyou Master. I was lucky Master..."
"One day you will rule this world. My power will, one day, be yours. You are still young and impulsive. You have much to learn but I see you plunging this land into eternal darkness. Come, son. Thats enough for today."
"Yes father." A ball of black light enveoped him and he was just my father again. He put the shining black stone into his pocket and walked to his room to change. I leaned against the nearest wall. How I wanted that stone. That stone was the source of my fathers power. The things I could do with that stone... But to get it...

Oh yes, some thing was chaseing them, but it wasn't a monster, not, at least, by what most people judge monster by. It was, unbelievely...

Darken:A DRAGON?! How the-?! I thought all dragon's were dead...

Unbelievible or not, it was a dragon; and it was mad, real mad. Darken didn't wait, he ran to Seles, he hoped it was safe there...

Darken:NO WAY!

Darken made it most of the way to Seles, when he ran into some the "army" he kept seeing all those days. They had stopped him and brought him to the highest ranking officer in the camp. "So," he had said to Darken, "you came from the area where the dragon was headed? You look strong..." After a while, he said, "Alright, you will help us kill the dragon..."

Officer:No way you say? What makes you think you have a choice?

Darken smirked. Then he freed himself from the guards holding him. With a flash of his katana, both guards were dead. The other guards got ready to attack.

Officer:Very well... We cannot have any more deaths. We don't have the men left!

The guards went back to how they were before.

Officer:May be we went about this the wrong way... We'll pay you with what ever we can if you help us. We must get back to our main camp, or we'll die out here...

Darken thought about his for awhile...

Darken:Alright... I'll help... But you better keep your side of the deal...

With that, they began planning how they were to kill the dragon and Darken's payment for helping them.

The torch in my hand lit the dark hallway as I creeped though it. I wanted that gem. I couldn't take it anymore. I stepped slowly into my fathers room. I dipped the torch into the fountain. The wooden stick floated in the water. My father stirred under the covers. He murmered something. I froze.
"Dragoon.... Rose....." He said. Rose was my mothers name. She had died in childbirth. He stirred again and turned on his stomach. I had heard stores from my father about how she was a great warrior. I slipped slowly over to the closet and opened the door. A bright purple light flashed on and then dissapeared. I reached into the pocket of my fathers robe. My hand grasped a smooth object. I took it out and looked at it. It looked like the stone. I pocketed it.
"Rose.... Why did you leave me...." I glanced at him again and stepped out the door. I barely avoided getting caught by two maids while on my way back to my room. I slipped the stone under a loose brick and crawled in bed. Tomarrow I would leave this place and sort out my destiny.

The plan was easy, in a way. Well, it would be easy for some people. But not Darken. He was in the main attack force. He only agreed to be in the main attack force because his payment was 2,000 gold pieces and some healing items. "Fair enough," he had said...

Soldier:HERE IT COMES!!!

Well, the plan might have worked, but no one followed it. Everyone but the leader ran in fear of the dragon...

Leader:Well, I guess we need a plan B....

Darken:Make my payment 4,000 gold pieces...

Before he could say any thing, Darken ran at the dragon. As he thought, this startled the dragon; it didn't think someone would attack it head on... Darken didn't waste any time. When he came to the dragon, he jumped under it. He stabbed it in it's underside, then he used his legs to push himself until the cut was too big for the dragon to live from. When the dragon finally died...

Darken:Get your men... It's time we go to this camp of your's...

My sleep was broken that night. I would sleep ten or twenty minutes then wake up, wide eyed and sweating. Finally I saw the sun creep up over the edge of the horizon. I dressed in a black robe, and slipped out of my first story window. I landed softly in the moist grass of early morning. I set out at a run toward the town, not more than a mile away. The black stone bounced merrily in my pocket. Something inside of me suddenly cried out.
"What are you doing!? You stole your fathers most prized posession! What is he going to do to you when he finds out? Go back to the castle and return it before he finds out! Go, NOW!!" I stopped dead. Maybe I should go back. I am in deep trouble if my father ever catches me. I smiled. I just won't ever go back. I'll leave Korte Castle forever. The town's billowing chimney smoke was just visible on the horizon. I looked into my leather pouch. I had plenty of gold. Enough to get some armour and weapons. My time will come soon... Every dog has it's day.

Darken was feeling pretty good by now, he was paid more than he ask for. He now had armor, lots of healing items, and 5,000 gold pieces. So, he headed into Seles.

Darken:I should do this more often... With this, I won't have to worry much so I can train more....

He desides to rest at the inn, then he would head from the best place to train that he could find...
